    I got an example how to call oracle SP in iBATIS 3 without a map file. And now I understand how to call it.     I want to make console window with a functional tray icon. I figured out that most probably it is necessary to replace initial console's window procedure so I will be able to control all messages including notify area events. But SetWindowLong function returns 0, and GetLastError() tells that access is denied. hwndFound = GetConsoleWindow(); SetWindowLong(hwndFound, GWL_WNDPROC, (long)WndProc); What could it be, or maybe there is some other way to control tray icon manipulations?

    I recieve the following error when I try to configure SharePoint 2010 Server: "Cannot connect to the database master at SQL server at [computer.domain]. The database might not exist, or the current user does not have permission to connect to it."   • Is ODBC on Windows 2003 slower than on Windows 7?

    I am seeing some MSSQL 2005 performance issues, and I am trying to diagnose the cause. I am using SQL profiler to gather query execution times. Both the client (using ODBC), and the SQL server are running on Windows 2003. I am also using Windows 7 (client) with a different Windows 2003 server to compare results. Windows 7 client / Windows 2003 server: SQL management studio: 393ms Through ODBC: 215ms Windows 2003 client: SQL management studio: approx 155ms Through ODBC: 3145ms ... in both cases, I'm running SQL management studio on the client. To me, these figures suggest there's something wrong with the ODBC client on the Windows 2003 server. On Windows, I see that the ODBC "SQL Server" driver is version 6.01.7600.16385 but on Windows 2003, it is 2000.86.3959.00 (by default). Could this be the problem? Is it possible to update an ODBC driver?

    I am trying to use encfs in reverse mode. I understand that the passphase is used to encrypt a key which is then stored encrypted into the encfs6.xml file. What I do not understand is the following. Create en encrypted virtual fs of a folder by using passphrase A unmount this folder. Delete all contents including the encfs6.xml file If you then try to do the same with another passphrse I would expect that a new encfs6.xml would be created. However I get the following error message: "Error decoding volume key, password incorrect" So I wonder, what volume key is incorrect, I thought it was in the encfs6.xml file ?

    With Outlook before the 2010 version, it was possible to specify any path for the signatures. With Outlook 2010, the only way is to use those stored into C:\Documents and Setting\UserName\Local Settings\Application Datas\Microsoft\Signature\ I'd like to point the signatures to a network share. Allowing us to modify the signatures into the share, instead of login on every computers each time we are asked to modify them (and this is quite often because the signatures contain logos about current events). We currently use a script to copy the signatures from the share to the local disk when users login. Question: How to set Outlook 2010 to use signatures outside of the default signature folder ?

The specified report server URL http://localhost/Reports could not be found. Verify the syntax of the URL and that the report server exists. I went to see my "services".... SQL Server (SQLEXPRESS) is "started", but SQL Server (MSSQLSERVER) is not.
