  • Using dynamic parameters in email publisher subjectSettings block with CruiseControl.Net

    - by Joe
    I am trying to get dynamic parameters to be used in the email publisher's subjectSettings block. For example, <project> ... <parameters> <textParameter> <name>version</name> <display>Version to install</display> <description>The version to install.</description> <required>true</required> </textParameter> </parameters> <tasks> ... </tasks> <publishers> .... <email includeDetails="TRUE"> <from>buildmaster</from> <mailhost>localhost</mailhost> <users> <user name="Joe" group="buildmaster" address="jdavies" /> </users> <groups> <group name="buildmaster"> <notifications> <notificationType>Always</notificationType> </notifications> </group> <group name="users"> <notifications> <notificationType>Success</notificationType> <notificationType>Fixed</notificationType> </notifications> </group> </groups> <subjectSettings> <subject buildResult="Success" value="Version ${version} installed." /> <subject buildResult="Fixed" value="Version ${version} fixed and installed." /> </subjectSettings> <modifierNotificationTypes> <notificationType>Success</notificationType> </modifierNotificationTypes> </email> </project> I have tried using ${version} and $[version]. When I use $[version], the entire subject line is empty! Are dynamic parameters supported in this case, and if so, what am I doing wrong?

  • How to make custom WCF error handler return JSON response with non-OK http code?

    - by John
    I'm implementing a RESTful web service using WCF and the WebHttpBinding. Currently I'm working on the error handling logic, implementing a custom error handler (IErrorHandler); the aim is to have it catch any uncaught exceptions thrown by operations and then return a JSON error object (including say an error code and error message - e.g. { "errorCode": 123, "errorMessage": "bla" }) back to the browser user along with an an HTTP code such as BadRequest, InteralServerError or whatever (anything other than 'OK' really). Here is the code I am using inside the ProvideFault method of my error handler: fault = Message.CreateMessage(version, "", errorObject, new DataContractJsonSerializer(typeof(ErrorMessage))); var wbf = new WebBodyFormatMessageProperty(WebContentFormat.Json); fault.Properties.Add(WebBodyFormatMessageProperty.Name, wbf); var rmp = new HttpResponseMessageProperty(); rmp.StatusCode = System.Net.HttpStatusCode.InternalServerError; rmp.Headers.Add(HttpRequestHeader.ContentType, "application/json"); fault.Properties.Add(HttpResponseMessageProperty.Name, rmp); -- This returns with Content-Type: application/json, however the status code is 'OK' instead of 'InternalServerError'. fault = Message.CreateMessage(version, "", errorObject, new DataContractJsonSerializer(typeof(ErrorMessage))); var wbf = new WebBodyFormatMessageProperty(WebContentFormat.Json); fault.Properties.Add(WebBodyFormatMessageProperty.Name, wbf); var rmp = new HttpResponseMessageProperty(); rmp.StatusCode = System.Net.HttpStatusCode.InternalServerError; //rmp.Headers.Add(HttpRequestHeader.ContentType, "application/json"); fault.Properties.Add(HttpResponseMessageProperty.Name, rmp); -- This returns with the correct status code, however the content-type is now XML. fault = Message.CreateMessage(version, "", errorObject, new DataContractJsonSerializer(typeof(ErrorMessage))); var wbf = new WebBodyFormatMessageProperty(WebContentFormat.Json); fault.Properties.Add(WebBodyFormatMessageProperty.Name, wbf); var response = WebOperationContext.Current.OutgoingResponse; response.ContentType = "application/json"; response.StatusCode = HttpStatusCode.InternalServerError; -- This returns with the correct status code and the correct content-type! The problem is that the http body now has the text 'Failed to load source for: http://localhost:7000/bla..' instead of the actual JSON data.. Any ideas? I'm considering using the last approach and just sticking the JSON in the HTTP StatusMessage header field instead of in the body, but this doesn't seem quite as nice?

  • How to avoid using duplicate savepoint names in nested transactions in nested stored procs?

    - by Gary McGill
    I have a pattern that I almost always follow, where if I need to wrap up an operation in a transaction, I do this: BEGIN TRANSACTION SAVE TRANSACTION TX -- Stuff IF @error <> 0 ROLLBACK TRANSACTION TX COMMIT TRANSACTION That's served me well enough in the past, but after years of using this pattern (and copy-pasting the above code), I've suddenly discovered a flaw which comes as a complete shock. Quite often, I'll have a stored procedure calling other stored procedures, all of which use this same pattern. What I've discovered (to my cost) is that because I'm using the same savepoint name everywhere, I can get into a situation where my outer transaction is partially committed - precisely the opposite of the atomicity that I'm trying to achieve. I've put together an example that exhibits the problem. This is a single batch (no nested stored procs), and so it looks a little odd in that you probably wouldn't use the same savepoint name twice in the same batch, but my real-world scenario would be too confusing to post. CREATE TABLE Test (test INTEGER NOT NULL) BEGIN TRAN SAVE TRAN TX BEGIN TRAN SAVE TRAN TX INSERT INTO Test(test) VALUES (1) COMMIT TRAN TX BEGIN TRAN SAVE TRAN TX INSERT INTO Test(test) VALUES (2) COMMIT TRAN TX DELETE FROM Test ROLLBACK TRAN TX COMMIT TRAN TX SELECT * FROM Test DROP TABLE Test When I execute this, it lists one record, with value "1". In other words, even though I rolled back my outer transaction, a record was added to the table. What's happening is that the ROLLBACK TRANSACTION TX at the outer level is rolling back as far as the last SAVE TRANSACTION TX at the inner level. Now that I write this all out, I can see the logic behind it: the server is looking back through the log file, treating it as a linear stream of transactions; it doesn't understand the nesting/hierarchy implied by either the nesting of the transactions (or, in my real-world scenario, by the calls to other stored procedures). So, clearly, I need to start using unique savepoint names instead of blindly using "TX" everywhere. But - and this is where I finally get to the point - is there a way to do this in a copy-pastable way so that I can still use the same code everywhere? Can I auto-generate the savepoint name on the fly somehow? Is there a convention or best-practice for doing this sort of thing? It's not exactly hard to come up with a unique name every time you start a transaction (could base it off the SP name, or somesuch), but I do worry that eventually there would be a conflict - and you wouldn't know about it because rather than causing an error it just silently destroys your data... :-(

  • Event not bubbling in some Browsers when clicked on Flash

    - by 166_MMX
    Environment: Windows 7, Internet Explorer 8, Flash ActiveX 10.1.53.64, wmode=transparent Just wrote a small test page that you can load in IE and Firefox or any other Browser. <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <title>Event bubbling test</title> </head> <body onclick="alert('body');" style="margin:0;border-width:0;padding:0;background-color:#00FF00;"> <div onclick="alert('div');" style="margin:0;border-width:0;padding:0;background-color:#FF0000;"> <span onclick="alert('span');" style="margin:0;border-width:0;padding:0;background-color:#0000FF;"> <object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=7,0,0,0" width="159" height="91" id="flashAbout_small" align="absmiddle"> <param name="movie" value="http://www.adobe.com/swf/software/flash/about/flashAbout_info_small.swf"/> <param name="quality" value="high"/> <param name="bgcolor" value="#FFFFFF"/> <param name="wmode" value="transparent"/> <embed src="http://www.adobe.com/swf/software/flash/about/flashAbout_info_small.swf" quality="high" bgcolor="#FFFFFF" width="159" height="91" wmode="transparent" name="flashAbout_small" align="absmiddle" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer"/> </object> </span> </div> </body> </html> So clicking any colored shape should produce an alert (except for the green one in IE, not sure why but I hope that's off topic and not related to my issue). Clicking the Flash container in Firefox will work Perfectly fine. You should get alert boxes in this order containing: span, div and body. Flash bubbles the event to the HTML. But this is not happening in IE. So why is Flash in IE not bubbling events to HTML? Edit: As mentioned by Andy E this behavior can also bee seen in Google Chrome which to my knowledge is not using ActiveX to embed the flash movie into the page.

  • Svcutil generating bad config with multiple endpoints

    - by vfilby
    I have a WCF service that has exposed a soap and an xml endpoint. When I use svcutil to generate the proxy code on the client side the generated configuration contains two endpoints which causes the client to fail. If I edit the web.config file and remove the second endpoint (with the custom binding) all works as expected. Is there a way I can get svcutil to generate a config that just works so that I don't need to hand edit the file everytime? Client-side error: An endpoint configuration section for contract 'MyNamespace.ITestService' could not be loaded because more than one endpoint configuration for that contract was found. Please indicate the preferred endpoint configuration section by name. • Ajax call to WCF service returns 12031 ERROR_INTERNET_CONNECTION_RESET on new endpoint

    - by cyrix86
    I have extended a WCF service with new functionality in the form of a second service contract. The service.cs now implements both contracts. I have added another endpoint to expose the new contract operations. Here is my web.config relating to the service <system.serviceModel> <bindings> <basicHttpBinding> <binding name="BasicHttpBinding" /> </basicHttpBinding> <webHttpBinding> <binding name="XmlHttpBinding"/> </webHttpBinding> </bindings> <services> <service name="MyNamespace.MyService" behaviorConfiguration="MyServiceBehavior"> <!-- Service Endpoints --> <endpoint address="xmlHttp1" behaviorConfiguration="XmlHttpBehavior" binding="webHttpBinding" bindingConfiguration="XmlHttpBinding" contract="MyNamespace.IContract1" /> <endpoint address="xmlHttp2" binding="webHttpBinding" behaviorConfiguration="XmlHttpBehavior" bindingConfiguration="XmlHttpBinding" contract="MyNamespace.IContract2" /> <endpoint address="" binding="basicHttpBinding" bindingConfiguration="BasicHttpBinding" contract="MyNamespace.IContract1" /> </service> </services> <behaviors> <serviceBehaviors> <behavior name="MyServiceBehavior"> <!-- To avoid disclosing metadata information, set the value below to false and remove the metadata endpoint above before deployment --> <serviceMetadata httpGetEnabled="true"/> <!-- To receive exception details in faults for debugging purposes, set the value below to true. Set to false before deployment to avoid disclosing exception information --> <serviceDebug includeExceptionDetailInFaults="false"/> </behavior> </serviceBehaviors> <endpointBehaviors> <behavior name="XmlHttpBehavior"> <webHttp/> </behavior> </endpointBehaviors> </behaviors> </system.serviceModel> From Javascript, calling 'http://server/wcfServiceApp/MyService.svc/xmlHttp1/Method1' still works fine. Calling 'http://server/wcfServiceApp/MyService.svc/xmlHttp2/Method2' returns the 12031 error. There must be something simple I'm not doing, any help is appreciated.

  • Haskell: how to get through 'no instance for' ?

    - by artemave
    I am learning Haskell. I am on the 8th chapter of this book. The main thing I've learned so far is that Haskell is very unfriendly to me and it bites my ass where possible. Moreover... Heck! Enough mourning, to business. Here is the code: module GlobRegex ( globToRegex, matchesGlob ) where import Text.Regex.Posix import Text.Regex.Posix.String import Text.Regex.Base.RegexLike data CaseOpt = Case | NoCase deriving (Eq) matchesGlob :: String -> String -> CaseOpt -> Bool matchesGlob name pat caseopt = match regex name where regex = case caseopt of NoCase -> makeRegexOpts (defaultCompOpt + compIgnoreCase) defaultExecOpt (globToRegex pat) Case -> makeRegex (globToRegex pat) globToRegex :: String -> String ... And here is how it fails to compile: Prelude Text.Regex.Posix Text.Regex.Base.RegexLike> :load globtoregex\GlobRegex. hs [1 of 1] Compiling GlobRegex ( globtoregex\GlobRegex.hs, interpreted ) globtoregex\GlobRegex.hs:14:31: No instance for (RegexLike regex [Char]) arising from a use of `match' at globtoregex\GlobRegex.hs:14:31-46 Possible fix: add an instance declaration for (RegexLike regex [Char]) In the expression: match regex name In the definition of `matchesGlob': matchesGlob name pat caseopt = match regex name where regex = case caseopt of { NoCase -> makeRegexOpts (defaultCompOpt + compIgnoreCase) defaultExecOpt (globToRegex pat) Case -> makeRegex (globToRegex pat) } globtoregex\GlobRegex.hs:17:23: No instance for (RegexMaker regex CompOption execOpt String) arising from a use of `makeRegex' at globtoregex\GlobRegex.hs:17:23-49 Possible fix: add an instance declaration for (RegexMaker regex CompOption execOpt String) In the expression: makeRegex (globToRegex pat) In a case alternative: Case -> makeRegex (globToRegex pat) In the expression: case caseopt of { NoCase -> makeRegexOpts (defaultCompOpt + compIgnoreCase) defaultExecOpt (globToRegex p at) Case -> makeRegex (globToRegex pat) } Failed, modules loaded: none. To my best understanding, Text.Regex.Posix.String provides instances for RegexLike Regex String and RegexMaker Regex CompOption ExecOption String, so it should work. On the other hand, I can see that regex in the error message is type variable, not a concrete type, so, perhaps not... Anyway, this is where I am stuck. May be there is a common pattern for resolving no instance for type of problems? Or, in Haskell terms, instance of SmartGuess typeclass for no instance for?

  • WPF ListView's GridView item expansion

    - by NT_
    Is it possible for a WPF ListView that uses a GridView view (ListView.View property) to have one of its items 'expanded' i.e. create some control underneath the item. I cannot simply add another item as it will assume the GridView item template, i.e. appear with columns rather than being a single usable area. This is how my list view currently looks like, it just has two columns: <ListView x:Name="SomeName" Style="{DynamicResource NormalListView}" > <ListView.View> <GridView ColumnHeaderContainerStyle="{DynamicResource NormalListViewHeader}"> <GridViewColumn Width="140" x:Name="Gvc_Name"> <GridViewColumn.CellTemplate> <DataTemplate> <Border Style="{DynamicResource ListViewCellSeparatorBorder}" > <StackPanel Orientation="Vertical" HorizontalAlignment="Stretch" VerticalAlignment="Stretch"> <TextBlock Text="{Binding Path=Name}" FontWeight="Bold" HorizontalAlignment="Left" /> <TextBlock Text="{Binding Path=Type}" HorizontalAlignment="Left" /> </StackPanel> </Border> </DataTemplate> </GridViewColumn.CellTemplate> <Border Style="{DynamicResource ListViewHeaderBorderContainer}"> <TextBlock Style="{DynamicResource ListViewHeaderText}" Text="Name"/> </Border> </GridViewColumn> <GridViewColumn Width="120" x:Name="Gvc_Timestamp"> <GridViewColumn.CellTemplate> <DataTemplate> <Border Style="{DynamicResource ListViewCellSeparatorBorder}"> <StackPanel Orientation="Vertical" HorizontalAlignment="Stretch" VerticalAlignment="Stretch"> <TextBlock Text="{Binding Path=TimestampDate}" HorizontalAlignment="Center" /> <TextBlock Text="{Binding Path=TimestampTime}" FontWeight="Bold" HorizontalAlignment="Center" /> </StackPanel> </Border> </DataTemplate> </GridViewColumn.CellTemplate> <Border Style="{DynamicResource ListViewHeaderBorderContainer}"> <TextBlock Style="{DynamicResource ListViewHeaderText}" Text="Processed"/> </Border> </GridViewColumn> </GridView> </ListView.View> </ListView> Many thanks!

  • h:dataTable alternating rows in JSF2

    - by Benchik
    Hello. I'm trying to make alternating rows in JSF2 h:dataTable (no richfaces or such) but i get an unexpected result. the table is built but it has a white grid shown (but i didn't specifiy any border) and there's no buttom line under each row. The CSS: .order-table{ border-collapse:collapse; } .order-table-header{ text-align:center; background:none repeat scroll 0 0 #E5E5E5; border-bottom:1px solid #95bce2; padding:16px; } .order-table-odd-row{ text-align:center; background:none repeat scroll 0 0 #FFFFFFF; border-top:1px solid #000000; } .order-table-even-row{ text-align:center; background:none repeat scroll 0 0 #ecf6fc; border-top:1px solid #BBBBBB; } table.order-table tr.over { background-color: #bcd4ec; } The table: <h:dataTable id="personsTable" value="#{personController.allPersons}" var="bean" styleClass="order-table" headerClass="order-table-header" rowClasses="order-table-odd-row,order-table-even-row"> <h:column> <f:facet name="header"> <h:outputText value="First Name" /> </f:facet> <h:outputText value="#{bean.firstName}"/> </h:column> <h:column> <f:facet name="header"> <h:outputText value="Last Name" /> </f:facet> <h:outputText value="#{bean.lastName}"/> </h:column> <h:column> <f:facet name="header"> <h:outputText value="Phone" /> </f:facet> <h:outputText value="#{bean.phone}"/> </h:column> </h:dataTable> and a small JQuery script: <script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function(){ $(".order-table tr").mouseover(function(){ $(this).addClass("over"); }); $(".order-table tr").mouseout(function(){ $(this).removeClass("over"); }); }); </script> The result is (notice the white grid that came from i don't know where. And also no underline which should come from the CSS): http://imagebin.org/132574

  • WPF ComboBox SelectedValue not updating from binding source.

    - by vg1890
    Here's my binding source object: Public Class MyListObject Private _mylist As New ObservableCollection(Of String) Private _selectedName As String Public Sub New(ByVal nameList As List(Of String), ByVal defaultName As String) For Each name In nameList _mylist.Add(name) Next _selectedName = defaultName End Sub Public ReadOnly Property MyList() As ObservableCollection(Of String) Get Return _mylist End Get End Property Public ReadOnly Property SelectedName() As String Get Return _selectedName End Get End Property End Class Here is my XAML: <Window x:Class="Window1" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" Title="Window1" Height="300" Width="300" xmlns:local="clr-namespace:WpfApplication1" > <Window.Resources> <ObjectDataProvider x:Key="MyListObject" ObjectInstance="" /> </Window.Resources> <Grid> <ComboBox Height="23" Margin="24,91,53,0" Name="ComboBox1" VerticalAlignment="Top" SelectedValue="{Binding Path=SelectedName, Source={StaticResource MyListObject}, Mode=OneWay}" ItemsSource="{Binding Path=MyList, Source={StaticResource MyListObject}, Mode=OneWay}" /> <Button Height="23" HorizontalAlignment="Left" Margin="47,0,0,87" Name="btn_List1" VerticalAlignment="Bottom" Width="75">List 1</Button> <Button Height="23" Margin="0,0,75,87" Name="btn_List2" VerticalAlignment="Bottom" HorizontalAlignment="Right" Width="75">List 2</Button> </Grid> </Window> Here's the code-behind: Class Window1 Private obj1 As MyListObject Private obj2 As MyListObject Private odp As ObjectDataProvider Public Sub New() InitializeComponent() Dim namelist1 As New List(Of String) namelist1.Add("Joe") namelist1.Add("Steve") obj1 = New MyListObject(namelist1, "Steve") . Dim namelist2 As New List(Of String) namelist2.Add("Bob") namelist2.Add("Tim") obj2 = New MyListObject(namelist2, "Tim") odp = DirectCast(Me.FindResource("MyListObject"), ObjectDataProvider) odp.ObjectInstance = obj1 End Sub Private Sub btn_List1_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.Windows.RoutedEventArgs) Handles btn_List1.Click odp.ObjectInstance = obj1 End Sub Private Sub btn_List2_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.Windows.RoutedEventArgs) Handles btn_List2.Click odp.ObjectInstance = obj2 End Sub End Class When the Window first loads, the bindings hook up fine. The ComboBox contains the names "Joe" and "Steve" and "Steve" is selected by default. However, when I click a button to switch the ObjectInstance to obj2, the ComboBox ItemsSource gets populated correctly in the dropdown, but the SelectedValue is set to Nothing instead of being equal to obj2.SelectedName. Thanks in advance!

  • Calling Save on a Configuration obj with a custom sectiongroup of type NameValueSectionHandler

    - by Allen
    I've got aConfiguration object that I can easily read and write settings from and call Save(ConfigurationSaveMode.Minimal, true) on and that typically works just fine. However, I now have a config file that has a custom sectionGroup defined of type System.Configuration.NameValueSectionHandler (I didn't write that part and I can't change it). Now when I call the Save method, it throws a TypeLoadException Message: Type System.Configuration.NameValueSectionHandler does not inherit from System.Configuration.ConfigurationSectionGroup. Callstack: at System.Configuration.TypeUtil.VerifyAssignableType (Type baseType, Type type, Boolean throwOnError) at System.Configuration.TypeUtil.GetConstructorWithReflectionPermission (Type type, Type baseType, Boolean throwOnError) at System.Configuration.MgmtConfigurationRecord.CreateSectionGroupFactory (FactoryRecord factoryRecord) at System.Configuration.MgmtConfigurationRecord.EnsureSectionGroupFactory (FactoryRecord factoryRecord) at System.Configuration.MgmtConfigurationRecord.GetSectionGroup (String configKey) at System.Configuration.ConfigurationSectionGroupCollection.Get (String name) at System.Configuration.ConfigurationSectionGroupCollection. <GetEnumerator>d__0.MoveNext() at System.Configuration.Configuration.ForceGroupsRecursive (ConfigurationSectionGroup group) at System.Configuration.Configuration.SaveAsImpl (String filename, ConfigurationSaveMode saveMode, Boolean forceSaveAll) at System.Configuration.Configuration.Save (ConfigurationSaveMode saveMode, Boolean forceSaveAll) at MyCompany.MyProduct.blah.blah.Save () in C:\\projects\\blah\\blah\\blah.cs:line blah For reference, the configuration goes like so <configuration> <configSections> ... normal sections here that work just fine, followed by ... <sectionGroup name="threadSettings" type="System.Configuration.NameValueSectionHandler"> <section name="T1" type="System.Configuration.DictionarySectionHandler"/> <section name="T2" type="System.Configuration.DictionarySectionHandler"/> <section name="T3" type="System.Configuration.DictionarySectionHandler"/> </sectionGroup> </configSections> <applicationSettings /> <threadSettings> <T1> <add key="key-here" value="value-here"/> </T1> ... T2 and T3 here as well, thats not interesting ... </threadSettings> </configuration> If I remove the actual sections and the definition for the custom section groups, I am able to read / write settings just fine and even call Save just fine. Obviously the custom section groups could be setup a little nicer but I can't fix that so I'm wondering: Is it possible to get the Configuration object to save if it has custom sectionGroups of the NameValueSectionHandler type

  • Fluent | Nhibernate multiple inheritance mapping?

    - by Broken Pipe
    I'm trying to map this classes: public interface IBusinessObject { Guid Id { get; set; } } public class Product { public virtual Guid Id { get; set; } public virtual int ProductTypeId { get; set; } } public class ProductWeSell : Product, IBusinessObject { } public class ProductWeDontSell : Product { } Using this Fluent mapping code: public class IBusinessObjectMap : ClassMap<IBusinessObject> { public IBusinessObjectMap() { Id(t => t.Id).GeneratedBy.Guid(); Table("BusinessObject"); } } public class ProductMap : ClassMap<Product> { public ProductMap() { Id(t => t.Id); DiscriminateSubClassesOnColumn("ProductTypeId", "null").Nullable(); } } public class ProductWeSellMap : SubclassMap<ProductWeSell> { public ProductWeSellMap() { DiscriminatorValue(1); KeyColumn("Id"); } } public class ProductWeDontSellMap : SubclassMap<ProductWeDontSell> { public ProductWeDontSellMap() { DiscriminatorValue(2); KeyColumn("Id"); } } But I get {"Duplicate class/entity mapping ProductWeSell"} error. And if we take a look at generated HBM, indeed it's duplicated, but i have no idea how to write this mapping without duplicating it if it's possible at all. Produced hbm: <hibernate-mapping xmlns="urn:nhibernate-mapping-2.2"> <class xmlns="urn:nhibernate-mapping-2.2" name="IBusinessObject" table="BusinessObject"> <joined-subclass name="ProductWeSell" table="ProductWeSell"/> </class> </hibernate-mapping> <hibernate-mapping xmlns="urn:nhibernate-mapping-2.2"> <class xmlns="urn:nhibernate-mapping-2.2" discriminator-value="null" name="Product" table="Product"> <discriminator type="String"> <column name="ProductTypeId" not-null="false" /> </discriminator> <subclass name="ProductWeDontSell" discriminator-value="2" /> <subclass name="ProductWeSell" discriminator-value="1" /> </class> </hibernate-mapping> So far I was unable to figure out how to map this using fluent Nhibernate (i haven't tried mapping this using hmb files). Any help appreciated Fluent or HBM files. The thing I'm trying to solve look identical to this topic: NHibernate inheritance mapping question

  • Mechanize Javascript ...

    - by Horace Ho
    I try to submit a form by Mechanize, however, I am not sure how to add necessary form valuables which are done by some Javascript. Since Mechanize does not support Javascript yet, and so I try to add the variables manually. The form source: <form name="aspnetForm" method="post" action="list.aspx" language="javascript" onkeypress="javascript:return WebForm_FireDefaultButton(event, '_ctl0_ContentPlaceHolder1_cmdSearch')" id="aspnetForm"> <input type="hidden" name="__EVENTTARGET" id="__EVENTTARGET" value="" /> <input type="hidden" name="__EVENTARGUMENT" id="__EVENTARGUMENT" value="" /> <input type="hidden" name="__LASTFOCUS" id="__LASTFOCUS" value="" /> <input type="hidden" name="__VIEWSTATE" id="__VIEWSTATE" value="/..." /> <script type="text/javascript"> <!-- var theForm = document.forms['aspnetForm']; if (!theForm) { theForm = document.aspnetForm; } function __doPostBack(eventTarget, eventArgument) { if (!theForm.onsubmit || (theForm.onsubmit() != false)) { theForm.__EVENTTARGET.value = eventTarget; theForm.__EVENTARGUMENT.value = eventArgument; theForm.submit(); } } // --> </script> <script language="javascript"> <!-- var _linkpostbackhit = 0; function _linkedClicked(id, key, str, a, b) { if (!b || !_linkpostbackhit) { if (!a) { __doPostBack(key, id); _linkpostbackhit = 1; } else { if (window.confirm(str)) { __doPostBack(key, id); _linkpostbackhit = 1; } } } return void(0); } // --> </script> ... <a href="JavaScript:_linkedClicked('123456','_ctl0:ContentPlaceHolder1:Link', '',0,1);">123456</a> ... </form> I tried to add the 2 variables: page.forms.first['__EVENTTARGET'] = '_ctl0:ContentPlaceHolder1:Link' page.forms.first['__EVENTARUGMENT'] = '123456' and submit the form: page.forms.first.click_button(page.forms.first.buttons.first) The result returned only (re)show the current list of links as if I have not clicked on any of the links. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

  • How can arguments to variadic functions be passed by reference in PHP?

    - by outis
    Assuming it's possible, how would one pass arguments by reference to a variadic function without generating a warning in PHP? We can no longer use the '&' operator in a function call, otherwise I'd accept that (even though it would be error prone, should a coder forget it). What inspired this is are old MySQLi wrapper classes that I unearthed (these days, I'd just use PDO). The only difference between the wrappers and the MySQLi classes is the wrappers throw exceptions rather than returning FALSE. class DBException extends RuntimeException {} ... class MySQLi_throwing extends mysqli { ... function prepare($query) { $stmt = parent::prepare($query); if (!$stmt) { throw new DBException($this->error, $this->errno); } return new MySQLi_stmt_throwing($this, $query, $stmt); } } // I don't remember why I switched from extension to composition, but // it shouldn't matter for this question. class MySQLi_stmt_throwing /* extends MySQLi_stmt */ { protected $_link, $_query, $_delegate; public function __construct($link, $query, $prepared) { //parent::__construct($link, $query); $this->_link = $link; $this->_query = $query; $this->_delegate = $prepared; } function bind_param($name, &$var) { return $this->_delegate->bind_param($name, $var); } function __call($name, $args) { //$rslt = call_user_func_array(array($this, 'parent::' . $name), $args); $rslt = call_user_func_array(array($this->_delegate, $name), $args); if (False === $rslt) { throw new DBException($this->_link->error, $this->errno); } return $rslt; } } The difficulty lies in calling methods such as bind_result on the wrapper. Constant-arity functions (e.g. bind_param) can be explicitly defined, allowing for pass-by-reference. bind_result, however, needs all arguments to be pass-by-reference. If you call bind_result on an instance of MySQLi_stmt_throwing as-is, the arguments are passed by value and the binding won't take. try { $id = Null; $stmt = $db->prepare('SELECT id FROM tbl WHERE ...'); $stmt->execute() $stmt->bind_result($id); // $id is still null at this point ... } catch (DBException $exc) { ... } Since the above classes are no longer in use, this question is merely a matter of curiosity. Alternate approaches to the wrapper classes are not relevant. Defining a method with a bunch of arguments taking Null default values is not correct (what if you define 20 arguments, but the function is called with 21?). Answers don't even need to be written in terms of MySQL_stmt_throwing; it exists simply to provide a concrete example.

  • markitup wysiwyg with a standard HTML form

    - by Chris
    Hi, I'm trying to use the markitup editor on my site and I'm having a problem trying to figure out what I need to do to submit the text area to my server side script. I'm guessing there is something simple that needs to be done but my lack of JS/JQuery knowledge is making it really hard to find a answer The editor works fine, I just want to use my own form and submit button with it, however when I try to submit the form I don't get any of the textarea data in my script. Any idea what I need to do? This is the min that works (before submit) In the Head of my HTML <script type="text/javascript" > <!-- $(document).ready(function() { $("#markItUp").markItUp(mySettings); }); --> </script> And the body: <form id="postpreview" name="newpost" action="/someurl" method="POST" /> <input type="hidden" name="key1" value="val1" /> <input type="hidden" name="key2" value="val2" /> <textarea name="text" id="markItUp"></textarea> <input id="SubmitPost" type="image" value="Continue" name="Doit" class="preview" src="/img/somimage" /> </form> As I said, everything prior to the submit works but once I submit I don't get anything for the form data element "text". I tried doing this in the head: <script type="text/javascript" > <!-- $(document).ready(function() { $("#markItUp").markItUp(mySettings); $("#SubmitPost").click(function(){ data = markItUp.textarea.value; $.post("scripturl",{ key1: "value1", key2: "value2", text: data }); }); }); --> </script> I've also tried: <script type="text/javascript" > <!-- $(document).ready(function() { $("#markItUp").markItUp(mySettings); $("#postpreview").submit(function(){ var data = $("#markItUp").html(); $.post("live",{ func: "posting", text: data }); return false; }); }); --> </script> And I have no luck - the last attempt above just disabled the form (so clicking on the submit or preview buttons did nothing). Any ideas? I guessing its really simple to use my own form but I have no clue how to do it. TIA!

  • PHP: POST Request to ASP.NET website results in 500 server error when html tags included

    - by RyanJD
    My situation: I need to send text to an ASP.NET web service using POST. The entire page there is a form: <form name="aspnetForm" method="post" action="Discussion.aspx?classroom=lG39il1cotOAGJwiNvmQlIPfwmjikD%2fAHLhjjGInAZQ%3d&amp;Page=Posts&amp;ID=794239&amp;Sort=&amp;SortOrder=" id="aspnetForm"> So, I figured if I sent a POST request to this form with the correct inputs it would work. And, to an extent, it has. The form inputs are as follows: <input type="hidden" name="__EVENTTARGET" id="__EVENTTARGET" value="" /> <input type="hidden" name="__EVENTARGUMENT" id="__EVENTARGUMENT" value="" /> <input type="hidden" name="__VIEWSTATE" id="__VIEWSTATE" value="/wEPDw..." /> <input type="hidden" name="__EVENTVALIDATION" id="__EVENTVALIDATION" value="/wEWYQLrt..." /> And a bunch of other inputs. The code I have used is as follows: // grab form info $inputs = extract_form_inputs($discussion['body']); $inputs['__EVENTTARGET'] = 'ctl00$cphMain$ctl01$btnSubmit'; $inputs['ctl00$cphMain$ctl01$tbNickname'] = "Your Instructor"; $inputs['ctl00$cphMain$ctl01$reMessage'] = $message; // submit form $r = request_send($discussion['url'], $inputs); extract_form_inputs does exactly that. $discussion['body'] is the content of the page. $discussion['url'] is the URL of the page. request_send has two arguments: ($url, $post_array). It performs rawurlencode on each element of the array and joins them up as keypairs, in the same way as http_build_query. The request is url encoded properly, sent to the correct page, and works fine until I insert html tags. I have checked - the 'greater than' and 'less than' symbols ('<' and '') are url-encoded properly. However, the server responds with a 500 error. It accepts any other text. Has anyone else come across this sort of problem? Is there some setting on an ASP.NET server that denies html? I can't see this being the case - there is a rich text editor on the website that I am sending requests to. This text editor performs the same request as I am, only I am doing it remotely. The rich text editor sends html to the form - I have checked that, too, using javascript. Note: I do not have the power to modify the ASP.NET server.

  • Datagrid using usercontrol

    - by klawusel
    Hello I am fighting with this problem: I have a usercontrol which contains a textbox and a button (the button calls some functions to set the textbox's text), here is the xaml: <UserControl x:Class="UcSelect" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" x:Name="Control1Name" <Grid x:Name="grid1" MaxHeight="25"> <Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <ColumnDefinition /> <ColumnDefinition Width="25"/> </Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <Grid.RowDefinitions> <RowDefinition Height="25"/> </Grid.RowDefinitions> <TextBox x:Name="txSelect" Text="{Binding UcText, Mode=TwoWay}" /> <Button x:Name="pbSelect" Background="Red" Grid.Column="1" Click="pbSelect_Click">...</Button> </Grid> And here the code behind: Partial Public Class UcSelect Private Shared Sub textChangedCallBack(ByVal [property] As DependencyObject, ByVal args As DependencyPropertyChangedEventArgs) Dim UcSelectBox As UcSelect = DirectCast([property], UcSelect) End Sub Public Property UcText() As String Get Return GetValue(UcTextProperty) End Get Set(ByVal value As String) SetValue(UcTextProperty, value) End Set End Property Public Shared ReadOnly UcTextProperty As DependencyProperty = _ DependencyProperty.Register("UcText", _ GetType(String), GetType(UcSelect), _ New FrameworkPropertyMetadata(String.Empty, FrameworkPropertyMetadataOptions.BindsTwoWayByDefault, New PropertyChangedCallback(AddressOf textChangedCallBack))) Public Sub New() InitializeComponent() grid1.DataContext = Me End Sub Private Sub pbSelect_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.Windows.RoutedEventArgs) 'just demo UcText = UcText + "!" End Sub End Class The UserControl works fine when used as a single control in this way: <local:UcSelect Grid.Row="1" x:Name="ucSingle1" UcText="{Binding FirstName, Mode=TwoWay}"/> Now I wanted to use the control in a custom datagrid column. As I like to have binding support I choosed to derive from DataGridtextColumn instead of using a DataGridTemplateColumn, here is the derived column class: Public Class DerivedColumn Inherits DataGridTextColumn Protected Overloads Overrides Function GenerateElement(ByVal oCell As DataGridCell, ByVal oDataItem As Object) As FrameworkElement Dim oElement = MyBase.GenerateElement(oCell, oDataItem) Return oElement End Function Protected Overloads Overrides Function GenerateEditingElement(ByVal oCell As DataGridCell, ByVal oDataItem As Object) As FrameworkElement Dim oUc As New UcSelect Dim oBinding As Binding = CType(Me.Binding, Binding) oUc.SetBinding(UcSelect.UcTextProperty, oBinding) Return oUc End Function End Class The column is used in xaml in the following way: <local:DerivedColumn Header="Usercontrol" Binding="{Binding FirstName, Mode=TwoWay}"></local:DerivedColumn> If I start my program all seems to be fine, but changes I make in the custom column are not reflected in the object (property "FirstName"), the changes are simply rolled back when leaving the cell. I think there must be something wrong with my GenerateEditingElement code, but have no idea ... Any Help would really be appreciated Regards Klaus

  • WPF / Silverlight Binding when setting DataTemplate programically

    - by Daniel
    I have my little designer tool (my program). On the left side I have TreeView and on the right site I have Accordion. When I select a node I want to dynamically build Accordion Items based on Properties from DataContext of selected node. Selecting nodes works fine, and when I use this sample code for testing it works also. XAML code: <layoutToolkit:Accordion x:Name="accPanel" SelectionMode="ZeroOrMore" SelectionSequence="Simultaneous"> <layoutToolkit:AccordionItem Header="Controller Info"> <StackPanel Orientation="Horizontal" DataContext="{Binding}"> <TextBlock Text="Content:" /> <TextBlock Text="{Binding Path=Name}" /> </StackPanel> </layoutToolkit:AccordionItem> </layoutToolkit:Accordion> C# code: private void treeSceneNode_SelectedItemChanged(object sender, RoutedPropertyChangedEventArgs<object> e) { if (e.NewValue != e.OldValue) { if (e.NewValue is SceneNode) { accPanel.DataContext = e.NewValue; //e.NewValue is a class that contains Name property } } } But the problem occurs when I'm trying to achive this using DateTemplate and dynamically build AccordingItem, the Binding is not working: <layoutToolkit:Accordion x:Name="accPanel" SelectionMode="ZeroOrMore" SelectionSequence="Simultaneous" /> and DataTemplate in my ResourceDictionary <DataTemplate x:Key="dtSceneNodeContent"> <StackPanel Orientation="Horizontal" DataContext="{Binding}"> <TextBlock Text="Content:" /> <TextBlock Text="{Binding Path=Name}" /> </StackPanel> </DataTemplate> and C# code: private void treeSceneNode_SelectedItemChanged(object sender, RoutedPropertyChangedEventArgs<object> e) { if (e.NewValue != e.OldValue) { ResourceDictionary rd = new ResourceDictionary(); rd.Source = new Uri("/SilverGL.GUI;component/SilverGLDesignerResourceDictionary.xaml", UriKind.RelativeOrAbsolute); if (e.NewValue is SceneNode) { accPanel.DataContext = e.NewValue; AccordionItem accController = new AccordionItem(); accController.Header = "Controller Info"; accController.ContentTemplate = rd["dtSceneNodeContent"] as DataTemplate; accPanel.Items.Add(accController); } else { // Other type of node } } } I really need help with this issue. Thanks for any support.

  • Using Hibernate to do a query involving two tables

    - by Nathan Spears
    I'm inexperienced with sql in general, so using Hibernate is like looking for an answer before I know exactly what the question is. Please feel free to correct any misunderstandings I have. I am on a project where I have to use Hibernate. Most of what I am doing is pretty basic and I could copy and modify. Now I would like to do something different and I'm not sure how configuration and syntax need to come together. Let's say I have two tables. Table A has two (relevant) columns, user GUID and manager GUID. Obviously managers can have more than one user under them, so queries on manager can return more than one row. Additionally, a manager can be managing the same user on multiple projects, so the same user can be returned multiple times for the same manager query. Table B has two columns, user GUID and user full name. One-to-one mapping there. I want to do a query on manager GUID from Table A, group them by unique User GUID (so the same User isn't in the results twice), then return those users' full names from Table B. I could do this in sql without too much trouble but I want to use Hibernate so I don't have to parse the sql results by hand. That's one of the points of using Hibernate, isn't it? Right now I have Hibernate mappings that map each column in Table A to a field (well the get/set methods I guess) in a DAO object that I wrote just to hold that Table's data. I could also use the Hibernate DAOs I have to access each table separately and do each of the things I mentioned above in separate steps, but that would be less efficient (I assume) that doing one query. I wrote a Service object to hold the data that gets returned from the query (my example is simplified - I'm going to keep some other data from Table A and get multiple columns from Table B) but I'm at a loss for how to write a DAO that can do the join, or use the DAOs I have to do the join. FYI, here is a sample of my hibernate config file (simplified to match my example): <hibernate-mapping package="com.my.dao"> <class name="TableA" table="table_a"> <id name="pkIndex" column="pk_index" /> <property name="userGuid" column="user_guid" /> <property name="managerGuid" column="manager_guid" /> </class> </hibernate-mapping> So then I have a DAOImplementation class that does queries and returns lists like public List<TableA> findByHQL(String hql, Map<String, String> params) etc. I'm not sure how "best practice" that is either.

  • Form won't submit properly in IE

    - by VUELA
    Hi! My simple donation form submits properly except for Internet Explorer. I'm sure it has to do with issues with change() and focus() or blur(), but all my hundreds of attempts so far have failed me. I tried using .click() instead of change() as mentioned in this post:http://stackoverflow.com/questions/208471/getting-jquery-to-recognise-change-in-ie (and elsewhere), but I could not get it to work! ... so I am overlooking something simple perhaps. Any help is greatly appreciated!! • How to do validation on both client and server side for a service which is a store procedure(return a complex type)

    - by Tai
    Hi I am doing Silverlight 4 In my database, I have a store procedure(having two parameters) which returns rows (with extra fields). So i have to make a complex type for those rows on my Models. And Making a service to call that function import store procedure. The RIA will automatically create a matching Entity(to the complex type) and an operation for me. However, I don't know how to validation the parameters of the operation on both client and server side. For example, the parameter must be an integer only (and greater than 10) or datetime only. below is my xaml code. I am using DomainDataSource control and don't know how to validate the two field parameter.It has two TextBox to let the user types in the value of parameters. Plz help me, thank you <riaControls:DomainDataSource AutoLoad="False" d:DesignData="{d:DesignInstance my1:USPFinancialAccountHistory, CreateList=true}" Height="0" LoadedData="uSPFinancialAccountHistoryDomainDataSource_LoadedData" Name="uSPFinancialAccountHistoryDomainDataSource" QueryName="GetFinancialAccountHistoryQuery" Width="0" Margin="0,0,705,32"> <riaControls:DomainDataSource.DomainContext> <my:USPFinancialAccountHistoryContext /> </riaControls:DomainDataSource.DomainContext> <riaControls:DomainDataSource.QueryParameters> <riaControls:Parameter ParameterName="fiscalYear" Value="{Binding ElementName=fiscalYearTextBox, Path=Text}" /> <riaControls:Parameter ParameterName="fiscalPeriod" Value="{Binding ElementName=fiscalPeriodTextBox, Path=Text}" /> </riaControls:DomainDataSource.QueryParameters> </riaControls:DomainDataSource> <StackPanel Height="30" HorizontalAlignment="Left" Orientation="Horizontal" VerticalAlignment="Top"> <sdk:Label Content="Fiscal Year:" Margin="3" VerticalAlignment="Center" /> <TextBox Name="fiscalYearTextBox" Width="60" /> <sdk:Label Content="Fiscal Period:" Margin="3" VerticalAlignment="Center" /> <TextBox Name="fiscalPeriodTextBox" Width="60" /> <Button Command="{Binding Path=LoadCommand, ElementName=uSPFinancialAccountHistoryDomainDataSource}" Content="Load" Margin="3" Name="uSPFinancialAccountHistoryDomainDataSourceLoadButton" /> </StackPanel> <telerik:RadGridView ItemsSource="{Binding ElementName=uSPFinancialAccountHistoryDomainDataSource, Path=Data}" Name="uSPFinancialAccountHistoryRadGridView" Grid.Row="1" IsReadOnly="True" DataLoadMode="Asynchronous" AutoGenerateColumns="False" ShowGroupPanel="False"> <telerik:RadGridView.Columns> <telerik:GridViewDataColumn Header="Account Number" DataMemberBinding="{Binding AccountNumber}"/> <telerik:GridViewDataColumn Header="Department Number" DataMemberBinding="{Binding DepartmentNumber}"/> <telerik:GridViewDataColumn Header="Period code" DataMemberBinding="{Binding PeriodCode}" /> <telerik:GridViewDataColumn Header="Total Debit" DataMemberBinding="{Binding TotalDebit}" DataFormatString="{}{0:C2}"/> <telerik:GridViewDataColumn Header="Total Credit" DataMemberBinding="{Binding TotalCredit}" DataFormatString="{}{0:C2}"/> <telerik:GridViewDataColumn Header="Period Total" DataMemberBinding="{Binding PeriodTotal}" DataFormatString="{}{0:C2}"/> <telerik:GridViewDataColumn Header="Year To Date" DataMemberBinding="{Binding YearToDate}" DataFormatString="{}{0:C2}"/> </telerik:RadGridView.Columns> </telerik:RadGridView>

  • Declare private static members in F#?

    - by acidzombie24
    I decided to port the class in C# below to F# as an exercise. It was difficult. I only notice three problems 1) Greet is visible 2) I can not get v to be a static class variable 3) I do not know how to set the greet member in the constructor. How do i fix these? The code should be similar enough that i do not need to change any C# source. ATM only Test1.v = 21; does not work C# using System; using System.Collections.Generic; using System.Linq; using System.Text; namespace CsFsTest { class Program { static void Main(string[] args) { Test1.hi("stu"); new Test1().hi(); Test1.v = 21; var a = new Test1("Stan"); a.hi(); a.a = 9; Console.WriteLine("v = {0} {1} {2}", a.a, a.b, a.NotSTATIC()); } } class Test1 { public int a; public int b { get { return a * 2; } } string greet = "User"; public static int v; public Test1() {} public Test1(string name) { greet = name; } public static void hi(string greet) { Console.WriteLine("Hi {0}", greet); } public void hi() { Console.WriteLine("Hi {0} #{1}", greet, v); } public int NotSTATIC() { return v; } } } F# namespace CsFsTest type Test1 = (* public int a; public int b { get { return a * 2; } } string greet = "User"; public static int v; *) [<DefaultValue>] val mutable a : int member x.b = x.a * 2 member x.greet = "User" (*!! Needs to be private *) [<DefaultValue>] val mutable v : int (*!! Needs to be static *) (* public Test1() {} public Test1(string name) { greet = name; } *) new () = {} new (name) = { } (* public static void hi(string greet) { Console.WriteLine("Hi {0}", greet); } public void hi() { Console.WriteLine("Hi {0} #{1}", greet, v); } public int NotSTATIC() { return v; } *) static member hi(greet) = printfn "hi %s" greet member x.hi() = printfn "hi %s #%i" x.greet x.v member x.NotSTATIC() = x.v

  • Start a short video when an incoming call is detected, first case using the emulator.

    - by Emanuel
    I want to be able to start a short video on an incoming phone call. The video will loop until the call is answered. I've loaded the video onto the emulator sdcard then created the appropriate level avd with a path to the sdcard.iso file on disk. Since I'm running on a Mac OS x snow leopard I am able to confirm the contents of the sdcard. All testing has be done on the Android emulator. In a separate project TestVideo I created an activity that just launches the video from the sdcard. That works as expected. Then I created another project TestIncoming that creates an activity that creates a PhoneStateListener that overrides the onCallStateChanged(int state, String incomingNumber) method. In the onCallStateChanged() method I check if state == TelephonyManager.CALL_STATE_RINGING. If true I create an Intent that starts the video. I'm actually using the code from the TestVideo project above. Here is the code snippet. PhoneStateListener callStateListener = new PhoneStateListener() { @Override public void onCallStateChanged(int state, String incomingNumber) { if(state == TelelphonyManager.CALL_STATE_RINGING) { Intent launchVideo = new Intent(MyActivity.this, LaunchVideo.class); startActivity(launchVideo); } } }; The PhoneStateListener is added to the TelephonyManager.listen() method like so, telephonyManager.listen(callStateListener, PhoneStateListener.LISTEN_CALL_STATE); Here is the part I'm unclear on, the manifest. What I've tried is the following: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <manifest xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" package="com.example.incomingdemo" android:versionCode="1" android:versionName="1.0"> <application android:icon="@drawable/icon" android:label="@string/app_name"> <activity android:name=".IncomingVideoDemo" android:label="@string/app_name"> <intent-filter> <action android:name="android.intent.action.ANSWER" /> <category android:name="android.intent.category.DEFAULT" /> </intent-filter> </activity> <activity android:name=".LaunchVideo" android:label="LaunchVideo"> </activity> </application> <uses-sdk android:minSdkVersion="2" /> <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE"/> </manifest> I've run the debugger after setting breakpoints in the IncomingVideoDemo activity where the PhoneStateListener is created and none of the breakpoints are hit. Any insights into solving this problem is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
