  • Using Fzip lib under Adobe Air App

    I'm currently working on a project for Adobe Air (1.5.3) and I need to unzip a file, copy some of its contents to another file. Then I saw people talking about the Fzip (http://codeazur.com.br/lab/fzip) lib. The problem is that I don't know how to "import" or use this library with Javascript and Adobe Air, since Javascript doesn't have the import directive. How can I manage to do that ?

  • How to register showing event handler for HoverMenuBehavior from ASP.NET

    I'm talking about ASP.NET AJAX library. I'm using HoverMenuBehavior to display a tooltip. What I'm missing however is to display it left from tooltip referece or to the right depending on tooltip image position.   • Web page looks good in Firefox but every other browser hates it

    I am trying to make my own website and it was coming along quite nicely. It looked beautiful in Firefox when opened and worked wonderfully. But then I run it in any other browser and it does not work. How can I fix this?     i have seen some parsing code, thats really long, but it doesn't involve replacing stuff inside an opened file using file_get_contents() for example. im talking about say parsing a .doc into .html format, they read the file then output it in html. i have tried this using arrays and preg_replace but it just doesn't seem as clean as other code. anyone know the basic concept of parsing? thanks, tell me if im not clear

    I have a list of artists, albums and tracks that I want to sort using the first letter of their respective name. The issue arrives when I want to ignore "The ", "A ", "An " and other various non-alphanumeric characters (Talking to you "Weird Al" Yankovic and [dialog]). Django has a nice start '^(An?|The) +' but I want to ignore those and a few others of my choice. I am doing this in Django, using a MySQL db with utf8_bin collation.

    In one of the Stackoverflow podcasts, I remember Jeff Atwood saying that there was a configuration option in SQL Server 2008 which cuts down on locking, and was kind of an alternative to using "with (nolock)" in all your queries. Does anybody know how to enable the feature he was talking about, possibly even Jeff himself. I'm looking at deploying SQL Server 2008, and want to see if using a feature like this would help out my web application.

    I am using Microsoft Access 2007 to move and massage some data between two SQL Servers. Yesterday everything was working correctly, I was able to run queries, update data, and delete data. Today I opened up the Access database to finish my data migration and am now receiving the following message when I try to run some update queries: The action or event has been blocked by Disabled Mode.   • Eclipse Javadoc tooltip help doesn't show classes' supertypes and interfaces

    I'm talking about the tooltip that pops up when you hover your mouse over a class in your source (which also helps with intellisense and auto completion), which describes what a class/method/etc does. I find it very annoying that it doesn't show what superclass the class (being described) extends or what interfaces it implements. Is there a way to make eclipse show the additional information?
