  • IIS7: URL Rewrite - can it be used to hide a CDN path?

    Hi, I am using Rackspace Cloud CDN (Limelight CDN) for my website. The URLs of the CDN are in the format http://cxxxxxx.cdn.cloudfiles.rackspacecloud.com/something.jpg My domain is mydomain.com. Can I use IIS URL rewriting to show http://cxxxxxx.cdn.cloudfiles.rackspacecloud.com/something.jpg as http://images.mydomain.com/something.jpg? Or is this impossible without the CDN setup accepting my CNAME? If so, can you please help create the URL rewrite rule? (Sorry, don't know how to use regular expressions) Thanks, WT

    I need to learn about the Diameter Protocol and its use in different devices. I want to install a Diameter Server, some kind of client that uses Diameter Protocol to authenticate, and then start tweaking things. http://www.opendiameter.org has gone dark (although the sourceforge page still exists). I can't figure out how to install OpenBlox (http://www.traffixsystems.com/OpenBloXDiameterStack.html). Where can I find a Diameter server and some kind of client application to test it with?

  • Why can't I access Jetty running on my Mac via my iPhone?

    I'm developing an iPhone app that has a network component. I'm developing the app in Java (Google App Engine actually), running on port 8080. And it works, when I test my app in the iPhone simulator. But now I am trying to test on the device, and I can't hit my Jetty instance. I can certainly access my Mac via the iPhone because I'm able to hit http://10.0.1.7/~brianpapa/ and view my Home Folder when Web Sharing is turned on. But when I try to hit http://10.0.1.7:8080/, it says it can't connect to the server. Interestingly, if I try to hit http://10.0.1.7:8080/ from my mac, it doesn't work either - I have to use localhost as the hostname instead, then it's fine. Has anybody ever encountered this before, and know how to fix it?

And I would like to know if it possible to manipulate Part (org.apache.commons.httpclient.methods.multipart.Part) dynamically? Essentially adding new FilePart and new StringPart at runtime before sending the request. Every example I've found until now suppose that you know how many fields you are dealing with.   • nginx + ssi + remote uri access does not work

    I have a setup where my nginx is in front with apache+PHP behind. My PHP application cache some page in memcache which are accessed by nginx directly except some dynamic part which are build using SSI in Nginx. The first problem I had was nginx didnt try to use memcache for ssi URI. <!--# include virtual="/myuser" --> So I figured that if I force it to use a full URL, it would do it. <!--# include virtual="http://www.example.com/myuser" --> But in logs file (both nginx and apache) I can see that a slash has been added at the beginning of the url http ssi filter "/http://www.example.com/myuser" In the source code of the SSI module I see a PREFIX that seems to be added, but I can really tell if I can disable it. Anybody got this issue? Nginx version : 0.7.62 on Ubuntu Karmic 64bits Thanks a lot

    I have some prototype functions added to Object which in my opinion were practical in certain scenarios. However, I noticed that when I executed a $.get, the prototype functions are handled as data members and are sent like http://...?prototypefunc=false. This is rather useless as I don't supply these as data members, but they are added to the query string. To be exact, I have this code: Object.prototype.in = function() { for(var i=0; i<arguments.length; i++) if(arguments[i] == this) return true; return false; } $.get('http://localhost/test.php', {'test': 'foo'}, function(text) { }); The corresponding URL constructed is: http://localhost/test.php?test=foo&in=false How can I avoid this?

  • Help with regex pulling XML data from response body in PHP

    I am working on a project that pulls data from JMS queue using PHP and Zend Framework. The HTTP client response is below. All I need is the XML string. I came up with /(.*)<\/RequestDetails/gs which tests ok on http://gskinner.com/RegExr/ but the preg_match call is returning an empty matches array.     Based on my limited understanding of this parameter [1] it seems to be used in representing cookieless session IDs in java applications... but strangely, we're now noticing that a 3-year-old .NET stack is now appearing in Bing SERPs with GXHC_gx_session_id appended to the domain - and we're not alone: http://www.bing.com/search?q=GXHC_gx_session_id http://www.google.ca/#hl=en&q=GXHC_gx_session_id When comparing Google SERPs to Bing SERPs there are some inconsistencies in whether a particular site carries this parameter - is it then a bing-specific issue only? What else could cause this parameter to be appended to indexed URLs if the target environment (anything behind the load balancers) isn't running java?     I want to match both the src and title attributes of an image tag: pattern: <img [^>]*src=["|\']([^"|\']+["|\'])|title=["|\']([^"|\']+) target: <img src="http://someurl.jpg" class="quiz_caption" title="Caption goes here!"> This pattern gives me one unwanted match, title="content", and the match I actually want which is the value between the quotes after the word 'title', i.e 'content'. So, my matches are: <img src="http://someurl.jpg http://someurl.jpg title="Caption goes here!" Caption goes here! Is there a way to avoid the third of these matches? I'm using PCRE in PHP 5.2.x

    This question is for learning purposes. Suppose I am writing a simple SQL admin console using CGI and Python. At http://something.com/admin, this admin console should allow me to modify a SQL database (i.e., create and modify tables, and create and modify records) using an ordinary form. In the least secure case, anybody can access http://something.com/admin and modify the database. You can password protect http://something.com/admin. But once you start using the admin console, information is still transmitted in plain text. So then you use HTTPS to secure the transmitted data. Questions: To describe to a learner, how would you incrementally add security to the least secure environment in order to make it most secure? How would you modify/augment my three (possibly erroneous) steps above? What basic tools in Python make your steps possible? Optional: Now that I understand the process, how do sophisticated libraries and frameworks inherently achieve this level of security?

So if I added Protocol.Http.ToString() there is another error because it allows only CONSTANT evaluation. If I change it to this switch (Enum.Parse(typeof(Protocol), strProtocolType)) It's not possible also. So, it's possible to use in my case a switch statement or not?

    I was inspecting my apache access logs(I use default combined log format) and I came a cross a wired entry 69.171.247.0 - - [22/Oct/2012:18:15:20 +0200] "GET /some site resources HTTP/1.1" 404 514 "-" "facebookexternalhit/1.0 (+http://www.facebook.com/externalhit_uatext.php)" As u see, this query come from a facebook robot that extract objects from site when somebody post a link. What I find weird is the logged ip address : 69.171.247.0 Does anybody know how is that possible ?
