• Heavily customized split view controller in iPad app -- how?

  I was going through some of the early screenshots of the first iPad apps and I came upon this: I'm just wondering, how is this done? Mainly, how has the detail view section of the split view been given a drop shadow and rounded corners, and for lack of better phrasing, how has it been "separated" from the master view (the default split view template has the master and detail view joined together with nothing but a vertical line separating the two)?

• jquery ui draggable elements not 'draggable' outside of scrolling div

  hello all, i am super stumped. i have many elements (floating href tags) in a div with a set height/width, with scroll set to "overflow: auto" in the css. this is the structure of the divs: <div id="tagFun_div_main"> <div id="tf_div_tagsReturn"> <!-- all the draggable elements go in here, the parent div scolls --> </div> <div id=" tf_div_tagsDrop"> <div id="tf_dropBox"></div> </div></div> the parent div's, 'tf_div_tagsReturn' and 'tf_div_tagsDrop' will ultimately float next to each other. here is the jquery which is run after all of the 'draggable' elements have been created with class name 'tag_cell', : $(function() { $(".tag_cell").draggable({ revert: 'invalid', scroll: false, containment: '#tagFun_div_main' }); $("#tf_dropBox").droppable({ accept: '.tag_cell', hoverClass: 'tf_dropBox_hover', activeClass: 'tf_dropBox_active', drop: function(event, ui) { GLOBAL_ary_tf_tags.push(ui.draggable.html()); tagFun_reload(); } }); }); as i stated above, the draggable elements are draggable within div 'tf_div_tagsReturn', but they do not visually drag outside of that parent div. worthy to note, if i am dragging one of the draggable elements, and move the mouse over the droppable div, with id 'tf_dropBox', then the hoverclass is fired, i just can't see the draggable element any more. thank you very much for any advice on helping me find a solution. this is my first run at using jquery, so hopefully i am just missing something super obvious. i've been reading the documentation and searching forums thus far to no prevail :( thank you for your time. And yet there are apps that manage to do this (like MobileRSS), and presumably, since they haven't gotten rejected, they're not using private APIs.

Should display error as it has it's own htaccess with 'Options All -Indexes' Facts: 'css' subdir doesn't have an index file.(no htaccess on this folder) 'store' subdir does have index file and doesn't get rewritten. • Memory leak involving jQuery Ajax requests

  I have a webpage that's leaking memory in both IE8 and Firefox; the memory usage displayed in the Windows Process Explorer just keeps growing over time. The following page requests the "unplanned.json" url, which is a static file that never changes (though I do set my Cache-control HTTP header to no-cache to make sure that the Ajax request always goes through). When it gets the results, it clears out an HTML table, loops over the json array it got back from the server, and dynamically adds a row to an HTML table for each entry in the array. Then it waits 2 seconds and repeats this process. So you can't give it a query like `$("#content tbody tr")` and expect it to remove all of the elements you've specified. Any element that you remove with it must have an `id` attribute. So if I want to remove my `tbody`, then I must assign an `id` to my `tbody` tag or else it will give an error. It removes the element itself and all of its descendants, so if you simply want to empty that element then you'll have to re-create it afterwards (or modify the plugin to empty instead of remove). So here's my page above modified to use Toran's plugin. For the sake of simplicity I didn't apply any of the general performance advice offered by Peter. • WPF: Menu Items only bind command parameters once.

  Ive noticed this a couple of times when using menus with commands, they are not very dynamic, check this out. I am creating a menu from a collection of colours, I use it to colour a column in a datagrid. Anyway when i first bring up the menu (its a context menu) the command parameter binding happens and it binds to the column that the context menu was opened on. However the next time i bring it up it seems wpf caches the menu and it doesnt rebind the command parameter. so i can set the colour only on the initial column that the context menu appeared on.   Hello, all day long I am sitting and trying to find out why binding to AvalonEdits Document property isn't working. AvalonEdit is an advanced WPF text editor - part of the SharpDevelop project.(it's going to be used in SharpDevelop v4 Mirador). So when I set up a simple project - one TextEditor (that's the AvalonEdits real name in the library) and made a simple class that has one property - Document and it returns a dummy object with some static text the binding is working perfectly. However in real life solution I'm binding a collection of SomeEditor objects to TabControl.   I'm looking at the Android Camera code and when I try importing android.os.SystemProperties It cannot be found. here is the file I'm looking at. http://android.git.kernel.org/?p=platform/packages/apps/Camera.git;a=blob;f=src/com/android/camera/VideoCamera.java;h=8effd3c7e2841eb1ccf0cfce52ca71085642d113;hb=refs/heads/eclair I created a new 2.1 project and tried importing this namespace again, but It still cannot be found. I checked developer.android.com and SystemProperties was not listed Did i miss something?

• C# ASP.NET AJAX CascadingDropDown Selected value propriety problem

  Greetings, I have a problem to use selected value propriety of CascadingDropDown. I have 3 asp dropdown controls with ajax CascadingDropDown for each one of them. I have no problem to bind data to the 3 CascadingDropDown but my problem is to rebind CascadingDropDown. simply what I want to do is to select a record from Gridview which has the selected values for the CascadingDropDown that I want to pass then rebind the CascadingDropDown with selected value. I'm posting my code down which include: 1-ASP.NET code. 2-Code behind to handle selected record from grid view. 3- web servisice that handle binding data to the 3 CascadingDropDown. please advice how to rebind data to CascadingDropDown with selected value. by the way I used selected value proprety as showning in my code but it is not working and there is no error.
