• How can I display different icons for same file extension

  Visual Studio has *.SLN files for 2008, and 2010. In explorer, the icon associated with the file is based on the version somehow. I was always under the impression that the associated icon just looked at the extension, but obviously there is more going on. I haven't been able to find any resources or tutorials on unit testing with VS2010 specifically - has anyone found a good walk-through? I'm also open to persuasion that we should stick with NUnit or the like, if anyone knows a reason to avoid the built-in tools.

  We have several .net dlls that are being stripped of version information when they are copied to our production environment. The Servers in prod are windows 2008 and we are using robocopy to move the files. It does not always strip the info, but when it does, it errors out the entire site.
