  • Why is my web page left-aligned on iPad?

    I recently built a site and centered it using margin: 0 auto. I also wrapped elements in a .wrapper class with a width set to 960px and then had the parent element extend across the whole browser. When I view the Brands screen on an iPad though, the site is left-aligned and does not extend across the whole window. Any thoughts to why this might be happening, and how to correct it?     Hi, I wrote a code for pinging of given URL.It works fine for me.But whenever i clicked on the start ping button, pinging started but that time focus always is on start button and no widget of the screen working that time. After pressing many times it will gives the force close error.If iam giving URL which is not pinging then that time , all the widgets are working fine.After some time i need to stop the pinging by using my stop button.But it is not working.Please give me advise.Iam using Runtime.exec() for ping command in my android.Plz give me advise.

    I know JavaScript is client side and PHP is server-side. I also know this is an odd question. However, the CMS editor I'm using will not allow php to be stored to the database (it's the same editor used by Dupral). I can store JavaScript though. Can I import a php file with JavaScript. Or rather read the php file, store the content in a variable then out put the content to the screen?

  • Why does Eclipse crash with Xmx, XX:MaxPermSize above certain values?

    Running Eclipse 3.5.1, JDK 1.6.0_17 on WinXP SP3 32Bit with 3.5 gigs of RAM. I'm aware of the known Eclipse best practices, still trying to figure out eclipse.ini. This will launch: -Xmx588m and this won't: -Xmx589m. Same with -XX:MaxPermSize. Anything above -XX:MaxPermSize=140m won't launch. The screen of death is simlar to this (taken from here). Any ideas on why might this be happening?

  • WPF Binding to IDictionary<int,MyType>.Values Doesn't Respond to Property Changes?

    I am binding a ListView a property that essentially wraps the Values collection (ICollection) on a generic dictionary. When the values in the dictionary change, I call OnNotifyPropertyChanged(property). I don't see the updates on the screen, with no binding errors. When I change the property getter to return the Linq extension dictionary.Values.ToList(), without changing the signature of the property (ICollection) it works with no problem. Any reason why the Values collection bind and notify properly without projecting to an IList<?
