• Use of type 'id' in cocoa class

  Hey guys, I want to implement a class which can be used by two classes of my project. One is manipulating 'NewsRecord' objects. One is manipulating 'GalleriesRecord' objects. In another class, I may use one of the two objects so i do something like that : // header class id myNewsRecordOrGalleriesRecord; // class.m // NewsRecord and GalleriesRecord have both the title property NSLog(myNewsRecordOrGalleriesRecord.title); and i get : error : request for member 'title' in something not a structure or union any ideas :D ? • Storing unique ID in UITableViewCell

  I have a table where there will often be two cells with the same title. I'm zooming in on a map whenever a cell in the table is clicked, so using the title as a unique identifier is out of the question. I already have a unique identifier, but I need to find a way to store it in a UITableViewCell object. I have been considering two options, both of which are poor, IMO. 1) store the unique ID as the text inside the text of the detailTextLabel property. 2) build a custom UITableViewCell class. I'm new to objective C, and I would essentially like to know if theres a third option that isnt as inefficient as #1, but not as involved as #2. Thanks

• How to get the "#" symbol in the :id into the redirect_to method in Rails

  Hello, this is a silly questions but I don't understand, why rails isn't evaluating my string as expected. Here is my problem: I want to redirect to an url in the form ~/:controller/index/#_76 redirect_to :action => "index", :id => '#_76' But I'm getting the url in the form: ~/:controller/index/%25_76 and so my anchor for linking to a certain place in the website isn't working. Can someone please explain me, why rails makes this rendering? I think this hase something to do with url encoding. Again thanks for your help, I'm learning every day a little bit more about rails :).

• Google Account ID?

  Hi, I am building an app on top of Google Reader. Since users have to enter their Google Account data, I'd like to use this data to assign personal settings to each user. However, if I do so and a user would change his email adress or password(for the whole Google Account), I wouldn't be able to identify him anymore. Thus, I need to know if there's a Google Account ID or something that I can use to identify users regardless of an email adress or password. Thanks for your help!

• Drupal - Getting node id from view to customise link in block

  I got a little problem with Drupal (again) in that I'm trying to work out how I can build a block which is able to show the node ID of the view page the block is currently sitting on. I'm using views to build a large chunk of my site, but I need to be able to make "intelligent" blocks in PHP mode which will have dynamic content depending on what the view is displaying. So.. how can I go about finding the $nid which a view is currently displaying?! Any ideas?

  I am fairly new at programming in Objective-C, having been a windows programmer since I was a kid. I am falling in LOVE with it. I am, however, having a bit of trouble figuring out this Core Data stuff. How do I create a new entry with a unique ID? In SQL I would just declare one field as an autoincrement field. I'm not seeing anything like that here, but I could just be missing something. I just want an auto incrementing NSInteger field, so when I manually add items to the database, I will have some form of reference to them.

I found 1 way which some ppl on net says works for them and it is giving me strange problem. if you see the image, when i use the function fnGetPosition, it just cross out.. i don't know why other users over net have no issue on it.. All i am trying to get is FormID, if there is any other way please help me get the ID.

  Hi, i mostly do CSS and php so i'm kind'a lost here, so no idea if this is possible the way i want it anyway, this is it: I have this code <html:textarea rows="10" cols="70" property="thankYouMessage" /> And i want this textarea to render an id of "textareaID" and a name like "textareaname" how can i go about this?... if i use styleID, the page just won't load anymore... i need to apply some css to that markup so that's the thing.   I'm creating a CMS using jQuery and AJAX. When I click, my "Add Campaign" buttom, it creates a unique client ID in the DB and on a hard reload, the new client shows up in its container. I am trying to use ajax to reload the container on the fly and I'm not having the exact luck i am hoping for. • PHP Session Id changes between pages

  Hi All, I have a problem where i am losing the PHP session between 2 pages. The session_start() is included in a file called session-inc.php into every page requiring a session to be set. This works for all pages on the site except one particular page, member-profile.php. When this page is visited a new session with a different id (same session name) is set and used instead. A few more details: Session name is set manually All pages are on the same server under the same domain name If i put an additional session_start() above the include('session-inc.php') in the member-profile.php file, the session is carried over correctly I have tried setting the session_cookie_domain and session.session_name in the .htaccess, this worked for this domain but it stopped the session being passed over to out payment domain We are running apache 2.2.6 with php 5.2.5 Putting the session_start() above the include('session-inc.php') in the member-profile.php file is the quick and dirty fix for this problem, but i am wondering if anybody know why this would be happening.   I am currently working on a nice table that displays the items in a list of "Tasks" on a dispForm page. Each Task is created and initially given a ProjectID depending on which project the task is for. The ProjectID is the actual ID given to the "project" when it is added to the list, therefore it is not actually a parameter in the list of projects while it is a parameter in the list of tasks. I would like to know how to use the ProjectID parameter in the task list to link to the Project list and grab the ProjectName parameter so that I can display the Project Name in the table. Currently I can not get it to work. All help is appreciated, Gale

  I've added a combo box in the gui editor in MSVC 2010 pro in my MFC project. I have a list of strings I am grabbing from an external source and want to add them to my combo box. I've searched for a while, and every post seems to suggest I need to use the CComboBox class, however, I have no idea how to get the class variable from the resource ID of the combobox element in the gui editor. In summary, how do I add a string to my combo box, either using a macro (like CB_ADDSTRING(RESOURCE_ID, "my string");) or using CComboBOx (something like CComboBox::GetObject(RESOURCE_ID)->AddString("blah");). I do not do much win32 api/mfc programming, and just started fiddling around with it.

  I've been stuck on something for the past day. I'm building a RoR bot, and part of it involves signing up for an email account with mail.com. I've automated all the filling out of the form, apart from the captcha (Recaptcha). I'll be using the deathbycaptcha Ruby gem. However, in order to have the captcha solved, I'll need to get either its ID or its URL. While this shows up when I "enable form details" with the Firefox Web Developer toolbar, it doesn't seem to be in the source. How can I find it out? I'm using Watir. Thanks! Joe

  Dear reader, I'm working on a blob matching and tracking library in C++. Currently I'm using openCV to detect blobs and try to match blobs in a new frame by checking the position, velocity and size of the blob. This works quite okay and I'm receiving a high blob match rate (95% or higher). Sometimes blobs fall out of the image or new blobs appear. Now I need to give matched blobs the same ID as they had before. I'm wondering if there are typical or commonly used techniques for doing this. Or even some keywords I can use to google on. Thanks

  I am using the WebAPI with .NET 4.5. I have a enum called DareStatus which is a list of statuses and their corresponding integer ID's. To minimize bandwidth traffic I want to send the int values of the enums, not the full text as it is currently doing. (I have control over the client so I can map it on the clientside).   I am dynamically creating divs within a jquery accordion that are loaded with data as when the user clicks on the accordion title. I have this all working except that when I pass the div id into the load details method, the call to .load() does not work. What can I do to fix this? It seems like a simple javascript string eval would work but I can not find what I am looking for. Code: Here is the basic function: function loadDetails(div_id) { var load_string = "ajax/get_details.aspx"; $(div_id).load(load_string); } This function is called correctly on the click event and the div_id is passed in correctly but the load function is not working. Taggable.find(:all, :joins => :tags, :conditions => {:tags => {:taggable_id => [1,2,3]}}) results in this: SELECT `taggables`.* FROM `taggables` INNER JOIN `tags` ON tags.taggable_id = taggables.id WHERE (`tag`.`taggable_id` IN (1,2,3)) The syntax is incredible but does not fit my needs in that the resulting sql returns any taggable that has any, some or all of the tags. How can I find taggables with related tags of field taggable_id valued 1, 2 and 3? Thanks for any advice. :)

  I originally started by selecting customers from a group of customers and then for each customer querying the records for the past few days and presenting them in a table row.
