  • how to update a selected record in a dataset and update another datatable in another Adoconnection?

    I have 2 adoconnections and 2 datatables in each connection (Local Table1_master Table1_Detail) (Network Table1_master Table1_Detail). I show them in a DBgrid and now I would like to update the (Local Table1_master Table1_Detail) from the tables in (Network Table1_master Table1_Detail). How can I update the selected records? I have tried many ways but normally it inserts more records and doesn´t update the record. I use a .MDB database.

    I'm trying to implement GK's voice chat. I have the underlying network done over wifi instead of bluetooth. Between the simulator and my test device, I was able to accept the invitation. But immediately after, I get the call didNotStartWithParticipantID, with the following error: Error Domain=GKVoiceChatServiceErrorDomain Code=32002 UserInfo=0x3b286f0 "Network conditions prevented connection." Any ideas? What's causing this?

My problem is that when a Microsoft-office file is opened, a temporary file is created in the watched directory. I can't find a way to ignore these files and also could not find when I should move these file to the network drive.

    Hi, When I'm developing my gwt project without a network connection, is there a way to detect this? For example, I have a widget that has an Image in it, and the widget does not display until the Image url request times out (takes a long time, like 2 minutes?). Also, whenever I refresh the page in hosted mode, it doesn't finish loading for about a minute, when no network connection - seems like gwt is trying to contact some external website and blocking on that until it times out too - making things really slow - any way to stop that too?     Me and my friends play Age of Empires every weekend and create an Ad-hoc network each time before playing. But each time we all get the SAME IP Address even if a new ad-hoc network is created. Is this something to do with the Game's algorithm or does the laptop remember our previous IP Address. EDIT: What is the algorithm that is used to distribute the IP Addresses? If the algorithm uses random function how come same IP addresses are being allocated.
