  • Is there some performance issue between leaving empty ListProperties or using dynamic (expando) prop

    Is there a datastore performance difference between adding dynamic properties of the expando class when they are needed for an entity or the simpler (for me) framework of just setting up all possible properties I might need from the start even though most instances will just be left empty. In my specific case I would be having 5-8 empty ReferenceList properties as 'overhead' that will be empty when I skip using expando class.

It's working for the first element (objectid). Here is my ReqEx, which works fine: (?<=(rel="\{objectid:))\d+(?=[,|\}]) But i want to do somthing like this, which doesn't work: (?<=(rel="\{.*objectid:))\d+(?=[,|\}]) So i can parse every element of the search string. Anyone know how to do this: When some user left my site by closing the browser or tab or going to other site I would like to do an action (show an alert) and if the user clicks on a link or button to other page of my own site I would like to do another action... If I use unload event I can't differentiate between these two kind of behavior of the user... please help because I really need it. Thanks for the help.

During the knowledge transfer, it was told to me that all the events are logged to the database. I don't find the database interface useful to search for logs and sometimes they don't even log(I might be wrong). Since I'm really a JavaScript rookie, I didn't really know how to get the information. Normally I would extract the information with "preg_match" and some regular expressions.     Hi all, On my iphone app, I have a UITableView in edit mode, containing custom UITableViewCell. I would like to detect when user has clicked on the left button of each cell (minus circular red button, the one that is animated with a rotation), just before the "Delete" button appears. Or at least, how could i modify the javascript code to make it work in both internet browsers?

  • How do I change the title of the "back" button on a Navigation Bar

    Currently the left bar button default value is the title of the view that loaded the current one, in other words the view to be shown when the button is pressed (back button). I want to change the text shown on the button to something else. I tried putting the following line of code in the view controller's viewDidLoad method but it doesn't seem to work. self.navigationItem.leftBarButtonItem.title = @"Log Out"; What should I do?     I need to use a shell across multiple ajax requests. Basically this means that the next request should be able to continue with the same shell where the other process left off. The purpose is to communicate with daemons like FTP to open an FTP connection and log in and in the next request continue with that connection and be able to use it for uploads. But it's not limited to only the FTP daemon (as I know that FTP is supported in PHP).

    I'm debugging a batch file left behind by an old employee and I've come across the line: @nmake -f makefile /E 2>&1 | tee %LOGFILEPATH% What does this do? I know what @nmake -f makefile /E does and I know what tee %LOGFILEPATH% does, but I can't find anything on what the 2>&1 | means. Thanks

  • Negate the null-coalescing operator

    I have a bunch of strings I need to use .Trim() on, but they can be null. It would be much more concise if I could do something like: string endString = startString !?? startString.Trim(); Basically return the part on the right if the part on the left is NOT null, otherwise just return the null value. I just ended up using the ternary operator, but is there anyway to use the null-coalescing operator for this purpose?

  • Adding back button to navigation bar

    I've added a navigation bar to a UIViewController. It is displayed from another UIViewController only. I'd like to have a left side back button that is shaped similar to an arrow, just like the normal navigation bar back button. It seems I can only add a bar button through IB. I'm guessing the back button needs to be added programmatically. Any suggestions on how I should do this?
