    I am new comer to Android development. Installed fresh Eclipse (Ganymede), Android android-sdk-linux_86. Tried HelloWorld program. Compiles OK. An AVD "my1" created for API level 7. The Emulator does not start, giving an error: [2010-03-11 16:49:49 - Emulator] NAND: could not write file /hd2/android-sdk-linux_86/add-ons/google_apis-7_r01/images//system.img, File exists Perplexed.     Crystal Report is working fine on local database,but its not working on windows server 2008 when i deployed it on IIS 7. I have run Crystal report run time also.I copied CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.dll, CrystalDecisions.ReportSource.dll and CrystalDecisions.Shared.dll from C:\Program Files (x86)\Business Objects\Common\3.5\managed\dotnet2 into bin folder of my application.Still its not showing anything and not throwing any error also.   • Drawing continuously in drawing application

    I was wondering how drawing applications draw the entire time the mouse is down without having empty gaps. What I mean is, for example if the program only drew circles at the mouse's X, y coordinate, then if the mouse went too quicly it would seem like a bunch of little circles rather than a nice continuous line. How can this be done without constantly drawing a short straight line between where the mouse was 0.001 seconds ago and where the mouse now is. Thanks

    I've been researching nosql options available for .NET lately and MongoDB is emerging as a clear winner in terms of availability and support, so tonight I decided to give it a go. For starters, I can get better non-batch insert performance from SQL Server Express. What really struck me, however, was the slow performance of the find_nnnn queries. Why is retrieving data from MongoDB so slow? What am I missing? Edit: This was all on the local machine, no network latency or anything. MongoDB's CPU usage ran at about 75% the entire time the test was running. Edit 2: Also, I ran a trace on the benchmark program and confirmed that 50% of the CPU time spent was waiting for MongoDB to return data, so it's not a performance issue with the C# driver.

  • mysql UDF : fopen = permission denied

    Hi All, I'm trying to create a mysql UDF function , this function calls "fopen/fclose" to read a flat file stored in /data. But using errno (yes, I know it is bad in a MT program...) I can see that the function cannot open my file: "Permission denied" I tried to do a chmod -R 755 /data but it didn't change anything. Any idea ?

  • Where is cmcfg32.lib?

    Hello! I found a source code on MSDN about how to enable/disable privileges in C++ According to the source code, the linker must include cmcfg32.lib, but it can't be found... I tried to compile without including that lib, it compiles without any error, but when I launch my program, it crashes with a fatal error. So please, if you know which SDK contains cmcfg32.lib, let me know ;) Thanks!

Do you know some source which I could use? Or some other HTML (WYSIWYG) editor that could be used inside JavaFX and it has this functionality ?     Hello there, I'm using: - Flex SDK 3.5.0 - Parsley 2.2.2. - Flash Builder 4 Down in my src folder (which is configured as part of the source path in the Flash Builder), I have a logging.xml which I configure via Parsley: FlexLoggingXmlSupport.initialize(); XmlContextBuilder.build("com/company/product/util/log/logging.xml"); When I run my application through Flash Builder, the XmlContentBuilder seems to locate the logging.xml (the implementation is a regular URLLoader one). I tried providing the XmlContentBuilder with an absolute path. That worked fine when I compiled with MXMLC via Ant, but still didn't work when I used MXMLC in the command-line... It's great so far, but since I bought it for software development purposes (initially just learning how to program for Android), should I stay with it, or install the official Android OS?     Hello, We want to set up a directory of all the organizations working with us. They are incredibly diverse (government, embassy, private companies, and organizations depending on them ). So, I've resolved to create 2 tables. Table 1 will treat all the organizations equally, i.e. it'll collect all the basic information (name, address, phone number, etc.). Table 2 will establish the hierarchy among all the organizations. For instance, Program for illiterate adults depends on the National Institute for Social Security which depends on the Labor Ministry. In the Hierarchy table, each column represents a level. So, for the example above, (i)Labor Ministry - Level1(column1), (ii)National Institute for Social Security - Level2(column2), (iii)Program for illiterate adults - Level3(column3). To attach an organization to an hierarchy, the user needs to go level by level(i.e. column by column). So, there will be at least 3 situations: If an adequate hierarchy exists for an organization(for instance, level1: US Embassy), that organization can be added (For instance, level2: USAID).-- US Embassy/USAID, and so on. How about if one or more levels are missing? - then they need to be added How about if the hierarchy need to be modified? -- not every thing need to be modified. I do not have any choice but working by level (i.e. column by column). I does not make sense to have all the levels in one form as the user need to navigate hierarchies to find the right one to attach an organization. Let's say, I have those queries in my repository (just that you get the idea). Query1 var orgHierarchy = (from orgH in db.Hierarchy select orgH.Level1).FirstOrDefault; Query2 var orgHierarchy = (from orgH in db.Hierarchy select orgH.Level2).FirstOrDefault; Query3, Query4, etc. The above queries are the same except for the property queried (level1, level2, level3, etc.) Question: Is there a general way of writing the above queries in one? So that the user can track an hierarchy level by level to attach an organization. In other words, not knowing in advance which column to query, I still need to be able to do so depending on some conditions. For instance, an organization X depends on Y. Knowing that Y is somewhere on the 3rd level, I'll go to the 4th level, linking X to Y. I need to select (not manually) a column with only one query that takes parameters. Thanks for helping

    I have a problem that I have not faced before: It seems that the order of interpretation in my program is somehow different from what I expect. I have written a small Twitter client. It takes a few seconds for my program to actually post a tweet after I click the "GO" button (which can also be activated by hitting ENTER on the keyboard). I don't want to click multiple times within this time period thinking that I hadn't clicked it the first time. Therefore, when the button is clicked, I would like the label text to display something that tells me that the button has been clicked. I have implemented this message by altering the label text before I send the tweet across. However, for some reason, the message does not display until the tweet has been attempted. But since I have a confirmation message after the tweet, I never get to see this message and my original problem goes unsolved. I would really appreciate any help.     How do you programatically do the following from the iPhone SDK 1) Programatically Dial a Phone Number through the iPhone SDK 2) Bypass the dial / cancel prompt that the iPhone brings up 3) Send additional DTMF after the number is dialed just like how you would program pauses into a regular phone. I know you can make a tel:// call but the issue is that it brings up the dial / cancel prompt and after that it prevents any future DTMF from being sent.
