• How to query Pom version using maven

  Is there a goal one can execute that will just echo the version of a pom? I can think of a way to make it work using the maven-ant-plugin, but that requires me to have ant-plugin configuration in the pom and I would a method that would work with any pom.

  I am new to maven and hit a problem that looks easy in the first place but I already kept me busy for a whole day about and no way to get it working. First as part of running eclipse:eclipse plugin I create a linked folder like below: <linkedResources> <linkedResource> <name>properties</name> <type>2</type> <location>${PARENT-2-PROJECT_LOC}/some_other_project/properties</location> </linkedResource> <linkedResource> <name>properties/messages.properties</name> <type>1</type> <location>${PARENT-2-PROJECT_LOC}/some_other_project/properties/messages.properties</location> </linkedResource> And then I am adding that folder as a source folder like below: <plugin> <groupId>org.codehaus.mojo</groupId> <artifactId>build-helper-maven-plugin</artifactId> <version>1.7</version> <executions> <execution> <id>add-source</id> <phase>generate-sources</phase> <goals> <goal>add-source</goal> </goals> <configuration> <sources> <source>properties</source> <source>some_real_folder</source> </sources> </configuration> </execution> </executions> </plugin> However when I am looking at the generated .classpath in eclipse the “some_real_folder” is there but the “properties” is not. It looks like by default the build-helper-maven-plugin will check if the folder is there and if it is not it won’t add it. I am using maven 3.0.4 outside eclipse to run the build and I can see in the maven logs something like this: [INFO] Source directory: <some path>\properties added. This is my project structure: project1 \-- properties (this is the real folder) project2 \-- some_real_folder \-- properties (this is the link resource pointing to the project1/properties folder) All I need is to have both "some_real_folder" and the linked resource "properties" added to the .classpath of the project2

  I'm developing a touchscreen application that, aside from everything else, records the amount of times the screen is used so that the user can be reminded to clean the screen after a predefined number of clicks. I've got the click functions written nicely, all I need now is make sure the function is called on a click. I imagine $('*').click(function() { //do something }); would accomplish my goal, but is that the best way? Also, would that overwrite other click functions assigned to the elements?

  How do I remove strings from / obfuscate a compiled binary? The goal is to avoid having people read the names of the functions/methods inside. It is a dynamic library (.so) compiled from C++ code for Android with the NDK tools (includes GCC) I compile with -O3 and already use arm-eabi-gcc -g mylib.so to remove debugging symbols, but when I do strings mylib.so all the names of the functions/methods are still readable.

  While working in Java, I find it hard to position my Main application window in the very center of the screen when I start the application. Is there any way I can do that? I tried with some of the predefined methods but none worked. BTW it doesn't have to be vertically centered, horizontal alignment is the more important goal for me. SELECT COUNT(DISTINCT ip), GROUP_CONCAT(ref.id) FROM `sess` sess JOIN `ref` USING(row_id) WHERE sess.time BETWEEN '2010-04-21 00:00:00' AND '2010-04-21 23:59:59' GROUP BY ref.id ORDER BY sess.time DESC The query works fine, but its using a temporary table. Any ideas?

Everything works well, except that I want to rotate the arrow image in my ImageView. • How to tell which php.ini files is loaded ?

  Looking at my php.info all it says is "Loaded Configuration file:" C:\xampp\php\php.ini Yet I have two ini files inside the php folder. One, "development", the other "production". I can not see within either ini file the value, "Loaded Configuration file" .. So How do I tell which one is being used and where is that managed ?   I have a bunch of 200X120 thumbnails and a bunch of high quality images, Apparently when I just resize the thumbnails with img size the quality suffers, so we are loading two images from the server the image thumbnail and the actual, I am just trying to optimize my site for speed a little saw someone mention embedding thumbs in the image, does anyone know a program that does that?   Is there a way to generate a group of routes under an admin scope without having to create a new physical directory (like namespace requires you to). I know that in Rails 3 there is a scope method on the route mapper, and this appears to do what I want, but apparently it doesn't exist in Rails 2.3.x My goal is to have a route like this: "/admin/products" map to "app/controllers/products_controller, not "app/controllers/admin/products_controller". Is there any way to accomplish this in Rails 2.3.x?

• Is there any way to force an iPhone application to relaunch?

  Basically -[UIApplication openURL:] would be perfect, if it wasn't for the fact that it doesn't work within the same application (at least on simulator -- if this works on device someone please tell me). It's not a super big deal though if it just relaunches w/o URLness since I can obviously just persist some data. The goal of this is to essentially free all memory in the application and call all of the loading procedures.
