  • Building the WAR with m2eclipse in combination with WTP (handling webResources)

    - by waxwing
    I have a situation where I have a web application that is built using maven (i.e., maven-war-plugin). For each code modification, we have had to manually launch maven and restart the application server. Now, to reduce build cycle overhead, I want to use WTP to publish the webapp. Now, we have resource processing with Maven, and there are some additional Maven tasks defined in our POM when building the webapp. Therefore m2eclipse seems like a natural solution. I have gotten far enough that the Maven builder is running these tasks and filtering resources correctly. However, when I choose "Run on Server", the WAR file does not look like it would if I built it in Maven. I am guessing that this is because WTP actually builds the WAR, and not the m2eclipse builder. So even though we have configured the maven-war-plugin in our POM, those settings are not used. Below is a snippet with our maven-war-plugin configuration. What is configured under "webResources" is not picked up, it appears: <groupId>org.apache.maven.plugins</groupId> <artifactId>maven-war-plugin</artifactId> <version>2.1-alpha-2</version> <configuration> <outputDirectory>${project.build.directory}</outputDirectory> <workDirectory>${project.build.directory}/work</workDirectory> <webappDirectory>${project.build.webappDirectory}</webappDirectory> <cacheFile>${project.build.webappDirectory}/webapp-cache.xml</cacheFile> <filteringDeploymentDescriptors>true</filteringDeploymentDescriptors> <nonFilteredFileExtensions> <nonFilteredFileExtension>pdf</nonFilteredFileExtension> <nonFilteredFileExtension>png</nonFilteredFileExtension> <nonFilteredFileExtension>gif</nonFilteredFileExtension> <nonFilteredFileExtension>jsp</nonFilteredFileExtension> </nonFilteredFileExtensions> <webResources> <!-- Add generated WSDL:s and XSD:s for the web service api. --> <resource> <directory>${project.build.directory}/jaxws/wsgen/wsdl</directory> <targetPath>WEB-INF/wsdl</targetPath> <filtering>false</filtering> <includes> <include>**/*</include> </includes> </resource> </webResources> </configuration> Do I need to reconfigure these resources to be handled elsewhere, or is there a better solution?

  • Taking screenshot with Win32 API (C# pInvoke) not working in IIS

    - by Dillen Meijboom
    I want to take a screenshot of an external website. Currently my workflow is to start a Firefox instance with the specified URL and take a screenshot using PrintWindow in the Win32 API When I run this application in IISExpress it works fine but when I run the same application in IIS on a windows VPS it is not working (screenshot is blank). I don't know what I'm doing wrong? My code: using Newtonsoft.Json; using System; using System.Collections.Generic; using System.Diagnostics; using System.Drawing; using System.Drawing.Imaging; using System.Linq; using System.Runtime.InteropServices; using System.Security; using System.Threading; using System.Web; namespace WebTools.Web { public class RemoteScreenshot { public static Bitmap TakeScreenshot(Process process) { // may need a process Refresh before return TakeScreenshot(process.MainWindowHandle); } public static Bitmap TakeScreenshot(IntPtr handle) { RECT rc = new RECT(); GetWindowRect(handle, ref rc); Bitmap bitmap = new Bitmap(rc.right - rc.left, rc.bottom - rc.top); using (Graphics graphics = Graphics.FromImage(bitmap)) { PrintWindow(handle, graphics.GetHdc(), 0); } return bitmap; } [DllImport("user32.dll")] private static extern bool GetWindowRect(IntPtr hWnd, ref RECT rect); [DllImport("user32.dll")] private static extern bool PrintWindow(IntPtr hWnd, IntPtr hDC, int flags); [StructLayout(LayoutKind.Sequential)] private struct RECT { public int left; public int top; public int right; public int bottom; } public static void Save(string url, string file, int timeout = 0) { Process.Start(new ProcessStartInfo("C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Mozilla Firefox\\firefox.exe", url) { CreateNoWindow = false, WindowStyle = ProcessWindowStyle.Maximized }); Thread.Sleep(timeout); var bitmap = TakeScreenshot(Process.GetProcessesByName("firefox").First()); bitmap.Save(file, ImageFormat.Png); bitmap.Dispose(); Process.GetProcessesByName("firefox").First().Kill(); } } } EDIT: Running Firefox works fine because the AppPool is under another account that has the rights to execute firefox.

  • rails paperclip unable to access image from another view

    - by curiousCoder
    my app has an habtm relation b/w listings and categories. now from the categories index page, a user filters select box to view listings in the show page. now i am not able to access images attached to listings in the category show page. listing.rb attr_accessible :placeholder, :categories_ids has_and_belongs_to_many :categories has_attached_file :placeholder, :styles => { :medium => "300x300>", :thumb => "100x100>" }, :default_url => "/images/:style/missing.png", :url => "/system/:hash.:extension", :hash_secret => "longSecretString" categories controller def index @categories = Category.all end def show @categories = Category.find_by_sql ["select distinct l.* from listings l , categories c, categories_listings cl where c.id = cl.category_id and l.id = cl.listing_id and c.id in (?,?)" , params[:c][:id1] , params[:c][:id2]] end the sql just filters and displays the listings in show page where i can show its attributes, but cant access the placeholder. note the plural @categories in show categories show page <ul> <% @categories.each_with_index do |c, index| %> <% if index == 0 %> <li class="first"><%= c.place %></li> <%= image_tag c.placeholder.url(:thumb) %> <li><%= c.price %></li> <% else %> <li><%= c.place %></li> <li><%= c.price %></li> <%= image_tag c.placeholder.url(:thumb) %> <% end %> <% end %> </ul> Access image from different view in a view with paperclip gem ruby on rails this said to make the object plural and call a loop, wch shall allow to access the image. it does not work in this case. undefined method `placeholder' for #<Category:0x5c78640> but the amazing thing is, placeholder will be displayed as an array of all images for all the listings if used as suggested in that stackoverflow, wch is, obviously, not the way i prefer. where's the issue? what am i missing?

  • android - using resources drawable in content provider

    - by Russ Wheeler
    I am trying to pass back an image through a content provider in a separate app. I have two apps, one with the activity in (app a), the other with content provider (app b) I have app a reading an image off my SD card via app b using the following code. App a: public void but_update(View view) { ContentResolver resolver = getContentResolver(); Uri uri = Uri.parse("content://com.jash.cp_source_two.provider/note/1"); InputStream inStream = null; try { inStream = resolver.openInputStream(uri); Bitmap bitmap = BitmapFactory.decodeStream(inStream); image = (ImageView) findViewById(R.id.imageView1); image.setImageBitmap(bitmap); } catch(FileNotFoundException e) { Toast.makeText(getBaseContext(), "error = "+e, Toast.LENGTH_LONG).show(); } finally { if (inStream != null) { try { inStream.close(); } catch (IOException e) { Log.e("test", "could not close stream", e); } } } }; App b: @Override public ParcelFileDescriptor openFile(Uri uri, String mode) throws FileNotFoundException { try { File path = new File(Environment.getExternalStorageDirectory().getAbsolutePath(),"pic2.png"); return ParcelFileDescriptor.open(path,ParcelFileDescriptor.MODE_READ_ONLY); } catch (FileNotFoundException e) { Log.i("r", "File not found"); throw new FileNotFoundException(); } } In app a I am able to display an image from app a's resources folder, using setImageURi and constructing a URI using the following code. int id = R.drawable.a2; Resources resources = getBaseContext().getResources(); Uri uri = Uri.parse(ContentResolver.SCHEME_ANDROID_RESOURCE + "://" + resources.getResourcePackageName(id) + '/' + resources.getResourceTypeName(id) + '/' + resources.getResourceEntryName(id) ); image = (ImageView) findViewById(R.id.imageView1); image.setImageURI(uri); However, if I try to do the same in app b (read from app b's resources folder rather than the image on the SD card) it doesn't work, saying it can't find the file, even though I am creating the path of the file from the resource, so it is definitely there. Any ideas? Does it restrict sending resources over the content provider somehow? P.S. I also got an error when I tried to create the file with File path = new File(uri); saying 'there is no applicable constructor to '(android.net.Uri)' though http://developer.android.com/reference/java/io/File.html#File(java.net.URI) Seems to think it's possible...unless java.net.URI is different to android.net.URI, in which case can I convert them? Thanks Russ

  • LINQ to SQL: To Attach or Not To Attach

    - by bradhe
    So I'm have a really hard time figuring out when I should be attaching to an object and when I shouldn't be attaching to an object. First thing's first, here is a small diagram of my (very simplified) object model. Edit: Okay, apparently I'm not allowed to post images...here you go: http://i.imgur.com/2ROFI.png In my DAL I create a new DataContext every time I do a data-related operation. Say, for instance, I want to save a new user. In my business layer I create a new user. var user = new User(); user.FirstName = "Bob"; user.LastName = "Smith"; user.Username = "bob.smith"; user.Password = StringUtilities.EncodePassword("MyPassword123"); user.Organization = someOrganization; // Assume that someOrganization was loaded and it's data context has been garbage collected. Now I want to go save this user. var userRepository = new RepositoryFactory.GetRepository<UserRepository>(); userRepository.Save(user); Neato! Here is my save logic: public void Save(User user) { if (!DataContext.Users.Contains(user)) { user.Id = Guid.NewGuid(); user.CreatedDate = DateTime.Now; user.Disabled = false; //DataContext.Organizations.Attach(user.Organization); DataContext.Users.InsertOnSubmit(user); } else { DataContext.Users.Attach(user); } DataContext.SubmitChanges(); // Finished here as well. user.Detach(); } So, here we are. You'll notice that I comment out the bit where the DataContext attachs to the organization. If I attach to the organization I get the following exception: NotSupportedException: An attempt has been made to Attach or Add an entity that is not new, perhaps having been loaded from another DataContext. This is not supported. Hmm, that doesn't work. Let me try it without attaching (i.e. comment out that line about attaching to the organization). DuplicateKeyException: Cannot add an entity with a key that is already in use. WHAAAAT? I can only assume this is trying to insert a new organization which is obviously false. So, what's the deal guys? What should I do? What is the proper approach? It seems like L2S makes this quite a bit harder than it should be...

  • Rails + AMcharts (with export image php script) - PHP script converted to controller?

    - by Elliot
    Hey Guys, This one might be a little confusing. I'm using AMCharts with rails. Amcharts comes with a PHP script to export images called "export.php" I'm trying to figure out how to take the code in export.php and put it into a controller. Here is the code: <?php // amcharts.com export to image utility // set image type (gif/png/jpeg) $imgtype = 'jpeg'; // set image quality (from 0 to 100, not applicable to gif) $imgquality = 100; // get data from $_POST or $_GET ? $data = &$_POST; // get image dimensions $width = (int) $data['width']; $height = (int) $data['height']; // create image object $img = imagecreatetruecolor($width, $height); // populate image with pixels for ($y = 0; $y < $height; $y++) { // innitialize $x = 0; // get row data $row = explode(',', $data['r'.$y]); // place row pixels $cnt = sizeof($row); for ($r = 0; $r < $cnt; $r++) { // get pixel(s) data $pixel = explode(':', $row[$r]); // get color $pixel[0] = str_pad($pixel[0], 6, '0', STR_PAD_LEFT); $cr = hexdec(substr($pixel[0], 0, 2)); $cg = hexdec(substr($pixel[0], 2, 2)); $cb = hexdec(substr($pixel[0], 4, 2)); // allocate color $color = imagecolorallocate($img, $cr, $cg, $cb); // place repeating pixels $repeat = isset($pixel[1]) ? (int) $pixel[1] : 1; for ($c = 0; $c < $repeat; $c++) { // place pixel imagesetpixel($img, $x, $y, $color); // iterate column $x++; } } } // set proper content type header('Content-type: image/'.$imgtype); header('Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="chart.'.$imgtype.'"'); // stream image $function = 'image'.$imgtype; if ($imgtype == 'gif') { $function($img); } else { $function($img, null, $imgquality); } // destroy imagedestroy($img); ?>

  • How to detect if Asp.Net form is valid

    - by Hasan Gürsoy
    Hi, I have a form which is in an updatePanel and I have a span with hidden loading image, which I want to show when user clicks to submit button but I first need to check if page is valid on client side. • Problem deploying Rails with Passenger to Mac OS X Leopard Server

    - by Meltemi
    I'm spinning my wheels... Apache is working and serving static html, png, etc. normally. Trying to get Passenger to serve a rails app out of www.mydomain.com/rails/ as it stands when i try to hit my app: www.mydomain.com/rails/myapp/railsclassname I get only an Apache 403 Errors. Nothing in myapp's Production Log. Apache2 access.log: "GET /rails/ HTTP/1.1" 403 1085 Apache2 error.log: [Fri Jun 11 22:44:01 2010] [error] [client 10.0.1.41] File does not exist: /Library/WebServer/wwwroot/rails/railsclassname i've even tried www.mydomain.com/myapp/classname Passenger, obviously, isn't routing requests made into my sub-folder rails/ to my rails app. not sure where i've screwed up. the most obvious thing is "Passenger doesn't seem to be running"... instructions I've followed just say to sudo apachectl graceful, which i've done (as well as stopped/started). new to this so go easy on me! Here's some info that might be helpful. happy to provide more as needed... As per some instruction @ Passenger site i've created a symlink from /Library/WebServer/myapp/rails - /Library/WebServer/rails/myapp/public myhost:myapp joe$ passenger-config --root /Library/Ruby/Gems/1.8/gems/passenger-2.2.14 myhost:myapp joe$ passenger-status ERROR: Phusion Passenger doesn't seem to be running. apollo:myapp joe$ cat /etc/httpd/httpd.conf ... <removed for brevity> ... # Copied From Passenger Installer LoadModule passenger_module /Library/Ruby/Gems/1.8/gems/passenger-2.2.14/ext/apache2/mod_passenger.so PassengerRoot /Library/Ruby/Gems/1.8/gems/passenger-2.2.14 PassengerRuby /System/Library/Frameworks/Ruby.framework/Versions/1.8/usr/bin/ruby # End Passenger Installer NameVirtualHost * <VirtualHost *:80> ServerName www.mydomain.com DocumentRoot /Library/WebServer/rails/myapp/public # <-- be sure to point to 'public'! • ASIHttpRequest problems. "unrecognized selector sent to instance"

It is meant to retrieve a XML Plist from a server, parse it and use the data... but it dies at the rackDone: Does anybody have any ideas? Regards, Paul Peelen

  • Rail test case fixtures not loading

    - by Deano
    Rails appears to not be loading any fixtures for unit or functional tests. I have a simple 'products.yml' that parses and appears correct: ruby: title: Programming Ruby 1.9 description: Ruby is the fastest growing and most exciting dynamic language out there. If you need to get working programs delivered fast, you should add Ruby to your toolbox. price: 49.50 image_url: ruby.png My controller functional test begins with: require 'test_helper' class ProductsControllerTest < ActionController::TestCase fixtures :products setup do @product = products(:one) @update = { :title => 'Lorem Ipsum' , :description => 'Wibbles are fun!' , :image_url => 'lorem.jpg' , :price => 19.95 } end According to the book, Rails should "magically" load the fixtures (as my test_helper.rb has fixtures :all in it. I also added the explicit fixtures load (seen above). Yes Rails complains: user @ host ~/Dropbox/Rails/depot > rake test:functionals (in /Somewhere/Users/user/Dropbox/Rails/depot) /System/Library/Frameworks/Ruby.framework/Versions/1.8/usr/bin/ruby -Ilib:test "/System/Library/Frameworks/Ruby.framework/Versions/1.8/usr/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/rake-0.8.3/lib/rake/rake_test_loader.rb" "test/functional/products_controller_test.rb" Loaded suite /System/Library/Frameworks/Ruby.framework/Versions/1.8/usr/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/rake-0.8.3/lib/rake/rake_test_loader Started EEEEEEE Finished in 0.062506 seconds. 1) Error: test_should_create_product(ProductsControllerTest): NoMethodError: undefined method `products' for ProductsControllerTest:Class /test/functional/products_controller_test.rb:7 2) Error: test_should_destroy_product(ProductsControllerTest): NoMethodError: undefined method `products' for ProductsControllerTest:Class /test/functional/products_controller_test.rb:7 ... I did come across the other Rails test fixture question http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1547634/rails-unit-testing-doesnt-load-fixtures, but that leads to a plugin issue (something to do with the order of loading fixtures). BTW, I am developing on Mac OS X 10.6 with Rail 2.3.5 and Ruby 1.8.7, no additional plugins (beyond the base install). Any pointers on how to debug, why the magic of Rails appears to be failing here? Is it a version problem? Can I trace code into the libraries and find the answer? There are so many "mixin" modules I can't find where the fixtures method really lives.

  • Output Caching with IIS7 - How To for an dynamic aspx page?

    - by Lieven Cardoen
    I have a RetrieveBlob.aspx that gets some query string variables and returns an asset. Eeach url corresponds to a unique asset. In the RetrieveBlob.aspx a Cache Profile is set. In Web.Config the profile looks like (under system.web tag: <caching> <outputCache enableOutputCache="true" /> <outputCacheSettings> <outputCacheProfiles> <add duration="14800" enabled="true" varyByParam="*" name="AssetCacheProfile" /> </outputCacheProfiles> </outputCacheSettings> </caching> Ok, this works fine. When I put a breakpoint in the code behind of RetrieveBlob.aspx, it gets triggered the first time, and all the other times not. Now, I throw away the Cache Profile and instead I'm having this in my Web.Config under System.WebServer: <caching> <profiles> <add extension=".swf" policy="CacheForTimePeriod" kernelCachePolicy="CacheForTimePeriod" duration="00:08:00" /> <add extension=".flv" policy="CacheForTimePeriod" kernelCachePolicy="CacheForTimePeriod" duration="00:08:00" /> <add extension=".gif" policy="CacheForTimePeriod" kernelCachePolicy="CacheForTimePeriod" duration="00:08:00" /> <add extension=".png" policy="CacheForTimePeriod" kernelCachePolicy="CacheForTimePeriod" duration="00:08:00" /> <add extension=".mp3" policy="CacheForTimePeriod" kernelCachePolicy="CacheForTimePeriod" duration="00:08:00" /> <add extension=".jpeg" policy="CacheForTimePeriod" kernelCachePolicy="CacheForTimePeriod" duration="00:08:00" /> <add extension=".jpg" policy="CacheForTimePeriod" kernelCachePolicy="CacheForTimePeriod" duration="00:08:00" /> </profiles> </caching> Now the caching doesn't work anymore. What am I doing wrong? Is it possible to configure under Caching tag of System.WebServer a Caching Profile for a Dynamic aspx page? I already tried adding something like this: <add extension="RetrieveBlob.aspx" policy="CacheForTimePeriod" kernelCachePolicy="CacheForTimePeriod" duration="00:00:30" varyByQueryString="assetId, assetFileId" /> But it doesn't work. An example of an url is: http://{server}/{application}/trunk/RetrieveBlob.aspx?assetId=31809&assetFileId=11829

  • WPF - How do I get an object that is bound to a ListBoxItem back

    - by JonBlumfeld
    Hi there here is what I would like to do. I get a List of objects from a database and bind this list to a ListBox Control. The ListBoxItems consist of a textbox and a button. Here is what I came up with. Up to this point it works as intended. The object has a number of Properties like ID, Name. If I click on the button in the ListBoxItem the Item should be erased from the ListBox and also from the database... <ListBox x:Name="taglistBox"> <ListBox.ItemContainerStyle> <Style TargetType="{x:Type ListBoxItem}"> <Setter Property="HorizontalAlignment" Value="Stretch"/> <Setter Property="Template"> <Setter.Value> <ControlTemplate TargetType="ListBoxItem"> <ContentPresenter HorizontalAlignment="Stretch"/> </ControlTemplate> </Setter.Value> </Setter> <Setter Property="Tag" Value="{Binding TagSelf}"></Setter> </Style> </ListBox.ItemContainerStyle> <ListBox.ItemTemplate> <DataTemplate> <Grid HorizontalAlignment="Stretch"> <Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <ColumnDefinition Width="Auto"/> <ColumnDefinition/> </Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <Button Grid.Column="0" Name="btTag" VerticalAlignment="Center" Click="btTag_Click" HorizontalAlignment="Left"> <Image Width="16" Height="16" Source="/WpfApplication1;component/Resources/104.png"/> </Button> <TextBlock Name="tbtagBoxTagItem" Margin="5" Grid.Column="1" Text="{Binding Name}" VerticalAlignment="Center" /> </Grid> </DataTemplate> </ListBox.ItemTemplate> </ListBox> The Textblock.Text is bound to object.Name and the ListBoxItem.Tag to object.TagSelf (which is just a copy of the object itself). Now my questions If I click the button in the listboxItem how do I get the listboxitem and the object bound to it back. In order to delete the object from the database I have to retrieve it somehow. I tried something like ListBoxItem lbi1 = (ListBoxItem)(taglistBox.ItemContainerGenerator.ContainerFromItem(taglistBox.Items.CurrentItem)); ObjectInQuestion t = (ObjectInQuestion) lbi1.Tag; Is there a way to automatically update the contents of the ListBox if the Itemssource changes? Right now I'm achieving that by taglistBox.ItemsSource = null; taglistBox.ItemsSource = ObjectInQuestion; I'd appreciate any help you can give :D Thanks in advance

    - by Gordon Fontenot
    I have the following method in UIImageManipulation.m: +(UIImage *)scaleImage:(UIImage *)source toSize:(CGSize)size { UIImage *scaledImage = nil; if (source != nil) { UIGraphicsBeginImageContext(size); [source drawInRect:CGRectMake(0, 0, size.width, size.height)]; scaledImage = UIGraphicsGetImageFromCurrentImageContext(); UIGraphicsEndImageContext(); } return scaledImage; } I am calling it in a different view with: imageFromFile = [UIImageManipulator scaleImage:imageFromFile toSize:imageView.frame.size]; (imageView is a UIImageView allocated earlier) This is working great in my code. I resizes the image perfectly, and throws zero errors. I also don't have anything pop up under build - analyze. But the second I turn on NSZombieEnabled to debug a different EXC_BAD_ACCESS issue, the code breaks. Every single time. I can turn NSZombieEnabled off, code runs great. I turn it on, and boom. Broken. I comment out the call, and it works again. Every single time, it gives me an error in the console: -[UIImage release]: message sent to deallocated instance 0x3b1d600. This error doesn't appear if `NSZombieEnabled is turned off. Any ideas? --EDIT-- Ok, This is killing me. I have stuck breakpoints everywhere I can, and I still cannot get a hold of this thing. Here is the full code when I call the scaleImage method: -(void)setupImageButton { UIImage *imageFromFile; if (object.imageAttribute == nil) { imageFromFile = [UIImage imageNamed:@"no-image.png"]; } else { imageFromFile = object.imageAttribute; } UIImage *scaledImage = [UIImageManipulator scaleImage:imageFromFile toSize:imageButton.frame.size]; UIImage *roundedImage = [UIImageManipulator makeRoundCornerImage:scaledImage :10 :10 withBorder:YES]; [imageButton setBackgroundImage:roundedImage forState:UIControlStateNormal]; } The other UIImageManipulator method (makeRoundCornerImage) shouldn't be causing the error, but just in case I'm overlooking something, I threw the entire file up on github here. It's something about this method though. Has to be. If I comment it out, it works great. If I leave it in, Error. But it doesn't throw errors with NSZombieEnabled turned off ever.

  • Adding simple marker clusterer to google map

    - by take2
    Hi, I'm having problems with adding marker clusterer functionality to my map. What I want is to use custom icon for my markers and every marker has its own info window which I want to be able to edit. I did accomplish that, but now I have problems adding marker clusterer library functionality. I read something about adding markers to array, but I'm not sure what would it exactly mean. Besides, all of the examples with array I have found, don't have info windows and searching through the code I didn't find appropriate way to add them. Here is my code (mostly from Geocodezip.com): <script type="text/javascript" src="http://maps.google.com/maps/api/js?sensor=false"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://google-maps-utility-library-v3.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/markerclusterer/src/markerclusterer.js"></script> <style type="text/css"> html, body { height: 100%; } </style> <script type="text/javascript"> //<![CDATA[ var map = null; function initialize() { var myOptions = { zoom: 8, center: new google.maps.LatLng(43.907787,-79.359741), mapTypeControl: true, mapTypeControlOptions: {style: google.maps.MapTypeControlStyle.DROPDOWN_MENU}, navigationControl: true, mapTypeId: google.maps.MapTypeId.ROADMAP } map = new google.maps.Map(document.getElementById("map_canvas"), myOptions); var mcOptions = {gridSize: 50, maxZoom: 15}; var mc = new MarkerClusterer(map, [], mcOptions); google.maps.event.addListener(map, 'click', function() { infowindow.close(); }); // Add markers to the map // Set up three markers with info windows var point = new google.maps.LatLng(43.65654,-79.90138); var marker1 = createMarker(point,'Abc'); var point = new google.maps.LatLng(43.91892,-78.89231); var marker2 = createMarker(point,'Abc'); var point = new google.maps.LatLng(43.82589,-79.10040); var marker3 = createMarker(point,'Abc'); var markerArray = new Array(marker1, marker2, marker3); mc.addMarkers(markerArray, true); } var infowindow = new google.maps.InfoWindow( { size: new google.maps.Size(150,50) }); function createMarker(latlng, html) { var image = '/321.png'; var contentString = html; var marker = new google.maps.Marker({ position: latlng, map: map, icon: image, zIndex: Math.round(latlng.lat()*-100000)<<5 }); google.maps.event.addListener(marker, 'click', function() { infowindow.setContent(contentString); infowindow.open(map,marker); }); } //]]> </script>

  • Drawing a texture with an alpha channel doesn't work -- draws black

    - by DevDevDev
    I am modifying GLPaint to use a different background, so in this case it is white. Anyway the existing stamp they are using assumes the background is black, so I made a new background with an alpha channel. When I draw on the canvas it is still black, what gives? When I actually draw, I just bind the texture and it works. Something is wrong in this initialization. Here is the photo - (id)initWithCoder:(NSCoder*)coder { CGImageRef brushImage; CGContextRef brushContext; GLubyte *brushData; size_t width, height; if (self = [super initWithCoder:coder]) { CAEAGLLayer *eaglLayer = (CAEAGLLayer *)self.layer; eaglLayer.opaque = YES; // In this application, we want to retain the EAGLDrawable contents after a call to presentRenderbuffer. eaglLayer.drawableProperties = [NSDictionary dictionaryWithObjectsAndKeys: [NSNumber numberWithBool:YES], kEAGLDrawablePropertyRetainedBacking, kEAGLColorFormatRGBA8, kEAGLDrawablePropertyColorFormat, nil]; context = [[EAGLContext alloc] initWithAPI:kEAGLRenderingAPIOpenGLES1]; if (!context || ![EAGLContext setCurrentContext:context]) { [self release]; return nil; } // Create a texture from an image // First create a UIImage object from the data in a image file, and then extract the Core Graphics image brushImage = [UIImage imageNamed:@"test.png"].CGImage; // Get the width and height of the image width = CGImageGetWidth(brushImage); height = CGImageGetHeight(brushImage); // Texture dimensions must be a power of 2. • Convert UIViews made programmatically to UIScrollViews

    - by Scott
    So I have a bunch of UIViews that I made programmatically and placed a bunch of content on (UIButtons, UILabels, UINavigationBars, etc.), and most of these views are going to need to actually be UIScrollViews instead. Now keep in mind I made all these through code not the Interface Builder. What I first tried was to just change each declaration of a UIView to a UIScrollView instead, and that compiled and ran fine, however, they were not scrollable. It's REALLY weird. Here is the code that I change into UIScrollViews, although it doesn't scroll: - (void)loadView { //allocate the view self.view = [[UIScrollView alloc] initWithFrame:[[UIScreen mainScreen] applicationFrame]]; //self.view = [[UIView alloc] initWithFrame:[[UIScreen mainScreen] applicationFrame]]; //set the view's background color self.view.backgroundColor = [[UIColor alloc] initWithPatternImage:[UIImage imageNamed:@"MainBG.jpg"]]; [self.view addSubview:[SiteOneController myNavBar1:@"Sites"]]; NSMutableArray *sites = [[NSMutableArray alloc] init]; NSString *one = @"Constution Center"; NSString *two = @"Franklin Court"; NSString *three = @"Presidents House"; [sites addObject: one]; [one release]; [sites addObject: two]; [two release]; [sites addObject: three]; [three release]; NSString *element; int j = 0; for (element in sites) { UIButton *button = [UIButton buttonWithType:UIButtonTypeCustom]; UIFont *myBoldFont = [UIFont boldSystemFontOfSize:20.0]; UILabel *label = [[UILabel alloc] initWithFrame:CGRectMake(20, b + (j*45), c, d)]; [label setBackgroundColor:[UIColor clearColor]]; label.text = element; label.font = myBoldFont; UIImage *img = [UIImage imageNamed:@"ButtonBase.png"]; [button setImage:img forState:UIControlStateNormal]; //setframe (where on screen) //separation is 15px past the width (45-30) button.frame = CGRectMake(a, b + (j*45), c, d); // [button setTitle:element forState:UIControlStateNormal]; button.backgroundColor = [SiteOneController myColor1]; [button addTarget:self action:@selector(showCCView:) forControlEvents:UIControlEventTouchUpInside]; [button setTag:j]; [self.view addSubview: button]; [self.view addSubview:label]; j++; } } What am I doing wrong?

  • jQuery Validate() special function

    - by kevin
    I'm using the jQuery validate() plugin for some forms and it goes great. The only thing is that I have an input field that requires a special validation process. Here is how it goes: The jQuery validate plugin is called in the domready for all the required fields. Here is an example for an input: <li> <label for="nome">Nome completo*</label> <input name="nome" type="text" id="nome" class="required"/> </li> And here is how I call my special function: <li> <span id="sprytextfield1"> <label for="cpf">CPF* (xxxxxxxxxxx)</label> <input name="cpf" type="text" id="cpf" maxlength="15" class="required" /> <span class="textfieldInvalidFormatMsg">CPF Inv&aacute;lido.</span> </span> </li> And at the bottom of the file I call the Spry function: <script type="text/javascript"> <!-- var sprytextfield1 = new Spry.Widget.ValidationTextField("sprytextfield1","cpf"); //--> </script> Of course I call the Spry CSS and JavaScript files in the head section as well as my special-validate.js. When I just use the jQuery validate() plugin and click on the send button, the page goes automatically back to the first mistaken input field and shows the error type (not a number, not a valid email etc.). But with this new function, this "going-back-to-the-first-mistake" feature doesn't work, of course, because the validate() function sees it all good. I already added a rule for another form (about pictures upload) and it goes like this: $("#commentForm").validate({ rules: { foto34: { required: true, accept: "jpg|png|gif" } } }); Now my question is, how can I add the special validation function as a rule of the whole validation process? Here is the page to understand it better: link text and the special field is the first one: CPF. I hope I was clear explaining my problem.

  • GET request in AJAX-retrieved HTML

    - by ufw
    There is some HTML code which appears on the page as the result of AJAX request/response. This HTML contains GET requests to another php script. Links containing this requests are not working while "real" HTML (added on the page manually) works normally. When I open the page source with Ctrl+U I see empty div's (but they actually have HTML retrieved via AJAX) and the full-fledged HTML code added manually. Can't figure out how can I make the AJAX-retrieved links working. This is how I try to form the HTML code which must be added to the page as the result of AJAX response. <?php //some selections from the database... //all subsequent varibles are the members of $row=(mysql_fetch_array($query)) array; $html_to_be_inactive = '<li id="productID_' . $productID . '"> <a href=work.php?action=deleteFromBasket&productID=' . $productID . ' onClick="return false;"> <img src="images/delete.png" id="deleteProductID_' . $productID . '"> </a> ' . $productName . '(' . $totalItems . ' items) - $' . ($totalItems * $productPrice) . '</li>'; echo $html_to_be_inactive; ?> And that is it, result of 'echo' appears on the page after successful AJAX request as the simple HTML, and it does nothing when I click the link. I do not perform DOM 'append' methods as I'm not familiar with DOM yet. I can see all the elements mentioned in $thml_to_be_inactive but the link seems to be really inactive. Also this HTML is absent in the "Ctrl+U" output, I can see it only when I select "Inspect element" in the browser. The HTML which was added manually operates the same items as usual, but I need AJAX-retrieved HTML to be working as well. I suspect I need to perform some 'append' method via JavaScript or jQuery, but I don't know how to do it in a proper way. Thanks.

  • $.ajax post to PHP mail() using jQuery doesn't work

    - by Vian Esterhuizen
    Hey, I looked around on SO and Google, but couldn't really find a solution. Could someone please explain to me why this doesn't work? This is my first time using AJAX to submit a form. $.ajax({ type: "POST", url: "<?php bloginfo('template_url'); ?>/email.php", data: dataString, success: function() { $('#contact_form').html("<div id='message'></div>"); $('#message').html("<h2>Contact Form Submitted!</h2>") .append("<p>We will be in touch soon.</p>") .hide() .fadeIn(1500, function() { $('#message').append("<img id='checkmark' src='images/check.png' />"); }); } }); and <?php $name=$_POST['name']; $email=$_POST['email']; $phone=$_POST['phone']; $subject=$_POST['subject']; $message=$_POST['message']; $quote=$_POST['quote']; $to="[email protected]"; $body="<p>From: ".$name." <".$email."><br />"; $body.="Phone: ".$phone."<br />"; $body.="Project: ".$subject."<br />"; $body.="Quote: ".$quote."</p>"; $body.="<p>Message:<br /> ".$message."</p>"; $headers = "MIME-Version: 1.0" . "\r\n"; $headers .= "From: ".$name."<".$email.">\r\n"; $headers .= "Reply-To: ".$name."<".$email.">\r\n"; $subject="New message from FloorShop.ca about \"".$subject."\""; @mail($to,$subject,$body,$headers); echo $name,$email,$phone,$subject,$message,$quote; ?

  • pager problem with drupal and taxonomy

    - by andersandersson666
    Ok, so this is probably a silly question, but i thought i'd put it out there anyway: I know it's a strange solution to a simple problem, but i needed to control the listing of the nodes in the taxonomy pages, which i didn't feel i got the traditional way. So i went ahead and created a module that fetches the nodes based on taxonomy (taxonomy_select_nodes()), and i wanted a pager to go along with that. Here's the code: function theModule_recipeList(){ $path = drupal_get_path_alias($_GET['q']); $args = explode("/",$path); $themePath = drupal_get_path("theme", "theTheme"); $term = taxonomy_get_term_by_name($args[1]); $tid = $term[0]->tid; $nodes = taxonomy_select_nodes(array($tid)); $output = "<div id='recipeListWrapper'>"; while($row = db_fetch_object($nodes)){ $node = node_load($row->nid); if($node->uid != 1){ $userClass="user"; } else{ $userClass="admin"; } $output .= " <div class='receptThumbnailWrapper'> <div class='wrapper'> <img src='".base_path().$themePath."/graphics/recept-default-small.png' /> <h3><a href='".base_path() . $node->path."'>".$node->title."</a></h3> <div class='recipeType $userClass'></div> </div> </div> "; } $output .= "</div>"; return $output; } Now, the module works as i planned and all (even though it is a duct tape sort of solution, i know), and the pager prints and works. The problem is that the pager prints before anything else. I suspect that it is because i call taxonomy_select_nodes before $output is returned, but i need it to get the nodes i want. Please, any suggestions is greatly appreciated. /Anders

  • HLSL tex2d sampler seemingly returning incorrect values; why?

    - by BlueNovember
    Hello all, I have code that needs to render regions of my object differently depending on their location. I am trying to use a colour map to define these regions, then get a value (0-14) representing this region by sampling the texture. The problem is when I sample from my colour map, I get collisions. Ie, two regions with different colours in the colourmap get the same value returned from the sampler. I've tried various formats of my colour map. I set the colours for each region to be "5" apart in each case; Indexed colour RGB, RGBA: region 1 will have RGB 5,5,5. region 2 will have RGB 10,10,10 and so on. HSV Greyscale: region 1 will have HSV 0,0,5. region 2 will have HSV 0,0,10 and so on. The tex2D sampler returns a value [0..1]. To get the "region number" I multiply this by 100 and divide by 5, expecting a number [0..20]. (But currently only using 0-14) I am using Shader Model 2 and FX Composer. //Colour map texture gColourmapTexture < string ResourceName = "Globe_Colourmap_Regions_Greyscale.png"; string ResourceType = "2D"; >; sampler2D gColourmapSampler : register(s1) = sampler_state { Texture = <gColourmapTexture>; #if DIRECT3D_VERSION >= 0xa00 Filter = MIN_MAG_MIP_LINEAR; #else /* DIRECT3D_VERSION < 0xa00 */ MinFilter = Linear; MipFilter = Linear; MagFilter = Linear; #endif /* DIRECT3D_VERSION */ AddressU = Clamp; AddressV = Clamp; }; ... //Then later, in a method float region = tex2D(gColourmapSampler,In.UV).x; //at this point I do not think it matters which of xyz components I pick; even in HSV they're all the same for my image. region *= 100; //Now in range [0..100] region /= 5; //Now in range [0..20] float3 levels[21]; //*Code populating "levels" array with what is essentially colour information * levels[1] = ... levels[2] = ... //Chose which level this region has, by looking up its region number float3 Level = levels[region];

  • How do I construct a Django reverse/url using query args?

    - by Andrew Dalke
    I have URLs like http://example.com/depict?smiles=CO&width=200&height=200 (and with several other optional arguments) My urls.py contains: urlpatterns = patterns('', (r'^$', 'cansmi.index'), (r'^cansmi$', 'cansmi.cansmi'), url(r'^depict$', cyclops.django.depict, name="cyclops-depict"), I can go to that URL and get the 200x200 PNG that was constructed, so I know that part works. In my template from the "cansmi.cansmi" response I want to construct a URL for the named template "cyclops-depict" given some query parameters. I thought I could do {% url cyclops-depict smiles=input_smiles width=200 height=200 %} where "input_smiles" is an input to the template via a form submission. In this case it's the string "CO" and I thought it would create a URL like the one at top. This template fails with a TemplateSyntaxError: Caught an exception while rendering: Reverse for 'cyclops-depict' with arguments '()' and keyword arguments '{'smiles': u'CO', 'height': 200, 'width': 200}' not found. This is a rather common error message both here on StackOverflow and elsewhere. In every case I found, people were using them with parameters in the URL path regexp, which is not the case I have where the parameters go into the query. That means I'm doing it wrong. How do I do it right? That is, I want to construct the full URL, including path and query parameters, using something in the template. For reference, % python manage.py shell Python 2.6.1 (r261:67515, Feb 11 2010, 00:51:29) [GCC 4.2.1 (Apple Inc. build 5646)] on darwin Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information. • Google maps API : V2 : Custom infowindow with bindInfoWindowHtml

    - by PlanetUnknown
    The API documentation gave me hopes last night with "bindInfoWindowHtml". But it doesn't seem to replace the default infoWindow, even when you provide your own class etc. I have tried using other ideas like the labeledmarker. But it doesn't support draggable markers. Hence can't use it in my application. Here is the sample code which shows the info. window inside, the original bubble. Isn't there a way to override that window as well ! ` <style type="text/css"> .infoWindowCustomClass { width: 500px; height: 500px; background-color: #CAEE96; color: #666; } </style> <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"/> <title>Google Maps JavaScript API Example</title> <script src="http://maps.google.com/maps?file=api&amp;v=2&amp;sensor=false&amp;key="" type="text/javascript"></script> <script type="text/javascript"> function load() { if (GBrowserIsCompatible()) { // Create our "tiny" marker icon var blueIcon = new GIcon(G_DEFAULT_ICON); blueIcon.image = "http://www.google.com/intl/en_us/mapfiles/ms/micons/blue-dot.png"; // Set up our GMarkerOptions object markerOptions = { icon:blueIcon }; var map = new GMap2(document.getElementById("map")); map.setCenter(new GLatLng(33.968064,-83.377047), 13); markerOptions.title = "fart"; var point = new GLatLng(33.968064,-83.377047); var marker = new GMarker(point); var tempName = document.getElementById("infoWindowCustom"); marker.bindInfoWindowHtml(tempName); map.addOverlay(marker); } } </script>` And here is the DIV - <DIV id="infoWindowCustom" name="infoWindowCustom" class="infoWindowCustomClass"> Name : <TEXTAREA NAME="nameID" ID="nameID" ROWS="2" COLS="25"></TEXTAREA> Comments : <TEXTAREA NAME="commentsID" ID="commentsID" ROWS="4" COLS="25"></TEXTAREA> </DIV>
