So I am binding the datacontext of a listbox to an array of LedgerObject, and I want to bind the textblock control defined inside a listboxitem template to the property of a ChargeLine. Any idea or suggestion will help. • Why does sorl.thumbnail ImageField fail in the admin?

  I have code that looks like this: from sorl.thumbnail import ImageField class Gallery(models.Model): pass class GalleryImage(models.Model): image = ImageField(upload_to='galleries') In the admin: class GalleryImageInline(admin.TabularInline): model = GalleryImage class GalleryAdmin(admin.ModelAdmin): inlines = (GalleryImageInline,) If I use the sorl.thumbnail as above, it is impossible to add images in the admin. I get the validation error Enter a list of values. If I replace the sorl.thumbnail.ImageField with a plain django ImageField, everything works. If I want sorl.thumbnail to clean up the cache thumbnails, I need to use it in the model, but if I use it in the model, I can't seem to add any images to need thumbnails. Anyone else found and fixed this problem yet?

When I save a Note object like this: note = Note(author=request.use, content=form.cleaned_data['content']) The conversed value is saved into the database, which is not what I wanna see.   I have looked at many questions here (and many more websites) and some provided hints but none gave me a definitive answer. I know regular expressions but I am far from being a guru. This particular question deals with regex in PHP. I need to locate words in a text that are not surrounded by a hyperlink of a given class. For example, I might have This <a href="blabblah" class="no_check">elephant</a> is green and this elephant is blue while this <a href="blahblah">elephant</a> is red. I would need to match against the second and third elephants but not the first (identified by test class "no_check"). Note that there could more attributes than just href and class within hyperlinks. I came up with ((?<!<a .*class="no_check".*>)\belephant\b) which works beautifully in regex test software but not in PHP. Any help is greatly appreciated. If you cannot provide a regular expression but can find some sort of PHP code logic that would circumvent the need for it, I would be equally grateful.

Is it possible to truly replace the method so the second line of output prints "new"? When trying to figure it out, I found that DelegatingMetaClass might help - is that the most Groovy way to do this?

  I need to write a tool that lists the classes that call methods of specified interfaces. It will be used as part of the build process of a large java application consisting of many modules. The goal is to automatically document the dependencies between certain java modules. I found several tools for dependency analysis, but they don't work on the method level, just for packages or jars. Finally I found ASM, that seems to do what I need.   Hi, How to create & access static string in iPhone (objective c)? I declare static NSString *str = @"OldValue" in class A. If i assign some value to this in class B as str = @"NewValue". This value persists for all methods in class B. But if I access it in class C (after assignment in B) I am getting it as OldValue. Am I missing something? Should i use extern in other classes? I know the fields are available in the object in my view as I can print them but they are not built into the json structure. Does anyone know how to overcome this? Thanks Andrew

So is there a decoration or other trick I can use that would cause the "get" path of the Log property to be lazy while the set path is being invoked?

  This is the exact same question as this one: “Could not find type” error loading a form in the Designer Before anyone goes closing my question please read that one. You will realize that it did not get a real answer. I hope to get a full answer (rather than a workaround) from this question. When I create a class that descends from Control and uses generics, that class fails to load in the designer. Here is and example: class OwnerDrawnListBox<T> : System.Windows.Forms.Control { private readonly List<T> _items; // Other list box private stuff here public OwnerDrawnListBox() { _items = new List<T>(); } // More List box code } I then use this in my designer: private OwnerDrawnListBox<Bag> lstAvailable; private void InitializeComponent() { // Used to be System.Windows.Forms.ListBox(); this.lstAvailable = new ARUP.ScanTrack.Mobile.OwnerDrawnListBox<Bag>(); // Other items } If the generic class is subclassed (to a non-generic) then the referenced question says that it works fine (ie if I made Class BagOwnerDrawListBox: OwnerDrawnListBox<Bag>). What I want to know is there a way to "fix" this so that the generic item is accepted by the designer? Side Note: I am using the Compact Framework.

• Can obfuscation (proguard) lead to MIDlet malfunction?

  Hi, Im trying to obfuscate a Java MIDlet with proguard. It runs ok on the PC, however, when I run it on the phone, the program opens, connects to the server, and then freezes. If I disable obfuscation, it runs ok again on the phone. Ive tryed all the obfuscation levels for apps (7, 8 and 9 at NetBeans), and none of them seems to work properly, and I cant release this app for comercial use without obfuscation. Also, the compiler throws some warnings: Note: duplicate definition of library class [java.io.ByteArrayOutputStream] Note: there were 14 duplicate class definitions. But I dont know if this is realy the problem. Does anyone knows what is wrong? The obfuscator arguments are listed below: Obfuscator Arguments (7): -dontusemixedcaseclassnames -default package '' -keep public class ** { public *; } Obfuscator Arguments (8): same as (7) plus -overloadaggressively. Obfuscator Arguments (9): same as (8) but -keep public class ** extends javax.microedition.midlet.MIDlet { public *; } instead. Thanks.

• BoundsChecker shows incorrect memory leak message

  Hello All, I'm using BoundsChecker9.1 with visual c++. I have a class class Sample{ public: vector(AnotherClass) x; }. When I run my program the BoundsChecker tool reports all push_back() calls such as S.x.push_back(AnotherClass()) as memory leak.. Wouldn't all the elements in vector x will always be deallocated when the Sample class goes out of scope? If so, any idea about why BoundsChecker is showing them as memory leak?

  Hi, all. I'm pretty new to C++, and I'm writing a small library (mostly for my own projects) in C++. In the process of designing a type hierarchy, I've run into the problem of defining the assignment operator. I've taken the basic approach that was eventually reached in this article, which is that for every class MyClass in a hierarchy derived from a class Base you define two assignment operators like so: class MyClass: public Base { public: MyClass& operator =(MyClass const& rhs); virtual MyClass& operator =(Base const& rhs); }; // automatically gets defined, so we make it call the virtual function below MyClass& MyClass::operator =(MyClass const& rhs); { return (*this = static_cast<Base const&>(rhs)); } MyClass& MyClass::operator =(Base const& rhs); { assert(typeid(rhs) == typeid(*this)); // assigning to different types is a logical error MyClass const& casted_rhs = dynamic_cast<MyClass const&>(rhs); try { // allocate new variables Base::operator =(rhs); } catch(...) { // delete the allocated variables throw; } // assign to member variables } The part I'm concerned with is the assertion for type equality. Since I'm writing a library, where assertions will presumably be compiled out of the final result, this has led me to go with a scheme that looks more like this: class MyClass: public Base { public: operator =(MyClass const& rhs); // etc virtual inline MyClass& operator =(Base const& rhs) { assert(typeid(rhs) == typeid(*this)); return this->set(static_cast<Base const&>(rhs)); } private: MyClass& set(Base const& rhs); // same basic thing }; But I've been wondering if I could check the types at compile-time. I looked into Boost.TypeTraits, and I came close by doing BOOST_MPL_ASSERT((boost::is_same<BOOST_TYPEOF(*this), BOOST_TYPEOF(rhs)>));, but since rhs is declared as a reference to the parent class and not the derived class, it choked. Now that I think about it, my reasoning seems silly -- I was hoping that since the function was inline, it would be able to check the actual parameters themselves, but of course the preprocessor always gets run before the compiler. But I was wondering if anyone knew of any other way I could enforce this kind of check at compile-time.

  I am not able to use MediaPlayer/VideoView to make rtsp to work in Android. So I have created a client to interact with RTSP server, I have succeeded in doing this. I am able to get the video/audio frame from RTSP server (MySpace) in Android. Now I want to play the frames. I have searched OpenCore APIs to play the frames, but didn't get any APIs. My investigation: There is a class PlayerDriver.c It creates two sinks one audio and other video. handleSetVideoSurface handleSetAudioSink Two objects of type PVPlayerDataSinkPVMFNode are created. I suspect this class has a way to give the stream as input, but I am not getting the definition of this class. Can you suggest me is there any class I need to look into it?

  I am using a jQuery function to submit a form when a certain button is pressed, however this seems to have no effect on the form. This function may seem meaningless since I can just use a input type="submit" but I originally intended this to have some more functionality, I stripped the function to its bare bones for testing purposes.

• How to make Date locale-independent? (GMT timezone newbie question)

  I have a db, that stores dates in OleDateTime format, in GMT timezone. I've implemented a class, extending Date in java to represent that in classic date format. But my class is locale-dependent (I'm in GMT+2). Therefore, it converts the date in the db as date - 2 hours. How do I make it convert the date correctly? I want my class to be locale-independent, always using GMT timezone.
