  • Running Best Practice Analyzer on Windows 2012 yields error "Result file has not yet been generated"

    - by mhildreth
    Whenever I run the Best Practice Analyzer on a Windows 2012 server with IIS installed, I receive the error: "There has been a Best Practice Analyzer error for Model Id 'Microsoft/Windows/WebServer'. The Result file has not yet been generated. Please perform the scan first and try again." I'm doing this from the "Local Server" section of the Server Manager. I'm logged in as with a domain credential that has administrative rights on the server. I don't know how to generate the result file or where it would be located. I have 4 servers, all with IIS and this is happening on all of them. The servers are practically brand new so there isn't anything really exceptional about their setup. Any suggestions on how to generate the result file? Thanks in advance.

  • Getting results in a result set from dynamic SQL in Oracle

    - by msorens
    This question is similar to a couple others I have found on StackOverflow, but the differences are signficant enough to me to warrant a new question, so here it is: I want to obtain a result set from dynamic SQL in Oracle and then display it as a result set in a SqlDeveloper-like tool, just as if I had executed the dynamic SQL statement directly. This is straightforward in SQL Server, so to be concrete, here is an example from SQL Server that returns a result set in SQL Server Management Studio or Query Explorer: EXEC sp_executesql N'select * from countries' Or more properly: DECLARE @stmt nvarchar(100) SET @stmt = N'select * from countries' EXEC sp_executesql @stmt The question "How to return a resultset / cursor from a Oracle PL/SQL anonymous block that executes Dynamic SQL?" addresses the first half of the problem--executing dynamic SQL into a cursor. The question "How to make Oracle procedure return result sets" provides a similar answer. Web search has revealed many variations of the same theme, all addressing just the first half of my question. I found this post explaining how to do it in SqlDeveloper, but that uses a bit of functionality of SqlDeveloper. I am actually using a custom query tool so I need the solution to be self-contained in the SQL code. This custom query tool similarly does not have the capability to show output of print (dbms_output.put_line) statements; it only displays result sets. Here is yet one more possible avenue using 'execute immediate...bulk collect', but this example again renders the results with a loop of dbms_output.put_line statements. This link attempts to address the topic but the question never quite got answered there either. Assuming this is possible, I will add one more condition: I would like to do this without having to define a function or procedure (due to limited DB permissions). That is, I would like to execute a self-contained PL/SQL block containing dynamic SQL and return a result set in SqlDeveloper or a similar tool. So to summarize: I want to execute an arbitrary SQL statement (hence dynamic SQL). The platform is Oracle. The solution must be a PL/SQL block with no procedures or functions. The output must be generated as a canonical result set; no print statements. The output must render as a result set in SqlDeveloper without using any SqlDeveloper special functionality. Any suggestions?

  • Looping an executable to get the result from Python script

    - by fx
    In my python script, I need to call within a for loop an executable, and waiting for that executable to write the result on the "output.xml". How do I manage to use wait() & how do I know when one of my executable is finished generating the result to get the result? How do I close that process and open a new one to call again the executable and wait for the new result? import subprocess args = ("bin/bar") popen = subprocess.Popen(args) I need to wait for the output from "bin/bar" to generate the "output.xml" and from there, read it's content. for index, result in enumerate(results): myModule.callSubProcess(index) #this is where the problem is. fileOutput = open("output.xml") parseAndStoreInSQLiteFileOutput(index, file)

  • Convert executed SQL result to a list of Model object

    - by huynq9
    I'm wondering that is it possible to convert the executed query result to a list of models. I'm using Ruby with ActiveRecord and need to execute custom SQL query to join two or many tables. The code looks like below: connection = ActiveRecord::Base.connection sql = "select T1.f1, T2.f2 from T1 left join T2 on T1.id = T2.id" @result = connection.execute(sql) In Ruby code, I defined a models to manage the executed SQL result: class Model property :f1, :f2 end Is there any way to convert @result to list of Model object? so I can deal with each item in the list as following @result.each do |item| puts item.f1 puts item.f2 end

  • Change div backgroung color base on result from servlet using jquery

  • Get result from mysql orderd by IN clause

    - by SchlaWiener
    I have the following query SELECT * FROM invoice WHERE invoice_id IN (13, 15, 9, 27) My result is: invoice_id | invoice_number | ... ------------------------------------ 9 | 201006003 | 13 | 201006020 | 15 | 201006022 | 27 | 201006035 | which is the result set I want except that is ordered by the invoice_id (which is an autoincrement value). Now I want the result in the order I specified in my query (13, 15, ...). Is there a way to achive that? The background is that I have a DataTable bound to a DataGridView. The user can filter and sort the result but if he want's to print the result I don't use the DataTable for printing because it only contains the most important columns and instead I pull the whole records from the database and pass it to my printing control. I also tried to extend the existing DataTable with the missing results but that seems to slower than using the IN (...) query.

  • Android Read contents of a URL (content missing after in result)

    - by josnidhin
    I have the following code that reads the content of a url public static String DownloadText(String url){ StringBuffer result = new StringBuffer(); try{ URL jsonUrl = new URL(url); InputStreamReader isr = new InputStreamReader(jsonUrl.openStream()); BufferedReader in = new BufferedReader(isr); String inputLine; while ((inputLine = in.readLine()) != null){ result.append(inputLine); } }catch(Exception ex){ result = new StringBuffer("TIMEOUT"); Log.e(Util.AppName, ex.toString()); } in.close(); isr.close(); return result.toString(); } The problem is I am missing content after 4065 characters in the result returned. Can someone help me solve this problem. Note: The url I am trying to read contains a json response so everything is in one line I think thats why I am having some content missing.

  • Write-error on swap-device, Result: hostbyte=DID_BAD_TARGET driverbyte=DRIVER_OK

    - by Jan
    My root server at 1&1 was unresponsive on HTTP and SSH, so I logged into the serial console . It flooded my connection with endless error messages like quoted below. I initiated a reboot and now everything seems to work properly. After googling, I installed smartctl and ran a short self test, which told me the device was healthy. Is this likely a disk failure soon to happen or could it be just some program going wild? I assume, the swap device could also grow full when huge amounts of memory get consumed by a buggy program? How can I find out for sure? The sever was already unresponsive a week ago when I just restarted it without proper investigation. The server is running on CentOS. • How to sort linq result by most similarity/equality

    - by aNui
    I want to do a search for Music instruments which has its informations Name, Category and Origin as I asked in my post. But now I want to sort/group the result by similarity/equality to the keyword such as. If I have the list { Drum, Grand Piano, Guitar, Guitarrón, Harp, Piano} << sorted by name and if I queried "p" the result should be { Piano, Grand Piano, Harp } but it shows Harp first because of the source list's sequence and if I add {Grand Piano} to the list and query "piano" the result shoud be like { Piano, Grand Piano } or query "guitar" it should be { Guitar, Guitarrón } here's my code static IEnumerable<MInstrument> InstrumentsSearch(IEnumerable<MInstrument> InstrumentsList, string query, MInstrument.Category[] SelectedCategories, MInstrument.Origin[] SelectedOrigins) { var result = InstrumentsList .Where(item => SelectedCategories.Contains(item.category)) .Where(item => SelectedOrigins.Contains(item.origin)) .Where(item => { if ( (" " + item.Name.ToLower()).Contains(" " + query.ToLower()) || item.Name.IndexOf(query) != -1 ) { return true; } return false; } ) .Take(30); return result.ToList<MInstrument>(); } Or the result may be like my old self-invented algorithm that I called "by order of occurence", that is just OK to me. And the further things to do is I need to search the Name, Category or Origin such as. If i type "Italy" it should found Piano or something from Italy. Or if I type "string" it should found Guitar. Is there any way to do those things, please tell me. Thanks in advance.

  • How do you handle the fetchxml result data?

    - by Luke Baulch
    I have avoided working with fetchxml as I have been unsure the best way to handle the result data after calling crmService.Fetch(fetchXml). In a couple of situations, I have used an XDocument with LINQ to retrieve the data from this data structure, such as: XDocument resultset = XDocument.Parse(_service.Fetch(fetchXml)); if (resultset.Root == null || !resultset.Root.Elements("result").Any()) { return; } foreach (var displayItem in resultset.Root.Elements("result").Select(item => item.Element(displayAttributeName)).Distinct()) { if (displayItem!= null && displayItem.Value != null) { dropDownList.Items.Add(displayItem.Value); } } What is the best way to handle fetchxml result data, so that it can be easily used. Applications such as passing these records into an ASP.NET datagrid would be quite useful.

  • UISearchDisplayController - how to display search result with only by scope button selected but empt

    - by billibala
    The UISearchDisplayController is very handy and implementing search is pretty straightforward. However, I bump into problem when, in my app, I want to display search result with empty search string but selected scope button. It seems like it's a must to enter some search string in order to get the search result table being initialized and displayed. Is there any ways to display search result immediately after user has picked a scope but not entered search word yet? Thanks Bill

  • Don't display dynamic query in result

    - by Tom Andrews
    Hi all, Is it possible to hide a dynamic query from the result sets provided from a Stored Procedure? I am using the @@rowcount of the dynamic query to set a variable that is used to determine whether another query runs or not. The other query is used by code that I cannot change - hence why I am changing the Stored Procedure. The dynamic query returns as the first result set from the Stored Procedure is now the result of the dynamic query which currently is "breaking" the calling code. Thanks in advance

I'm trying to get an array of (9) numbers squared then printed but I keep coming back with only one result - the number of numbers in the array squared- obviously not what I want. Thanks for any help. Ok, here is my terrible code so far. Trying to pass it to a method as well. public static void main ( String args[] ) { double[] nums = {126, 12.939, 795, 320.16, 110, 34.7676, 7773, 67, 567, 323}; System.out.println ("Square root is " +square); square(nums); } public static double square (double [] array) { double result; for( double i = 0; i < array.length ; i++ ) result = Math.sqrt(array[i]); return result; } }

For example, display result inside the Class class Schedule { public $currentWeek; function teamQuery($currentWeek){ $this->currentWeek=$currentWeek; } function getSchedule(){ $connection = mysql_connect(DB_SERVER,DB_USER,DB_PASS); if (!$connection) { die("Database connection failed: " . mysql_error()); } $db_select = mysql_select_db(DB_NAME,$connection); if (!$db_select) { die("Database selection failed: " . mysql_error()); } $scheduleQuery=mysql_query("SELECT guest, home, time, winner, pickEnable FROM $this->currentWeek ORDER BY time", $connection); if (!$scheduleQuery){ die("database has errors: ".mysql_error()); } while($row=mysql_fetch_array($scheduleQuery, MYSQL_NUMS)){ //display the result..ex: echo $row['winner']; } mysql_close($scheduleQuery); //no returns } } Or return the query result as a variable and handle in php class Schedule { public $currentWeek; function teamQuery($currentWeek){ $this->currentWeek=$currentWeek; } function getSchedule(){ $connection = mysql_connect(DB_SERVER,DB_USER,DB_PASS); if (!$connection) { die("Database connection failed: " . mysql_error()); } $db_select = mysql_select_db(DB_NAME,$connection); if (!$db_select) { die("Database selection failed: " . mysql_error()); } $scheduleQuery=mysql_query("SELECT guest, home, time, winner, pickEnable FROM $this->currentWeek ORDER BY time", $connection); if (!$scheduleQuery){ die("database has errors: ".mysql_error()); // create an array } $ret = array(); while($row=mysql_fetch_array($scheduleQuery, MYSQL_NUMS)){ $ret[]=$row; } mysql_close($scheduleQuery); return $ret; // and handle the return value in php } } Two things here: I found that returned variable in php is a little bit complex to play with since it is two dimension array. I am not sure what the best practice is and would like to ask you experts opinions. Every time I create a new method, I have to recreate the $connection variable: see below $connection = mysql_connect(DB_SERVER,DB_USER,DB_PASS); if (!$connection) { die("Database connection failed: " . mysql_error()); } $db_select = mysql_select_db(DB_NAME,$connection); if (!$db_select) { die("Database selection failed: " . mysql_error()); } It seems like redundant to me. Can I only do it once instead of calling it anytime I need a query? I am new to php class. hope you guys can help me. thanks.

    Hi, Can anyone point me the tutorial for step by step creating my onw XML custom result formatter. I read that we can create our own result formatter by specifying the XSLT in styledir. I want to know what should specify in XSLT, like the xml tag for testsuite name, testcase name and the result. Thanks in advance

    Hi, I have built a small text based search engine on ROR which will display relevant records having a specified search word in it.since few of the records has more than 1000 words i have truncated each result set to 200 characters.My views file search.html.erb looks like this <% @results_with_ranks.each do |result| -%> <% content_id = rtable.find(result[0]).content_id %> <% content= Content.find(content_id) %> <%= truncate content.body, :length => 200 %><br/> <p> Record id <%= content.id %></p> <hr style="color:blue"> <% end -%> I want to provide an option so that whenever any truncated record is selected its entire body has to be displayed. • Echo-ing Only Available Database Result

    - by Robert Hanson
    I have this Associative Array : $Fields = array("row0"=>"Yahoo ID", "row1"=>"MSN ID", "row2"=> "Gtalk ID"); on the other side, I have this SQL query : SELECT YahooID, MSNID, GTalkID From UserTable WHERE Username = '$Username' LIMIT 1; the result maybe vary, because some users only have Yahoo ID and some have others. for example if I have this result : $row[0] = NONE //means YahooID = NONE $row[1] = [email protected] $row[2] = [email protected] then how to have this as an output (echo) : MSN ID = [email protected] Gtalk ID = [email protected] since Yahoo ID is not exist, then the result will be MSN and Gtalk only. 'MSN ID' and 'Gtalk ID' is variable from Associative Array, while '[email protected]' and '[email protected]' from SQL result. thanks!
