  • Get the path of the .dmg from the mount point

    I'm looking for a way to get the .dmg path of a mounted disk image with just its mount point. I want to write a "simple" Finder service that ejects the disk image and trashes the accompanying .dmg. The ejecting is trivial, but I'm at a loss as to how to figure out the path of the .dmg, given just the mount point. diskutil doesn't seem to know or isn't saying. It's for a script, so AppleScript- or shell-based suggestions are preferred.

  • Python3 - Deleting dirs after finishing a commando prompt

    I have a python script that ends with running a program (iexpress.exe) in a dos prompt. The program that runs in dos prompt, uses a dir called workdir. After the program has finished in the dos prompt I would like python to delete the dir. I have just made a simple solution of putting a delay of 30sec: time.sleep(30) removeall(workdir) os.rmdir(workdir) But how should I do it, if python should delete the dir right after the process has finished?

    I have a program that is interacting with hardware via parallel port programming. i had compiled it and using its object file to interact with the hardware (a simple led). when i execute it directly on the shell it serves the purpose of glowing the LED but when i execute it using shell_exec() in php the command is executed but unable to interact with the hardware. i am totally confused.. .

The resulting plot looks similar to the following figure, copied from this blog post: Is there any ready to use function based on python's matplolib?     Hi, I have two tables: Contact (id,name) Link (id, contact_id, source_id) I have the following query which works that returns the contacts with the source_id of 8 in the Link table. SELECT name FROM `Contact` LEFT JOIN Link ON Link.contact_id = Contact.id WHERE Link.source_id=8; However I am a little stumped on how to return a list of all the contacts which are NOT associated with source_id of 8. A simple != will not work as contacts without any links are not returned. Thanks.

    Is it possible to annotate lattice (or ggplot2) figures with elements created with polygon() (or elements created with a similar function) from the graphics library? I'm not too familiar with either library beyond examples of simple graphs posted on the web and printed in Deepayan Sarkar's book. Therefore, while I have code for what I've been doing in R with the graphics library, pointing me to relevant, equivalent functions and usage examples for lattice or ggplot2 specifically would be appreciated.     Hi, If I use jquery media plugin WITH swfobject 2.2 I get an 'unknown runtime error' in IE. It works fine in FF and other browsers. If i remove swfobject.js then the media works fine as it loads using simple object/embed tags. But I need to use swfobject as well (for other things). Has anybody come across this or a fix? A.
