• Correct way to replace CHeaderCtrl with custom version in a CListCtrl

  CListCtrl has a CHeaderCtrl 'built-in' and we want to override it with something customized, i.e a class which derives from CHeaderCtrl. What's the best/correct way to do this, assuming we have a dialog CMyDlg which contains a CListCtrl m_List, and a custom header CCustomHeader.

• Printing problem

  Hi there, Time to ask an odd question. window.print(); Prints only one page of 2 pages in IE8 & IE7 even the same prints both pages in FF. Now if I cancel the print dialog and just go to File - Print I get both pages in both IE & FF. window.print(); is included in ONLOAD Any idea why? Thanks Babak

  If I have a XAML window that I show with ShowDialog, is there a way to make it (not) appear in the taskbar? The problem is that I can set the window to be topmost but if that window opens another dialog and I set that also to be topmost, I can put the second behind the first by clicking in the taskbar. While editing PHP file I choose Refactor-Rename menu or a rename hotkey and Eclipse doesn't offer me to rename a variable, instead a rename file dialog appears. • Java Robot class and UAC

  I am using the Java Robot class to take screenshots, my problem is that in W7 when the UAC dialog is shown (i right click on any application and select run as Admin) it will not appear in the screen shot or the whole screen is just black. Running my application with admin rights or as a service does not solve the problem. Please, does any one know what to do so that i will be able to capture the screen even when the UAC is showing? The issue arrives when I want to ignore "The ", "A ", "An " and other various non-alphanumeric characters (Talking to you "Weird Al" Yankovic and [dialog]). Django has a nice start '^(An?|The) +' but I want to ignore those and a few others of my choice. I am doing this in Django, using a MySQL db with utf8_bin collation.

  I am trying to develop an Facebook application (apps.facebook.com/some_app) using PHP where I need to present some information based on user's music interests. I found that its under "user_likes games". My problems are as follows: To gain access, I have implemented the oauth dialog method as suggested in API in my index page. $auth_url = "http://www.facebook.com/dialog/oauth?client_id=" . $app_id . "&redirect_uri=" . urlencode($canvas_page) ."&scope=user_likes"; After successful authorization I come back to index page with "code" as parameters. http://MY_CANVAS_PAGE/?code=some base64 encoded letters Firstly I don't know if I need access_token just to read user's music interests but I have tried all the methods suggested.   I have a web app that has several tree views. When the page loads i see the unordered lists and after a small latency the styling of the tree is rendered into the DOM. Is there a way to mask the webapp, and have a spinner in the middle of the screen, and when everything on the page is fully rendered the spinner goes away and the mask fades out? Kind of like a semi transparent mask that you would see on a lightbox pop-up dialog.

  I am trying to launch an appstore page with either of the calls: [[UIApplication sharedApplication] openURL:[NSURL URLWithString:@"http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/myappname/id999999999?mt=8"]]; [[UIApplication sharedApplication] openURL:[NSURL URLWithString:@"http://www.itunes.com/apps/myappname"]]; Both of these urls work when I enter them in a browser. However, from both simulator and device, I get a "Your request could not be completed" error dialog right after it appears to try to launch the appstore. Is there something obvious that I'm doing wrong?

• Customising the .NET PrintPreviewDialog?

  Currently i'm using the PrintPreviewDialog to open a window to preview the printed pages before they are sent to a printer. The problem is though that it first appears very small, at the top left of the screen and the buttons are too small. Is there anyway i can set a starting size for this dialog or start position or even make the little buttons a little bigger? Or do i need to implement my own?
