    I have a procmail setup and want to have a Spam folder that works with MUA's. I found this tutorial http://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/how-do-i-move-spam-mail-to-spam-folder/ but it doesn't work as expected. I want to be able to open a mail client and see the Spam folder to deduce whether or not the messages are actually spam. How do I do this having a "default" Spam folder setup that can be read/accessed from mail clients like Thunderbird and Roundcube?

    I am using Fantacy Remote to remote view other machines. I have attached the default .INI file that Fantacy Remote uses. When i connect to a machine, the client user should not have mouse and keyboard access of the Remote machine. It should be a View only remote connection. And i want to make the Remote viewer screen to be in full screen mode, because i dont want the user to do anything with menubars of Fatancy remote. Because this is kiosk application.     My client had me deploy some folders out to a bunch of home directories for his customer websites. I did this with a Bash script, but it ended up using the root account permissions. How do I make a Bash script that takes each folder under /home/user (not hidden files or folders), gets the user and group ownership of that folder, and then does a chown -R {user}.{group} /home/user? The servers are running CentOS Linux.

    I've been trying to solve this for a while, but I'm admittedly quite stumped. I just started up a new server and was setting up OpenSSH to use key-based SSH logins, but I've run into quite a dilemma. All the guides are relatively similar, and I was following them closely (despite having done this once before). I triple checked my work to see if I would notice some obvious screw up - but nothing is apparent. As far as I can tell, I haven't done anything wrong (and I've checked very closely).     Is it possible to configure vsFTPD to use Explicit FTP over TLS for all connections except those coming from 127.0.0.1? Joomla website is being hosted on a server, and it's unable to use FTPES, so I had to set: force_local_data_ssl=NO force_local_logins_ssl=NO But I want to force content managers to use FTPES, and I am unable to control whether they have chosen FTP or FTPES in their client's connection properties.   • Synergy reports connected but mouse doesn't hop between screens

    I'm using synergy between two windows computers (Windows 7 32-bit, acting as the server part, and Windows XP 32-bit, as a client). I'm running the server part as admin, as suggested in some posts when running synergy in Vista/7, and I think it's properly configured in the server part: It reports on both sides that the connection has succesfully been established, but there's no way to move the mouse from one screen to the other (neither from server2client, nor client2server). Any ideas?

    I like to use the following commands to manage 'TIME_WAIT', in the hope to free up resources. echo 20 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_fin_timeout sysctl -w net.ipv4.tcp_tw_reuse=1 sysctl -w net.ipv4.tcp_tw_recycle=1 I found something interesting while doing a tcpdump. Sometimes if a client makes a connection (syn), the server will not reply (syn -ack). My question is, could it be because of the top three commands.

  • 403 Forbidden Error when trying to view localhost on Apache

    I think my Apache must be all screwed up. I don't know if it ever worked. I just upgraded to Snow Leopard, and the first step on this tutorial is to start apache and check that it's working by opening http://localhost. It starts fine but when I go to localhost I get a 403 forbidden error. I don't know where to start figuring out how to fix it, so I wonder if a fresh install of Apache would do the trick. What do you think? Update: I found some error logs in /private/var/log/apache2/. Found this in one of the logs. Update: Yes, there is an /etc/hosts file that need to be changed to. Add the virtual host name to that file.

    My first question so please be gentle :) I have a client who is insisting that they have to let their third party vendor support access to there server directly from the internet via RDP. Our policy does not allow direct access to the infrastructure from outside of the data centre for administration except from an approved VPN connection and then virtual desktop there on to the servers. I am now in the situation where I must give good reasons why it is dangerous to use RDP over the public internet. any help would be appreciated Thanks in advance Stuart
