    Hi, I'm looking for an MKV meta tag editor, I'm using PLEX Media Server and PLEX Media Center on my iMac to see movies. PLEX is great because it automatically find and name all my movie library with year, director, gender, original title, description, movie poter art, etc. Unfortunately, it saves all the data only on a app DB file without edit any tag on the MKV files. A 20% of the movies needs to be fixed or PLEX needs help to find exactly the movie name, so if I need to move all my library elsewere, I need to do all the tagging work again. So, does exists MKV meta tag editor? Oh I'm a Mac user

  • Text editor for Mac that will open any file

    In Windows, every text editor I encountered allowed me to drag and drop any file type into it and it opened. Apparently, Mac app developers have a different philosophy because I can't find a simple free text editor for OS X that will do this. TextWrangler came highly recommended but it can't accomplish this simple feat. Can anyone suggest one? Edit apparently on at least some editors, there is a distinction between drag/drop in the document list area vs. the typing area. In addition to the accepted answer, this is one thing to be aware of. I still don't know why it doesn't work in TextEdit, but this is true for TextWrangler and Smultron.

  • Change default text editor for crontab to vim

    I'm using ubuntu 9.10 and the default text editor is nano, which i hate. (doesn't everyone?) Normally it's not a problem as i just vi or gedit everything but crontab -e is opening with nano. I tried changing it to vim using sudo update-alternatives --config editor and selecting option 3 ("/usr/bin/vim.basic"). This has changed it for sudo and non-sudo alike. But crontab -e still opens nano. Any ideas? max

  • VERY large text files and Snow Leopard

    Sometimes I need to work on EXTREMELY large text files. 200-300 megs or more. My favorite text editor on my MacBook Pro is TextMate. However, TM chokes on very large text files. Even ones around the 100MB mark. Is there a text editor that can handle such files for Snow Leopard? Thanks!

    This is my first time trying to do something useful with Java.. I'm trying to do something like this but it doesn't work: Map<String, String> propertyMap = new HashMap<String, String>(); propertyMap = JacksonUtils.fromJSON(properties, Map.class); But the IDE says: 'Unchecked assignment Map to Map<String,String>' What's the right way to do this? I'm only using Jackson because that's what is already available in the project, is there a native Java way of converting to/from JSON? In PHP I would simply json_decode($str) and I'd get back an array. I need basically the same thing here. Thanks!

    Hi There.. I have a Linksys NAS200, I have several user in that. Only for My A/c i can't map network drive. When i try to excess my personal folder. no access coming..but i can open my personal folder in web browser.other user are able to acess their folder. It happed to me only. whenever i tried, its only showing one shared folder which is visble and shared to all user.. We will provide them with a large number of feature classes, but users will effectively author their own maps, map symbologies, etc. Furthermore, they will create and edit their own feature classes, which they can both map and share with other users. The model for AGS map services seems to be: author a map in ArcMap, save an MXD/MSD, publish. I'm struggling to understand how this can help us build a dynamic web mapping platform as described above. Can anyone offer some tips on how to go about it?

What I had done was Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layout] "Scancode Map"=hex:00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,02,00,00,00,1d,00,3a,00,00,00,00,00 Windows 8.1 may have changed how it interprets the keyboard layout registry, I'm guessing. I'm an avid emacs user, so this problem is a life-or-death scenario for me.

    Hi, I am trying to create a wpf control that will display a map image using google maps. I want to be able to centre the map on a longitude and latitude specified by the application. Ideally, the control will then allow the user to move a map marker and store the latitude/longitude of the marker in the application. The only way I can think of doing this is to use a WebBrowser control and create a HTML string at runtime that shows a map of the desired location. This seems like an awkward solution and won't allow me to easily retrieve the marker location. Does anyone know of a better way to accomplish this?

Getting the the 3d meshes for buildings would also be fine since I can compute the height myself using that information.     I am trying to map subdomain to amazon ec2 with elastic IP. I already mapped the www.xxxexample.com to my shared hosting by giving the dns server name (ns1.justhost.com). And I created a many subdomains using the cpanel of shared hosting. Shared hosting is working fine. Amazon route53 is a paid service. So I dont want to use that service. I want to map my subdomain points to amazon ec2 instance and main domain already primarily mapped to shared hosting. I tried from the below example, nothing worked for me, getting my domain name to point to my amazon ec2 instance Can anybody help me to get rid of this issue?? Thanks in advance.

According to the android google maps API v2: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/android/views the way to set a specific zoom value is "CameraUpdateFactory.zoomTo(float)" and the same api https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/android/reference/com/google/android/gms/maps/CameraUpdateFactory#zoomTo(float) tells that the minimum argument to this function is 2. but when I call the function: mMap.moveCamera(CameraUpdateFactory.zoomTo(2)); The viewport of the world map is just a little bigger than Australia... With this particular file I could just run ffmpeg -i infile.mp4 -c copy -map v -map :2 outfile.mp4 However this will not work if the audio streams are switched. How can I tell FFmpeg to use the 2 channel audio only?

  • Algorithm to determine which points should be visible on a map based on zoom

    Hi! I'm making a Google Maps-like application for a course at my Uni (not something complex, it should load the map of a city for example, not the whole world). The map can have many layers, including markers (restaurants, hospitals, etc.) The problem is that when you have many points and you zoom out the map it doesn't look right. At this zoom level only some points need to be visible (and at the maximum map size, all points). The question is: how can you determine which points should be visible for a specified zoom level? Because I have implemented a PR Quadtree to speed up rendering I thought that I could define some "high-priority" markers (that are always visible, defined in the map editor) and put them in a queue. At each step a marker is removed from the queue and all it's neighbors that are at least D units away (D depends on the zoom levels) are chosen and inserted in the queue, and so on. Is there any better way than the algorithm I thought of? Thanks in advance!

  • Select points on a map

    I am just beginning design work on a problem that I'm sure has been solved before. In a web based application, I need to: a) present a map b) place a set of points (map-pins) on the map c) allow the user at his browser to draw a simple closed curve on the map with his mouse d) send the path of that curve back to the server e) on the server, select from the set of points those that are within the closed curve. What are the best API's to use for this problem? (I know I can and will do more research with Google, but I'm figuring there is probably someone who has done this that can give me some pointers to narrow my search space.) Thanks.
