However this is only 4.0 Just wondering if there are other attributes that would have the desire effect. So be clear, i have a field called "DateRegistered" i wish to display this as string not text field using "Html.EditorFor"

I've got an input field in a form that needs a date value. I'm using jQuery UI's datepicker for the calendar and I've set a range for it. However, the user can override that by typing a different date in the input field. How can I specify a date range for the field with jQuery validation? All I see with jQuery is that you can only specify that the field be a date type. Can I create min and max values that work with dates?

Hello all, Is there an equivalent of MySQLs on update field for SQL server? With both DEFAULT CURRENT_TIMESTAMP and ON UPDATE CURRENT_TIMESTAMP clauses, the column has the current timestamp for its default value, and is automatically updated. What I am looking for is to have a date/time field and every time I update a record it updates the field with the date/time it was updated automatically? If it doesn't exist, I guess I'll have to go manual. Thanks all

Using JRE 5.0.0, simulator device is an 8520. On a screen I am using a FlowFieldManager(Manager.VERTICAL_SCROLL) and adding Fields to it to show data. When I do this.flowManager = new FlowFieldManager(Manager.VERTICAL_SCROLL); Field field = new Field() { protected void paint(Graphics graphics) { graphics.drawTest("Test", 0, 0); } protected void layout(int width, int height) { this.setExtend(300, 300); // just testing } } this.flowManager.add(field); The screen renders correctly and 'Test' appears on the screen. If, on the other hand, I try and abstract this into a class called CustomField with the same properties and add it to the flow manager the render will not happen. Debugging shows that the device enters into the Object, into the layout function, but not the paint function. I can't figure out why the paint function is not called when I extend Field. The 4.5 API says that layout and paint are the only functions that I really need to extend. (getPreferredWidth and getPreferredHeight will be used to calculate screen sizes etc.) Thanks in advance.

Here's the test code: $('#hidden-field').val('I am a hidden value'); // To make sure it's setting properly ... // This shows its being set in FF, Chrome, **AND** IE alert($('#hidden-field').val()); Then on the PHP side: print_r($_POST); For submissions made with IE the result looks like this: Array ( [hidden-field] => ) Other browsers have the value. I am building a PHP registration form which takes the following fields for up to 20 athletes: First Name Middle Initial Last Name Federation Number Address City State Zip DOB SSN Phone Email I am only through 7 of the fields for each fighter and my php file is very large (over 40kb). using CSS to center FLOATED input elements wrapped in a DIV

There's no shortage of questions and answers about centering but I've not been able to get it to work given my specific circumstances, which involve floating. I want to center a container DIV that contains three floated input elements (split-button, text, checkbox), so that when my page is resized wider, they go from this: ||.....[ ][v] [ ] [ ] label .....|| to this ||......................[ ][v] [ ] [ ] label.......................|| They float fine, but when the page is made wider, they stay to the left: ||.....[ ][v] [ ] [ ] label .......................................|| If I remove the float so that the input elements are stacked rather than side-by-side: [ ][v] [ ] [ ] label then they DO center correctly when the page is resized. SO it is the float being applied to the elements of the DIV#hbox inside the container that is messing up the centering. Is what I want to do impossible because of the way float is designed to work? Is there a 64-bit Windows 7 driver for a Logitech Wingman Formula Force wheel?

I've used my Logitech Wingman Formula Force wheel for more years than I can remember (I definitely had it back when I was playing Viper Racing, though). Sadly, Logitech does not appear to support the wheel in any capacity, even as an analog input device. At this point, I'm looking for any sort of driver that will take input from the device. I don't care at all about the force feedback but, if it were available, I'd be happy to take it. The target operating system is Windows 7 64-bit. EDIT: Just in case I'm not clear above: I know where the standard driver download sites are and have tried them out. The problem is that Logitech has officially end-of-lifed this wheel so their latest software specifically does not support it. Sadly, their older software that does support it is 32-bit only so I'm out of luck on that front.

New Outlook 2003 message, cursor sometimes goes to body, sometimes goes to "To:" field

I've got an Outlook 2003 client that, when you click on "New message", about half the time the cursor defaults to being in the "body" of the message, and the other half of the time it defaults to the cursor being in the "To:" field. Anyone know why this might be happening? Thought it might be related to having Word set, or not set, to be the default email editor, but that had no effect. Also, this particular user reports that, on their previous machine, it always defaults to the "To:" field. I happen to still have that machine around, unmodified from when it was removed from the, and they are correct - it never goes to the body. I also read that some people had this issue and turned off the "Outlook today" feature to fix it, with mixed results. However, in this case the "Outlook today" feature isn't even turned on.

CNet router - no field for private port

I'm trying to configure port forwarding on my CNet router for a locally hosted HTTP server. The model number of my router is CQR-981 and the firmware version is 1.0.43. The problem is that there's no field to enter the private port of the HTTP server (the local port). According to the manual there should be one. Perhaps manually make an HTTP request to the HTTP server on the router to update the table with the private port number, or perhaps update my firmware to solve this problem.

Odd behavior on Shift-{Esc,Fx}

Sometimes, when changing between the modes in Vim, I forget to take my finger off the Shift key. This innocent mistake is probably part of the luggage carried over from other terminals, but I have never seen my input treated this way.
