    After adding the line to /etc/haproxy/haproxy.cfg as part of creating a transparent proxy, source 0.0.0.0 usesrc clientip restarting haproxy starts giving an error ~# service haproxy reload * Reloading haproxy haproxy [ALERT] 230/153724 (1140) : [/usr/sbin/haproxy.main()] Some configuration options require full privileges, so global.uid cannot be changed. I'm already running service haproxy reload as root. What else do we have to do? Thank you!

  • Change Bitlocker to use the TPM plus a USB key and a PIN

    I have bitlocker running on Windows 7 (x86) on a Dell D630 laptop (it has a 1.2 TPM). It is running in transparent mode. I'd like to know how to configure it to use a PIN and a USB key as well, but I can't find anything that looks like it does this in the UI. Does anyone know how to do this? Do I have to remove bitlocker and re-enable it?? (This should be possible according to this - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BitLocker_Drive_Encryption)

    Hi! I'm trying to compose two videos, and I'm using the alpha plug-in to make the white color transparent. To test the alpha plug-in I'm creating the pipeline with gst-launch. The first test I done was: gst-launch videotestsrc pattern=smpte75 \ ! alpha method=custom target-r=255 target-g=255 target-b=255 angle=10 \ ! videomixer name=mixer ! ffmpegcolorspace ! autovideosink \ videotestsrc pattern=snow ! mixer. and it works great! Then I created two videos with those lines: gst-launch videotestsrc pattern=snow ! ffmpegcolorspace ! theoraenc ! oggmux ! filesink location=snow.ogv gst-launch videotestsrc pattern=smpte75 ! ffmpegcolorspace ! theoraenc ! oggmux ! filesink location=bars75.ogv And changed the videotestsrc to a filesrc and it continues working gst-launch filesrc location=bars75.ogv ! decodebin2 \ ! alpha method=custom target-r=255 target-g=255 target-b=255 angle=10 \ ! videomixer name=mixer ! ffmpegcolorspace ! autovideosink \ filesrc location=snow.ogv ! decodebin2 ! alpha ! mixer. Now it can be disabled in the browser settings by user. My setup is: one standalone pc with ubuntu running the squid and squidguard and on this very same device I want to somehow enforce using the proxy.   • CSS height problem. IE8 seems correct Firefox seems wrong. Any fix?

    Below is a complete html page that shows the problem. The "myDiv" should be 22px in height (including the border). Item 1 should have a 1px space between its border and the divs border. In IE8 it is. In FF 3.6.2 though it is 24px and I can't understand why. Ultimately my goal is to get the same CSS to create the same result in both browsers. It's driving me crazy!     I currently used this code for Imagemagick: convert "c:\users\****\My Documents\test.png" -transparent white test2.png However, I keep on getting two errors that look like this: convert.exe: unable to open image `c:\users\****\My': No such file or directory @ error/blob.c/OpenBlob/2641. convert.exe: no decode delegate for this image format `c:\users\****\My' @ error/constitute.c/ReadImage/550. I installed Imagemagick to my c:\ directory. What does this mean, and how can I fix it?

When I'm using the taskbar to switch programs I don't like seeing artifacts 'bleeding-through', I find it distracting.

  • How can I export PDF from InDesign so that transparency renders properly on all platforms?

    Gradients, including drop shadows, all show up as solid blocks when I view my document on an Android phone. I tried different PDF compression and compatibility settings in an attempt to flatten and rasterize all the graphics, but it's clearly not working, as the Android viewer still identifies the outlines of transparent shapes instead of the blended pixels. Is there any way to truly flatten these PDF graphics, so that it doesn't matter whether a PDF viewer supports transparency, while keeping the text as text?

    I downloaded Silverlight for Safari to use Netflix. This download has caused my MacBook's volume keys to become non-functional, although I can still change volume through the icon in the menu bar or through system preferences. When I press the keys to change the volume, the transparent volume icon appears on the screen with a circle-slash icon at bottom center. Does anyone know how to make the keys functional again? I deleted Silverlight but still no sound.
