  • WHY Google does not ban these sites using this SEO pattern? [on hold]

    I have seen some sites using a different kind of SEO to promote copyrighted materials such as movies. They also have submitted their site to Google webmaster tools but still now did not get banned. Their Alexa ranks are 7000 or less. On the other hand I have run 5 movie affiliate sites and all of them got banned by Google within a short period of time. I have copied the url of the homepage of solarmovie.me and pasted it on the google search and instead of the homepage url I have seen that their category or tag shows as the homepage (www.solarmovie.me/watch-category/hollyw... Now is solarmovie.me publishing its posts as a single page or something else? I tried to find out what kind of SEO or coding that was, but I couldn't since I have very little knowledge about coding. Also I have seen the same thing with ALLUC.TO in google search (www.alluc.to/popular-links.html). Could anyone please help with the SEO of this kind so that I don't get banned by google frequently or index removed. All SEO webmaster i need your help!!!! Please give me some good tips for this type of SEO. Thank You Very Much

    I've got a pretty much default sites-enabled set up in my nginx on debian squeeze and i'm now trying to get it to serve up my munin graphs on myhost/munin/ Heres the location i've added to the config location /munin { root /var/cache/munin/www/; index index.htm index.html; } And here is the error I recieve: 2012/07/09 23:52:03 [error] 3598#0: *13 "/var/cache/munin/www/munin/index.htm" is not found (2: No such file or directory), client: 93.*.*.*, server: , request: "GET /munin/ HTTP/1.1", host: "" This set up used to 'just work' in apache. I'm new to nginx so a bit lost as to why its adding the extra /munin when looking for the path. Any advice?

  • Perl Scripts Seem to be Caching?

    I'm running a perl script via mod_perl with Apache. I am trying to parse parameters in a restful fashion (aka GET www.domain.com/rest.pl/Object/ID). If I specify the ID like this: GET www.domain.com/rest.pl/Object/1234 I will get object 1234 back as a result as expected. However, if I specify an incorrect hacked url like this GET www.domain.com/rest.pl/Object/123 I will also get back object 1234. I am pretty sure that the issue in this question is happening so I packaged up my method and invoked it from my core script out of the package. Even after that I am still seeing the threads returning seemingly cached data. One of the recommendations in the aforementioned article is to replace my with our. My impression from reading up on our vs my was that our is global and my is local. My assumption is the the local variable gets reinitialized each time. That said, like in my code example below I am resetting the variables each time with new values.   • Parsing GeoRSS Feed with jQuery

    I'm attempting to use the jQuery jFeed plugin for parsing an Atom, GeoRSS feed and I'm running into issues extracting the information I need. For example, I need to extract the summary element and I would like to render the contents in a div on my HTML page. Additionally, I'd like to extract the contents from the georss:point elements and pass them into Google Maps to render them as points on a map. The problem is that it seems jFeed is stripping out the GeoRSS-related information. For example, I can extract the title element without issues, but it seems it doesn't extract the summary or georss:point elements, at all.   • HOWTO: disable jmx in activemq network of brokers (spring, xbean)

    Since I've struggled a lot with this problem, I am posting my solution. Disabling jmx in an activemq network of brokers removes race conditions about the registration of the jmx connector. When starting multiple activemq servers on the same machine: Failed to start jmx connector: Cannot bind to URL [rmi://localhost:1099/jmxrmi]: javax.naming.NameAlreadyBoundException: jmxrmi [Root exception is java.rmi.AlreadyBoundException: jmxrmi] Another problem with this is, that even if you don't cause a race condition, this exception can still occur. Even when starting one broker after another while waiting for them to initialize properly in between. If one process is run by root as the first instance and the other as a normal user, somehow the user process tries to register its own jmx connector, though there already is one. Or another exception which happens when the broker that successfully registered the jmx connector goes down: Failed to start jmx connector: Cannot bind to URL [rmi://localhost:1099/jmxrmi]: javax.naming.ServiceUnavailableException [Root exception is java.rmi.ConnectException: Connection refused to host: localhost; nested exception is: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused] Those exceptions cause the network of brokers to stop working, or to not work at all. The trick to disable jmx was, that jmx had to be disabled in the connectionfactory aswell. The documentation http://activemq.apache.org/jmx.html does not say that this is needed explicitly. I created a simple Facade encapsulating the Facebook REST API as well as added 'rough' MVC approach for screen navigation. I have tested on JDE 4.5 using 8320 simulator.     I have two pages: Default.aspx and WebForm1.aspx. One of these pages stores a session variable which works fine until I add code which ads expiration date to SessionID cookie. What happens is: Open default.aspx Set-Cookie ASP.NET_SessionId=14jhsdfq23jkh13jkh12k1; expires=Fri, 19-Mar-2010 07:31:47 GMT; path=/ Click on link to open WebForm1.aspx No cookies set Click on link to open Default.aspx (Cookie is reset) Set-Cookie ASP.NET_SessionId=; expires=Fri, 19-Mar-2010 07:31:47 GMT; path=/ So the question would be how should I set SessionID cookie expiration date correctly?   • Mule xml to soap problem

    Hi, I'm not sure if there many Mule users on here but I'm hoping someone might be able to help me! I'm having a problem calling a webservice from Mule using Axis. I've created a fairly simple example where I have xml in a file being read by Mule, it's then transformed into a Document and sent to the webservice.     Hello everybody. I am calling the webservices. The web service returns data in xml format. Now the problem is the xml data is not being received in proper format. In place of "<", "" it returns in html format like-(<) and (>) . So i assigned the xmldata to a NsMutableString and replaced the escape characters so that the format of xml data is proper. Then i reassigned the NSMutableString to NSData so that i can parse the tags. but the problem is the xmlparser stops right where the xml data is. Where i replaced the tags. it doesnt go further. can anybody make me understand what is going on????   • Firefox not running jQuery for XHTML output

    Okay, I did a crappy job of describing the issue in my previous post. I think the discussion got sidetracked from the core issue - so I'm going to try again. Mea Culpa to Elzo Valugi about the aforementioned thread. When I run this in Internet Explorer, I get the alert 'Hiya!' as well as the expected: Hi Hello but when I run it in Firefox (3.0.1), I still get the alert, but the jQuery does not insert the paragraph into the DOM, and I just get this: Hi If I change the stylesheet to method="html" it works fine, and I get (along with the alert): Hi Hello Why doesn't Firefox run the jQuery with an XHTML document? Has anyone any experience with this problem? EDIT: ADDITIONAL INFO I can successfully insert elements into the documents this way in Firefox (method="xml"): var frag = document.createDocumentFragment(); var p = document.createElement('p'); p.appendChild(document.createTextNode('Ipsum Lorem')); frag.appendChild(p); $('body').append(frag); but I'm running into a similar problem with the .remove() method. It is looking more and more that Firefox doesn't construct a DOM from XML that jQuery can relate to, or somesuch.

  • Spring / Hibernate / JUnit - No Hibernate Session bound to Thread

    Hi I'm trying to access the current hibernate session in a test case, and getting the following error: org.hibernate.HibernateException: No Hibernate Session bound to thread, and configuration does not allow creation of non-transactional one here at org.springframework.orm.hibernate3.SpringSessionContext.currentSession(SpringSessionContext.java:63) at org.hibernate.impl.SessionFactoryImpl.getCurrentSession(SessionFactoryImpl.java:574) I've clearly missed some sort of setup, but not sure what. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is my first crack at Hibernate / Spring etc, and the learning curve is certainly steep!   • How to create a HTML5 + SVG document using the PHP XSLTProcessor

    For a little project about XML I try to use HTML5 as it has SVG and WAI-ARIA Support. I also want to use a XSL stylesheet for my document. But I can't get a valid HTML5 document with a nested SVG. Here are some version I tested so far: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"> <xsl:output indent="yes" method="xml"/> <xsl:template match="/"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> // content with the svg tag in the body </html> </xsl:template> </xsl:stylesheet> In combination with header('Content-Type: application/xml'); it works and produces this HTML output: <?xml version="1.0"?> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> // content with the svg tag in the body </html> But it is not HTML5 and without a DOCTYPE I get a lot of errors on the W3 validator. So trying to get a HTML5 document I used the following XSL: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"> <xsl:output indent="yes" method="html"/> <xsl:template match="/"> <xsl:text disable-output-escaping='yes'>&lt;!DOCTYPE HTML></xsl:text> <html> // content with the svg tag in the body </html> </xsl:template> </xsl:stylesheet> But unfortunately that will produce thze following HTML output: <!DOCTYPE HTML> <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8"> .... </head> // content with the svg tag in the body </html> As you can see it's regular HTML5 but using it in combination with header('Content-Type: application/xml'); it fails because of the missing slash at the end of the meta tag (which was automatically created). Using header('Content-Type: image/xhtml+svg'); or header('Content-Type: text/html'); there is no XML parsing error, but the page will not show the SVG as a graph but as text (without the tags). Can anyone tell me how to avoid the meta tag to be inserted or how to set a propper Content-Type that will make the browser rendern the SVG. Or even any other hint to get this working. I would really like to keep HTML5 to be able to keep the WAI-ARIA Landmark Roles an the HTML5 tags like NAV and FOOTER.
