    hi, im using jquery in asp.net, if i try to use $.ajax functionality, i got this if i use it in a separate page it works.. when i put it in an ascx and put the ascx out of <form runat="server" >... tags it works if i put it between <form> tags , jquery works but it doesnt fire $.ajax event

  • Is it a bad programming practise to have "Public" members inside an "Internal" class?

    I mean, won;t it be more specific and appropriate if i "only" keep "protected","internal" and "private" members (field,method,property,event) in a class which is declared as "internal" ? I have seen this practice ( having "public" members in an "internal" class) in various code so just wanted to know is it a bad practice or does it has some benefit or advantage.     I am dynamically loading user control in Button Click event, since these user controls are dynamically loaded I have to recreate all previous user controls as well per click. My user control just has two textboxes for now, but I am not able to persist my inputs across postbacks. My ids are same everytime. I have enableViewstate ="true" in all controls all up to page level. Please adivce.

    Hi, On view in IB I have numerous items (including view itself). ONLY one item has tag 0, yet following line works for ANY UITextBox other then the one with tag 0. Note that only ONE UITextBox has tag 0, why: (UITextField *) [self.view viewWithTag:0]).text = @"foo"; Interesting that when triggered event received for the element with tag 0, I can get value of Tag 0 with no problem. Is there a limitation to look for tag 0 elements?

    I am writing a networking application using the java.nio api. My plan is to perform I/O on one thread, and handle events on another. To do this though, I need to synchronize reading/writing so that a race condition is never met. Bearing in mind that I need to handle thousands of connections concurrently, is synchronization worth it, or should I use a single thread for I/O and event handling?
