  • Is there a way to keep two videos synchronized in a webpage without plugins?

    Is there a way to use two HTML5 video tags on a page and keep the videos synchronized? Meaning that if the first video is at 15.2 seconds then the second video is at 15.2 seconds? I've looked around and found SMIL but it looks like that only works in IE. I also tried to implement something of my own with jQuery and jMediaElement but there appears to be a lot of cases where the videos can get out of sync. Has this been done before?

    What I want to do is check an array of strings against my search string and get the corresponding key so I can store it. Is there a magical way of doing this with Perl, or am I doomed to using a loop? If so, what is the most efficient way to do this?     Hi, I am able to display any data (numbers) in Flex AdvancedDataGrid except data with lot of digits after decimal places (0.000000000029103830456733704) or exponential numbers (293E-17). Grid is displaying -17 instead of 293E-17. Is it happening because of any limit to displaying data range in grid? If yes, what is the limit? Thanks in advance ... Atul

  • PHP next MySQL row - how to move pointer until function checks true?

    I have a PHP script which takes a value from a row in my MySQL database, runs it through a function, and if it determines it's true returns one value, and if it's false, it needs to go to the next value in the database and check that one until eventually one returns true. I think I need to use mysql_fetch_assoc, but I'm not really sure in what way to use it... I wish I could post my code to be more specific, but it's a lot of code and most of it has no bearing on this issue...

    Working in a medium size project during last 4 months - we are using JPA and Spring - I'm quite sure that JPA is not powerfull for projects that requires more than CRUD screen... Query interface is poor, Hibernate doesn't respect JPA spec all the time and lot of times I need to use hibernate classes, annotations and config. What do you guys think about JPA? Is it not good enough?

    Hi, I'm creating an interactive e-book for the iPad. This book will contain multiple pages that will consist of a lot of animations (frame and motion animations), transitions,... I was wondering what my development options are, should I use OpenGL, Quartz,...? I've use UIImageView.animationImages before and found that it had really bad performance.
