How to invert arrow image placed before the first cell when tableview cells are swiped beyond first

Hi all, In my application, I need to add this functionality that there should be an arrow image upside down placed before first cell and some text like "Pull down to refresh" and when user pulls the table beyond this then this arrow gets inverted and text changes to "Release to refresh" and when the user releases his finger, the data is refreshed and rows get added to that point So now this initial arrow and text moves upwards before the first cell again. Can anybody tell me wheather there's any event that does this? Or else which event I need to capture in order to add this functionality? Thanks in advance.

adding a background color to search term results

I'm trying to add a background color to a user submitted search result when a user enters a search term on a page (which is basically one big table). This is a text based search. I'm using jquery to show/hide the table rows that do not have the search term as text within the TR, but I'd ideally like to take the additional step of taking the search term (the entered value), and matching any of those text terms in the remaining (showing) rows and adding say a yellow background to the word(s). Is it possible to control the whole Gnome desktop with vi-like commands?

I know with readline you can use emacs or vi commands to edit the input of several interactive text programs. I wonder if there exists such a similar facility to control the whole desktop in Gnome or in any other desktop environment. Maybe it could be a program that intercepts keystrokes and process them in the way vi does, translating sequences of characters to desktop commands and delivering to the active window only the text that is writen in insert mode. Do you know some tool like that?

I admit, I'm an .NET n00b. Basically what I'm trying to do is I have a page with a text box on it and an image button. On click of the image button I want it to show a view control I have set up. Inside this view control is an image and some text. Well when I click on the button for submit, I get the "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." error message. Where am I going wrong?

Tracking changes to individual fields - Silverlight

I have a page which has got several text boxes. These controls are bound to a model. I am using MVVM. Assume I have three text boxes, FirstName, LastName and Company. So in the model, I have three properties to bind. Now I need to track the changes happened to each field. If FirstName changes from original value, I need the text box to be colored with a different background color. Currently I am creating another property called FirstNameChanged and binding the background to this property. This will be updated when I change the FirstName. For 3 fields, this seems to be OK. But when I have more fields, the number of properties will be too much. Is there a better way to handle this?

I have a simple XML structure like <main> <node1></node1> </main> and this can have any number of sub-nodes or values like: <main> <node1><p>texttext text</p> more text <br/></node1> </main> I want to check if the node is empty or not: I'm doing something like: <xsl:if test="string-length(main/node1//text())>0"> But it does not work as if there are multiple tags, then string-length function will break coz of multiple arguments. Any help to solve this issue is really appreciated.

With the code below I am able to change the text in the view, however the text in the tab remains the same. Hi, I used csv2xls.pl to convert a text log into .xls file, and then apply create chart function as following: my $chart3 = $workbook-add_chart( type = 'line' , embedded = 1); Configure the series. $chart3-add_series( categories = '=Sheet1!$B$2:$B$64', values = '=Sheet1!$C$2:$C$64', name = 'Test data series 1', ); Add some labels. $chart3-set_title( name = 'Bridge Rate Analysis' ); $chart3-set_x_axis( name = 'Packet Size ' ); $chart3-set_y_axis( name = 'BVI Rate' ); Insert the chart into the main worksheet. $worksheet-insert_chart( 'G2', $chart3 ); ========== I can see the chart in .xls file, however, all the data is in text format, not number, therefore, the chart looks wrong. I am wondering can you tell me how to convert text into number before apply this create chart function? One other thing is any idea how to apply sorting on the .xls file before create chart? Thanks. I want to create some diagrams for some papers. Diagrams will contain some text, e.g. some console output. I need images for using also in html files. There is TikZ so can create images like this: http://www.texample.net/tikz/examples/boxes-with-text-and-math/ http://www.texample.net/tikz/examples/rule-based-diagram/ http://www.texample.net/tikz/examples/scenario-tree/ but as a result I get some ps/pdf files, not images. What's more I want to generate the pictures from text files as I want to track changes in some VCS, any binary files are not suitable for that.

I was just reading this article here to understand about how view state and ASP.NET page cycle works. I just don't understand this part here: If this were the case, then in step 3 the Label's Text property would be assigned to "Hello, World!" in the instantiation stage, but would not be reassigned to "Goodbye, Everyone!" in the load view state stage. Therefore, from the end user's perspective, the Label's Text property would be "Goodbye, Everyone!" in step 2, but would seemingly be reset to its original value ("Hello, World!") in step 3, after clicking the Empty Postback button. This paragraph is after the three step 1, step 2, step 3 boxes. Why wouldn't the label's text property be reassigned to "Goodbye, Everyone" in the load view state?

Just down vote me if not :p Basically, what I'm looking for is a way to push a windows hotkey and have whatever text is in the clipboard be stripped of formatting. An example of what the macro could do: I push (whatever hotkey combo here) open notepad.exe Paste to notepad from clipboard Select all text in notepad Copy/Cut all text from notepad Close notepad I'm just wondering if someone has done something like this before, or knows how it could be accomplished. I think this could be a huge time-saver for almost anyone. I find myself doing this all the time when cutting and pasting between different office applications, etc.

How do I set font size to 0px in IE6?

I have an unordered list, I'm trying to hide the text in the list. I can do this 2 ways that i know of: font-color: transparent; font-size: 0px; I prefer the 0px method as its not selectable. This issue is neither way works in IE6. The first way just doesn't work in IE6 at all, the 2nd leave a 1PX high font. Is there a way to hide the text in IE6? This is a visual thing, I know you can read the text by reading the source and that is OK, I just need it to visually not be there.

Format table header

I have a table with slanted text in the header row, the only problem is that the text still makes the width of the columns way to large. Is there any way to squish together the table columns so that they are about the width of the select boxes? Or is there a way to place the text there without it in the header and maybe just use a <div> or <p>? Flatten Word document

I have a document with some precise formatting, created in Word. This doc was converted to PDF for distribution. Now the original is lost, and reconverting to Word using a PDF to word add-on from Microsoft results in many text boxes in the new DOC file. How can I 'flatten' this to remove the text boxes and retain most of the formatting in order to update the contents? Recreating the original formatting would take a long time.
