jquery ajax problem in chrome

Icons in menu are smaller than they should be

Hello I have a little problem. All the icons in my apk are smaller than the same icons in other apps (Gmail etc.) This is how it looks like in my apk and this is the same icon in Gmail.apk. I have copied these icons directly from SDK to the specific folders for hdpi, mdpi and ldpi. Here is an example of a hdpi icon I use and my menu.xml <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <menu xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"> <item android:id="@+id/refresh" android:title="@string/refresh" android:icon="@drawable/ic_menu_refresh" /> <item android:id="@+id/add" android:title="@string/add" android:icon="@drawable/ic_menu_add" /> <item android:id="@+id/login" android:title="@string/account" android:icon="@drawable/ic_menu_login" /> </menu> Does anybody know how to make these icon have the same size as in other apk's? I have tried the asset studio with no effect. UPDATE: If I reference an icon directly from android (android:drawable) then it has normal size. However not all icons can be referenced.

Everything I try fails. Does anyone have a good example of how to do this?

SVG 100% document height don't work

I'm trying to fill a document with a SVG image using the width="100%" and height="100%" properties, I have height="100%" in html and body tags too, and different colours for body(red) and svg(blue). Result is a full height svg but with a scrollbar in the right, and a thin line of red(body) at the bottom. ¿How can I fill the document with the svg without the scrollbar? Thanks. jquery dialog calls a server side method with button parameters

Hello all, I have a gridview control with delete asp:ImageButton for each row of the grid. What I would like is for a jquery dialog to pop up when a user clicks the delete button to ask if they are sure they want to delete it. So far I have the dialog coming up just fine, Ive got buttons on that dialog and I can make the buttons call server side methods but its getting the dialog to know the ID of the row that the user has selected and then passing that to the server side code. The button in the page row is currently just an 'a' tag with the id 'dialog_link'. The default behavior is that the value is displayed in the INPUT after selection. jQuery .ajax method executing but not firing error (or success)

I'm having a very strange situation. I have a .NET Web Service (.asmx) that I'm trying to call via jQuery ajax to populate some <select></select>'s. The service is running System.Web.Services like it's supposed to and should be returning a JSON list. At least that's the way I understand that it will in .NET 3.5/4.0. The main problem is that the .ajax() function (below) seems to execute but the internal callbacks aren't executing. I know it's executing because I can do something before and after the function and both execute, so JavaScript isn't blowing up. $.ajax({ type: "POST", contentType: "application/json; charset=utf-8", url: 'http://localhost:59191/AFEDropDownService/Service.asmx/GetAVP', data: "{}", dataType: "jsonp", crossDomain: true, success: function(list) { console.log(list); console.log("success!!"); }, error: function(msg) { console.log("error: " + msg.text); } }); If you need more of the code let me know. Adobe popping out of the browser

Hi, Im building a web application that displays a xfdf document. When we are testing in adobe 5 and we can't stop adobe opening outside the webpage. The user clicks the report and it should open in the browser but instead it opens in adobe it appears to work in everything but adobe 5. We have previously done this with out any problems. Any ideas? Jquery - Dialogue not displaying correctly on IE6

I am trying to use bgiform but it seems to have no effect. The text in IE is pushed off of the screen of the dialogue box when its displayed. It works fine in FF. jQuery load default content into div

Hi, ive searched around but couldnt really find anything to help. Any ideas on how i could do this? At the minute all i see is my loading animation.. I use jQuery with the History plugin.

Socket stops communicating

I'm running python 2.7 code on a Raspberry Pi that receives serial data from an Arduino, processes it, and sends it to a Windows box over a wifi link. The Pi is wired to a Linksys router running in client bridge mode and that router connects over wifi to another Linksys router to which the Windows box is wired. The code in the Pi runs fine for some (apparently) random interval, and then the Pi becomes unreachable from the Windows box. I'm running PUTTY on the the Windows machine to connect to the Pi and when the fail occurs I get a message saying there's been a network error and the Pi is not reachable. Pinging the Pi from the Windows machine works fine until the error, at which time it produces "Reply from 192.168.0.129: Destination host unreachable." The client bridge router to which the Pi is connected remains reachable. I've got the networking code on the Pi wrapped in an exception handler, and when it fails it shows the following: Ethernet problem: Traceback (most recent call last): File "garage.py", line 108, in module s.connect((host, port)) File "/usr/lib/python2.7/socket.py", line 224, in meth return getattr(self._sock,name)(*args) error: [Errno 113] No route to host None The relevant python code looks like: import socket import traceback host = '192.168.0.129' port = 31415 in the setup, and after serial data has been processed: try: bline = strline.encode('utf-8') s = socket.socket(socket.AF_INET, socket.SOCK_STREAM) s.connect((host, port)) s.send(bline) s.close() except: print "Ethernet problem: " print traceback.print_exc() Where strline contains the processed data. As I said, this runs fine for a few hours more or less before failing. Any ideas? EDIT: When PUTTY fails its error message is :Network Error: Software caused connection abort."

Error emailing outgoing sms

Is there anyway to listen for an outbound sms without having to import javax.wireless.messaging? I'm trying to write an app that listens for an sms sent from the device then emails the message of the sms, but I get the error: reference to Message is ambiguous, both class javax.wireless.messaging.Message in javax.wireless.messaging and class net.rim.blackberry.api.mail.Message in net.rim.blackberry.api.mail match I need to import net.rim.blackberry.api.mail.Message in order to sent an email. Is there a way to get around this as it seems that the two packages are clashing. But which one is better in this case?

I edited the main.xml file to display a textfield and button as follows: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <LinearLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" android:orientation="vertical" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="fill_parent" > <Button android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:text="@string/button_send"/> <EditText android:id="@+id/edit_message" android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:hint="@string/edit_message"/> </LinearLayout> Of course I have added all the corresponding strings in strings.xml. But when I try to run my app these weren't displaying... :( . I mean the same string that was displayed previously was being displayed. Can anybody figure out what is the mistake? thanx...

Server side method not getting called

From the below javascript code i am trying to call a serverside method, but serververside method is not getting called. Exporting to CSV/Excel in Java

I'm trying to export data into a CSV file through Java and I've got some code to do it but it doesn't seem to be outputting the CSV file. Could someone tell me what's wrong? What I would like to do is rather than saving the file somewhere, I would like it to be directly exported to the user. EDIT: Just in case it's not clear, I don't want the file to be saved anywhere but would like it to be outputted automatically to the user i.e. they click export and get the "Run/Save results.csv" window and they open the file. Admob in xml not showing in Linear
