Problem searching a NSMutableArray

Basically, I have a UISearchBar searching an NSMutableArray of stories that make up an RSS feed, and when you select a story, it loads in my app's UIWebView. It's difficult to explain, but I have a list of entries 1, 2, 3, and 4 and you search for '4'. 4 will be the first entry in the now-filtered list of data, right? You'd think that by selecting 4, it would load in the UIWebView. Well, the app seems to not recognize that you're selecting the first entry in a filtered list of data, and instead thinks that you're selecting the first entry in the unfiltered array of data, so it loads entry 1. Everything looks right in my code, but obviously it isn't. I know it's a confusing problem, but I hope I made it somewhat clear. How to copy a formatted cell in Excel to a table cell in Word using .NET?

I'm attempting to copy cells, one at a time, from an Excel 2003 (or 2007) spreadsheet to a Word 2003 (or 2007) table. I'd like the code to be version-agnostic, and so am using late binding. The formatting of the contents of the Excel cell, such as color, underline, strike-through, needs to be preserved. My approach is to use a Word doc as a template. It has a table at the top which I can copy to the end of the doc, add rows as needed, and fill in the word table cells with the data from the excel spreadsheet. Unfortunately, all the formatting disappears. All I get is the text itself.

Document Similarity: Comparing two documents efficiently

I have a loop that calculates the similarity between two documents. It collects all the tokens in a document and their scores, and places them in dictionary. Unable to load the Starteam Dump into SVN

Hi, I have a dump created from StarTeam 2008 R 2 (10.4.7.-64) using svn importer 1.1-M8. But when I am trying to import the dump its giving me error: * adding path : tags/Test/GH/13_Environment/Process/Capgemini EN Template - Business Case.doc ...svnadmin: File already exists: filesystem 'help\db', transaction '2-2', path 'tags/Test/GH/13_Environment/Process/Capgemini EN Template - Business Case.doc' I can see from the svn admin load o/p that the file has been added already. May be the dump created by SVN Importer is not correct. Can anyone guide me how to solve this ?

Problem extracting text from RSS feeds

Hi, I am new to the world of Ruby and Rails. I have seen rails cast 190 and I just started playing with it. I used selector gadget to find out the CSS and XPath I have the following code.. require 'rubygems' require 'nokogiri' require 'open-uri' url = "http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/rss" doc = Nokogiri::HTML(open(url)) doc.xpath('//a').each do |paragraph| puts paragraph.text end When I extracted text from a normal HTML page with css, I could get the extracted text on the console. But when I try to do the same either with CSS or XPath for the RSS Feed for the following URL mentioned in the code above, I dont get any output. How do you extract text from RSS feeds?? I also have another silly question. Link XSL Style Sheet to XForms generated XML document

Hi! Through XForms, I generate an XML document. I need this XML document to be transformed by a specific XSL. How do I link the XSL to the XML through XForms? Example of link: <?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="test.xsl"?> (The XML doc gets regenerated every time the XForms submits to it.. so I cannot hardcode the link in the XML doc, in needs to be done through the XForms) Thanks!

Is the javaScript not part of the DOM?

Why is it that scripts can still function even after the code used to create them is removed from the DOM? I ran into a situation where I wanted to prevent a broken script from running (@see my post). In my attempt to come up with a solution I wrote an extension with the following line (just to see what would happen). //doc is passed here because this script is running as a firefox extension outside //of the document context. $('script', doc).remove(); I assumed that this would remove all the scripts from the DOM, which it did, and that therefore no scripts would run on the page, which is not the case. I would love to know more about what's behind this behavior.

Hi guy, I need to integrate struts with spring for a project. I read the doc to ingrate struts and it's ok for classic beans but I have a problem for my forms. I've got a simple Employee class that I'm trying to serialize to an XDocument and then use XSLT to transform the document to a page that displays both the properties (Name and ID) from the Employee class, and an html form with 2 radio buttons (Approve and Reject) and a submit button. How to visually represent file size

This will be a bit subjective, I'm afraid, but I'd value the advice of the Collective. Our web application lists documents that users can download; standard file navigator stuff: Type Name Created Size ----------------------------------- PDF Doc 1 01/04/2010 15 KB PDF Doc 2 01/04/2010 15 MB Currently we list the file size as text, but I'd like to improve this by having some way of showing visually whether the file is tiny, normal or huge. The reason for this is so that users can scan the list quickly and spot files that are likely to take a long time downloading. My options currently are: Bigger font sizes for bigger files (drawback: the layout can become untidy) Icons (like a wi-fi signal strength indicator; drawback: harder to scan) Keep all sizes in KB so the number of zeroes indicates size (drawback: users have to calculate the "friendly" size in their heads) I know this is quite a minor thing, but I'd appreciate anyone's thoughts on the matter!

Installing CXF with Eclipse 3.5

As per http://help.eclipse.org/helios/topic/org.eclipse.jst.ws.cxf.doc.user/reference/preferences.html The CXF 2.x preferences can be accessed via Window > Preferences... > Web Services > CXF 2.x Preferences from the top level menu. but I dont see the option CXF 2.x Preferences under Web Services, though I have chosen JavaEE perspective. any ideas how to enable this? Sorry for such a simple question. I also cannot do not see CXF as a Project Facet as per http://help.eclipse.org/helios/index.jsp?topic=/org.eclipse.jst.ws.jaxws.doc.user/gettingstarted/requirements.html I know this is something to do with getting Eclipse aware of CXF libraries, but cant find the tutorial for this.

Exception showing a erroneous web page in a WPF frame

Setting Scala "Platform" for NetBeans 6.8 on Ubuntu Lucid Lynx

I'm trying to use NetBeans 6.8 with Scala, and it can't find the "Scala Platform" (whatever that is supposed to be). I'm using Ubuntu Lucid Lynx (fully updated). The libraries are in /usr/share/java, the binaries in /usr/bin, the docs in /usr/share/doc/scala-doc/, and the sources are uninstalled. I think that NetBeans is looking for Scala to be in one single directory (with bin, lib, etc.). I created /usr/share/scala and placed links to the other directories, but it still didn't quite make it. Can someone straighten me out? (And why is it a "platform"? More needless jargon...)

I trying to get twitter updates like this: try { $doc = new DOMDocument(); $doc->load('http://twitter.com/statuses/user_timeline/1234567890.rss'); $isOK = true; } catch( Zend_Exception $e ) { $isOK = false; } If there is not problem with internet connection then $isOK = true; is set. But if there is a problem in loading twitter page then it shows following warnings and does not set $isOK = false; Warning: DOMDocument::load(http://twitter.com/statuses/user_timeline/1234567890.rss) [domdocument.load]: failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found in /var/www/vcred/application/controllers/IndexController.php on line 120 I don't want to see above warning on my webpage in any case. Any idea? Thanks

Accessing GMail "View as HTML" content programatically?

I love the "View as HTML" option in GMail when viewing attachments. I would love to be able to use this feature programatically, i.e. check a GMail inbox, read emails, if there are attachments, get the html view and use that content. I'm looking to do this in C Sharp (on a Mac, can't find the hash symbol). Does anyone know if this is possible or if there's another solution to easily get content from a GMail account, regardless of what format it's in? I.E html, pdf, Word doc, etc. The GMail Inbox Feed api isn't good enough and before I start trying to build an IMAP solution that pulls in PDF/Word doc converters, I thought it'd be good to ask here.

Which C++ graphics library should I use?

Hello, I found the following graphics libraries, but I am not sure which one I should use. Maybe there are some more... Graphviz (http://www.graphviz.org/) Boost Graph Library (http://www.boost.org/doc/libs/1_42_0/libs/graph/doc/index.html) Lemon (http://lemon.cs.elte.hu/trac/lemon) igraph (http://igraph.sourceforge.net/introduction.html) What it should do: draw a undirected network map come as header only or static lib for Windows the output format should be user editable Graphviz is the only one I tried so far, but I found no static lib for it, I failed to build it by my own and the documentation could be better. Therefore I looked around and found these other three libs. I would be glad to get some recommendations which lib to choose. Thanks, /mspoerr
