    How can I take a string in a format such as: 2008-06-02 00:00:00.0 and convert it to: 02-Jun-2008? Can I somehow take the original string, convert it to a Date object, then use a formatter to get the final output (rather than parsing the string myself)? Thanks!

  • strtotime() doesn't work with dd/mm/YYYY format!

    I really like the strtotime() function, but the user manual doesn't give a complete description of the supported date formats. strtotime('dd/mm/YYYY') doesn't work, it works only with mm/dd/YYYY format. if i have date in dd/mm/YYYY format, ho can i convert it to YYYY-mm-dd? i can do it by using explode() function, but i think tere are better solution. Thanks

  • Error debugging - Conversion from String to Double

    I'm doing some error debugging trying to get the errors on our website down to a minimum and there seems to be an error that is popping up quite a lot Conversion from string "" to type 'Double' is not valid. I'm unable to replicate this problem but I can see that it is happening. I've been looking through the code in one of the pages and strolled across this Dim varWeek As String If varWeek < 10 Then 'Do something' End If Could this be causing the problem as it is trying to see if a String is less than 10 which is an Integer? As I said before as I am unable to see this error in the first place so changing this to an Integer doesn't change anything on my system. Thanks.

    Hello, I get the warning "Format not a string literal and no format arguments" on the NSLog call in the following block: (void) alertView:(UIAlertView *)alertView clickedButtonAtIndex:(NSInteger)buttonIndex { NSLog([NSString stringWithFormat:@"%d", buttonIndex]); } I have read in another post here that this error message indicates an insecure use of NSLog. In more detail, I have a bit stream that is read as an integer by hardware, and I need to do some operations on the bits to make it into what its actually supposed to be (a float). I have to do this a few times for different formats, and the functionality I need is Being able to select and move individual bits in a variable Being able to cast statically one type of variable to the other (ie. int to float) I know php natively supports bitwise AND, OR, etc, and shift operations, but I was wondering if: there may already be a library in php that does this sort of thing I would be better off with delegating the calculations to some other language Thanks,

My concern is that the quality of the retrieved image is not up to the expectation. Is there a way to have better conversion to byte array and retrieving? I am not worried about the space conception.     Hello, I'm experiencing something really strange with my javascript in chrome with Date().format. If I use the console and type: d = new Date(Date.parse("2010-05-28")) d.format("yyyy-MM-dd"); "" d._toFormattedString(); "Fri May 28 2010 00:00:00 GMT+0200 (W. Europe Daylight Time)" Anyone got any clue why I get an empty string? And it's only in Chrome, didn't happen in Chrome 4, and it doesn't happen in IE8/Firefox3.5
