    I have an application that contains Menu and sub menus. I have attached Appliocation Commands to some of the sub menu items such as Cut, Copy and Paste. I also have some other menu items that do not have application commands. How could I add a custom command binding to those sub menu items? I have gone through this artcile but unable to attach event to my sub menu items.

  • How do you programmatically move the caret of a Flex TextArea to the end?

    I'm trying to move the caret in a Flex TextArea to the end after appending some text from my code. I've looked through the reference documentation for TextArea and its underlying TextField but it appears there is no method provided to handle this. One approach I've tried is to set focus to the text area and dispatch a KeyUp KeyboardEvent with the event's key code set to the "End" key, but this doesn't work. Any ideas on how to do this? Thanks.

    I am using the properties view in RCP, i.e org.eclipse.ui.views.properties.PropertySheet. I want to be able to refresh the content of these properties programmatically. It seems RCP is geared towards the use case where this changes only when a selection changes. Is there any way I can fire a dummy event to get this to refresh (without having ugly UI artifacts such as visibly switching between parts) ?

    In my android app I set this.getWindow().setFlags(WindowManager.LayoutParams.FLAG_FULLSCREEN, WindowManager.LayoutParams.FLAG_FULLSCREEN ); Then my touch screen event doesnt’ work any more. Further Explaining, I have a button and onClick it changes the contentView by setContentView(R.layout.choose_player);. It works fine. We cannot compile the sample anyway as the Maven compiler keeps looking up the references files and errors with checksum validation failed. Thanks

Android is doing something like below when I press the volume key: 1. increase media / ringtone volume 2. pass the event to my application Is there a way to avoid increasing the system volume and use volume key only for my application ?
