    Type mismatch. Expecting a LexBuffer but given a LexBuffer The type 'char' does not match the type 'byte' This is the error message that I am getting while using fslex. I have tried manually checking every single occurrence of lexbuf and its type. It's LexBuffer everywhere. But still the compiler is giving me the above error. Can you please tell me why this error occurs and how to go about resolving it. Thanks, chandrasekhar

    I am trying to run JUnit test with a 1.5 JRE, but get the error Message: java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: Bad version number in .class file When I switch to JRE 1.6 (actually a JDK but that shouldn't matter, right?) everythings works fine. So the questions are: Do we really need Java 6 for the current JUnit version? what is the newest JUnit version, that works with Java 5?

    I have a .Net web application that for performance issues gets all the static data (CSS, Images, JS) from an external server that is on different location and different hosting company. I want to enable SSL on my site without the users getting a message: "Page contains both secure and insecure elements" Does this means I’ll have to get two SSL Certificates one for each server? If I want the users to continue getting the static content from the external server what other options do I have? Thanks.

  • MVC Entity Framework: Cannot open user default database. Login failed.

    This type of stuff drives me nuts. I'm having trouble finding the exact issue that I'm having, maybe I just don't know the terminology. Anyway, I had a working website using MVC and Entity Framework, but then I coded an error in a partial view page (ascx). Then all of a sudden I started to get this message. Cannot open user default database. Login failed. Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM' I've found plenty of suggestions about opening SQL Server Management Studio, Double Click on Security, Double Click on Logins, Double click on NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM and then double click on User Mapping. In this view I'm suppose to check the box for my database so that this user is mapped to this login. However, since I created my database in Visio Studio 2008 as part of my solution, it doesn't show up to allow me to click on it. So what do I do now? What drives me nuts is that everything was working fine. I was using my computer name to access the website and everything was working fine until the coding error. I've fix the error but still getting the error. I should also mention that this error started yesterday too around the same time but later cleared itself up. If I use localhost to access the site, it works just fine. IIS7 configuration for my website: Application Pool = DefaultAppPool Physical Path Credentials Logon = ClearText With in connection strings. I do see the one for my database in this solution. Entry Type is local metadata=res://*/Models.DataModel.csdl|res://*/Models.DataModel.ssdl|res://*/Models.DataModel.msl; provider=System.Data.SqlClient; provider connection string="Data Source=.\SQLEXPRESS;AttachDbFilename=|DataDirectory|\FFBall.mdf;Integrated Security=True;User Instance=True;MultipleActiveResultSets=True" And somewhere I remember changing the identity from Network Service to LocalSystem. Because when I first stared I was getting this same message, but I changed this value and it started working. I saw that suggested somewhere too but I do not recall. Wait I remember now, I believe in IIS7, under Application Pools, DefaultAppPool identity is set to LocalSystem. Additional things I've tried. Restart the computer Recycle the application pool. Antivirus isn't running. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I tried that on a dll files I got and got an error message saying that "the entry-point DLLRegisterServer was not found." I heard that to use theis dll file you have to use "ctypes." So what are you supposed to do with it?

  • Perl ftp question, like the previous ones ...

    I need to move or copy a simple text file from one web site to another web site. I have administrator rights to both web sites. The first web site has a large data file (again, just a text file), certain records are selected and written to a team file (for entry into a tournament). Next I go through paypal and pay for the entries. The second site is for the the club running the tournament and I use IPN to return to a script on their site and if it verified, I add the team memebers into the master file for the tournament. I am limited to the ONE IPN script on the tournament site because I have a ton of other entries that come in from all over. The first site has the rosters for the state and no need to type all that data from each club, use the rosters like I use for all the non-paypal tounamenmts. I can ftp the team file to the second server and place it in the folder just like it was created from scratch from that server originally and everything should go fine but I took the examples and tried them and nothing.     i'm often getting multiple errors showing up for an individual property, when I'd like them to be prioritized, as in, if Required is satisfied, check StringLength, but if Required fails, show that message only. I'm getting inconsistent behavior here, and I'm curious as to how the framework determines this priority? has anyone else had problems with this? Thanks!
