  • How to draw a single point with .Net?

    Hello, this should be pretty simple but I don't get it. How can I draw a single point in .Net? If I use g.DrawLine(Black,0,0,0,0) nothing is drawn and if I use g.DrawLine(Black,0,0,1,0) a line with 2 dots is used. The same happens with g.DrawRectangle. This has me intrigued. Thanks in advance.

    Hi, Consider the following structure : Ignore the table user_token. Now, imagine that you need to get all the roles related to an user, wich may be through it's related groups or directly related to him. In case the same role appears related to a group and the user directly, the role related to the user will prevail over the role given by the group. Is there any chance this could be done in a single query? Cheers!

    Hello How can I use the update() method on a single model which I retrieved via Queryset.get() ? It seems like model. Model doesn't have an update() method yet I cannot invoke .save() as I have a pre-save signals which messes things up. EDIT: An idea would be passing some parameter to the save method and catching it at the pre_save signal, so that I can understand the purpose, how can this be done ? Thanks

    I have a Perl script that calls aspnet_compiler.exe to compile a large ASP.NET website. The problem is that it takes very long to run. Is there any way to compile just a single .aspx file from the command line? (I think that would suit the needs of my script) It seems that all aspnet_compiler.exe can do is compile at a directory level.

    I'm trying to query a database, and return a set of values. Part of the data i'm trying to return is an insurance premium breakdown. Is it possible to run a query, that selects multiple fields, then adds then and returns them as a single value? I've seen SUM() but the examples i've seen show it as adding up the results of an entire field - where as i need it to add specific fields for each row returned. Any help is much appreciated.

    I'm wanting to use http_build_query to change an array to html tag properties. Problem is, it's changing my single-quoted values into %27. So if I have http_build_query( array("type"=>"'hidden'", ... ), '', ' ' ); I get <input type=%27hidden%27 ...> How can I get around this?

Each application runs fine and I can link between apps using absolute URLs. Is there some way I can use or extend the URL helper class (functions like anchor(), redirect()... etc.) to generate links to controllers across applications.     say you have 3 models : user, hair_color, and eye_color user hasOne hair_color user also hasOne eye_color however var $hasOne = 'hair_color'; var $hasOne = 'eye_color'; obviously wont work. So how do you implement many hasOne relationships in a single model? I assume the answer is in the cookbook, Im going over that area now, I suspect it has something to do with passing an array to $hasOne, but no example of doing this.

    I'm using wordpress, and I want to add the adsense javascript tags where the Read More tag goes in a blogpost. It's stored as <!--more--> in the database, but when you use the_content() this is automatically changed before I have the chance to use a str_replace() function. I'm looking to place an adsense tag for each post in the single.php page where the teaser ends. Has anyone been able to do this?
