  • "Out of Memory" error in Lotus Notes automation from VBA

    This VBA function sporadically fails with a Notes automation error "Run-Time Error '7' Out of Memory". Naturally, when I try to manually reproduce it, everything runs fine. Function ToGMT(ByVal X As Date) As Date Static NtSession As NotesSession If NtSession Is Nothing Then Set NtSession = New NotesSession NtSession.Initialize End If (do stuff) End function To put this in context, this VBA function is being called by an Access query, 3-4 times per record, with 20,000 records. For performance reasons, the NotesSession has been made static. Any ideas why it is sporadically giving an out-of-memory error? (Also, I'm initiating the NotesSession just so I can convert a datetime to GMT using Lotus's rules. If you know a better way, I'm listening).

  • flash actionscript 3 child control parent frame

    I'm completely new to flash... currently attempting to learn actionscript (ugh.) In the project I have right now, on the main timeline there are two layers: "intro" and "menu," and it's set to stop on frame 1. "Intro" is only 1 frame that holds a movie clip, and inside that is a movie clip with 800 frames. At the end of this clip around frame 750, it stops, and requires you to click to continue. Is there a way to have this be clicked, continue to the end of this movie clip, and then go to the 2nd frame in the main timeline to bring up the "menu"? Or do I have to have 800 blank frames before the menu so that the "intro" can play out. Thanks.

    I've got some analysis code (myprog) that sucks in data using the following: if(5 == fscanf(in, "%s%lf%f%f%f", tag, & sec, & tgt, & s1, & s2)) which works just fine. But in the situation where I've got data files that are separated by commas, I'm currently doing something like: sed 's/,/ /g' data | myprog Can I modify the format string in the fscanf() function to accept both delimitation formats?

    I need a generalized method to get list of runtime parameters (values) when I call a procedure. I need something similar to the $$PLSQL_UNIT that returns the name of the running procedure.     I have a situation where in theory I would need to use a belongs_to_many relationship. I have an Example model and a Sentence model. Each example object has one sentence but these sentences are not necessarily unique. So, for example, I could have two example models that each have one sentence that is the same sentence. I'm not sure how to go about doing this in rails. I tried using has_and_belongs_to_many, but ran into problems. It seems that I only need the belongs_to :many part of that relationship. Ideally it would look something like this, but I know there is no belongs_to :many. Example has_one :sentence end Sentence belongs_to_many :examples end

I've declared myIndexRow as an instance variable and have: NSInteger myIndexRow = indexPath.row; [deleteButton addTarget:self action:@selector(showDeleteSheet:) forControlEvents:UIControlEventTouchUpInside]; deleteButton.myIndexRow = myIndexRow; but I'm getting the 'Request for member 'myRow' is something not a structure or union' There is something obvious I am missing here.
