    my company's internet works on proxy server with Authentication(i.e. Browser prompts with window for username/password everytime i tried to access any web page). Now i have some windows application which tries to access internet(like WebPI/Visual Studio 2008 for rss feeds), but as they are unable to popup the the authentication window, they are unable to connect with internet with error: (407) Proxy Authentication Required . Here the exception is VS2008, first time it always fails to load rss feeds on startup page, but when i click on the link, it shows authentication window and everything works fine after that. my question is: How can i configure normal windows application(through app.config/app.manifest file) accessing web to able to show the authentication window or provide default credentials. For explore this furthor, i have created one console application on VS2008 which tries to serach something on google and display the result on console. I couldn't find a script/tutorial with an example of how to test DnD with Watir. Did anybody try/succeed in testing drag-and-drop with Watir? Btw.: I am using jQuery for the DnD implementation.

    Are there any workarounds to get the Flex compiler to work with a 64bit JRE? If I use an MXMLC task in an Ant buildfile in Eclipse it works fine but if I try to use MXMLC from the command line (or try the Run... command from FDT in Eclipse) it fails, telling me ... "Error loading: C:\Program Files\Java\jrrt-1.6.0\jre\bin\jrockit\jvm.dll" (this is with a 64bit JRockit runtime but that shouldn't matter).

    I've put some text inside a rectangle using inkscape so the tree is like <svg:rect><svg:text><svg:tspan>text.... The problem is, I can't see the text. I've tried fiddling with the opacity of the rect to no avail. There should be a way of doing this from the UI?   • Trouble setting IE8 browser mode to IE7

    Inspite of putting the following meta tag I am not getting the expected result: <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7" > I open the developer tool window. In the same bar where the menu appears there is an item called Browser Mode: it still shows IE 8 by default. Even doing document.documentMode in the console window shows "8". Am I doing anything wrong?

    Hi Guys, I have a clients website - www.stagecraft.co.uk and they want the navigation on the hire pages (longer page) to still be there at when you scroll the page down. I've had a quick go (not live) with position fixed but in doing so it the leftside navigation is about 200px or so from the top of the window. Any when to get it at the top of the window when scrolling? Thanks in advance....

I want that when the 'Refresh' command is executed it should be caught by the page Refresh_Executed event-handler set in the CommandBinding. In other words, Is there a way to set global Commands that are targeted for the entire application scope and execute everywhere they're bound?

    I'm working on a program that accesses StarTeam using the StarTeam SDK for .NET. And I've noticed that it takes about 10 seconds to login to the StarTeam server. I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to speed that up. Edit I used this command to run the StarTeam Cross Platform client with debugging output: stjava.exe StarTeamCP.stjava -- -netmon It appears that the delay happens when it send the command SRVR_CMD_GET_USER_PERSONAL_INFO. So I don't think there's anything I can do to speed it up.

  • jQuery.getScript: data variable in callback undefined

    I'm trying to load an external JavaScript using jQuery's getScript(), like this: $.getScript("http://api.recaptcha.net/js/recaptcha_ajax.js", function(data) { window.alert(data); }); but as the alert window shows, the data variable in the callback function is undefined, unlike promised in http://docs.jquery.com/Ajax/jQuery.getScript#urlcallback.     Hello, Whenever I try to create a custom window using NSBorderlessWindowMask and set an NSView (for example an NSImageView) as its contentView, I get a 1px gray border around the NSView and I don't seem to be able to get rid of it. I have followed several approaches including Apple's RoundTransparentWindow sample code as well as several suggestions on StackOverflow. I suspect the gray border is either coming from the window itself or the NSView. Have any of you experienced this problem or do you have a possible solution? Thanks
