  • How can I change exim's DKIM and SPF for emails sent?

    I've now spent 2 hours trying to figure out this issue and I am about to give up and go to bed. I've been having issues with Gmail rejecting emails from my VPS server because of false spam alerts (probably caused by lfd sending too many emails). So I changed my Exim config to send emails from a different IP (my VPS comes with 3) and that fixed the issue. I also enabled DKIM and SPF on my domains for added measure. But now, all my emails appear as ("From: Sender Name via server.domain1.com") where server.domain1.com is my VPS hostname. I previously had the same issue in Outlook and turning off "Set SMTP Sender: headers" solved that problem. But I believe adding the DKIM and SPF now makes Gmail add "via server.domain1.com" to my messages. How do I fix this?   • PHP displays blank white page even with all error reporting enabled

    I am trying to debug a broken page in a Drupal application and am having a hard time getting PHP to spit anything useful out. I have the following set: error_reporting = E_ALL display_errors = On display_startup_errors = On log_errors = On error_log = /var/log/php/php_error.log I have a file showing me phpinfo() which confirms these variables are set correctly for the environment. I have increased memory_limit to 256M (which should be more than enough). Yet, the only indication I get is a status 500 code in the apache access log and a blank white page from PHP.     I'm trying to configure reverse proxy rules in vhost.conf. I have Apache-2.2.8 on Ubuntu-8.04, monitored by Plesk-10.4.4. What I'm trying to achieve is defining a reverse proxy rule that defers all traffic to -say- http://mydomain/tomcat/ to the Tomcat server running on port 8080. I have mod_rewrite and mod_proxy loaded in Apache. As far as I understand mod_proxy docs, entering following rules in /var/www/vhosts/mydomain/conf/vhost.conf should work: <Proxy *> Order deny,allow Allow from all </Proxy> ProxyRequests off RewriteRule ^/tomcat/(.*)$ http://mydomain:8080/$1 [P] Yet, I am getting a HTTP 500: internal server error when requesting above URL.     Hello - I know this can't be too difficult, but I've tried everything I can think of and cannot get it to work. I need to compare the value of a column (LASTNAME) with a system variable (:VARIABLE), but the variable is an email address, so I need to trim off the "@email.com" and "firstname." Some things I've tried: select * from TABLENAME where LASTNAME LIKE :VARIABLE select * from TABLENAME where LASTNAME IN :VARIABLE I've been able to trim off the @email.com, can't figure out how to trim off FIRSTNAME. at the same time.   • fetch only first row from oracle - is it faster?

    My main goal with this question is optimization and faster run time. After doing lot of processing in the Stored Proc I finally return a count like below: OPEN cv_1 FOR SELECT COUNT(*) num_of_members FROM HOUSEHOLD_MEMBER a, HOUSEHOLD b WHERE RTRIM(LTRIM(a.mbr_last_name)) LIKE v_MBR_LAST_NAME || '%' AND a.number = '01' AND a.code = v_CODE AND a.ssn_head = v_SSN_HEAD AND TO_CHAR( a.mbr_dob, 'MM/DD/YYYY') = v_DOB; But in my code that is calling the SP does not need the actual count. It just cares that count is greater than 1. Question: How can I change this to return just 1 or 0. 1 when count is 0 and 0 when count 1. Will it be faster to do this rather than returning the whole count?

  • How do I display a field's hidden characters in the result of a query in Oracle?

    I have two rows that have a varchar column that are different according to a Java .equals(). I can't easily change or debug the Java code that's running against this particular database but I do have access to do queries directly against the database using SQLDeveloper. The fields look the same to me (they are street addresses with two lines separated by some new line or carriage feed/new line combo). Is there a way to see all of the hidden characters as the result of a query?I'd like to avoid having to use the ascii() function with substr() on each of the rows to figure out which hidden character is different. I'd also accept some query that shows me which character is the first difference between the two fields.

  • SSH stops at "using username" with IPTables in effect

    We used UFW but couldn't make the Source Dedicated ports open, which was weird, so we purged UFW and switched to IPTables, using Webmin to configure. If the inbound chain is on DENY and SSH port open [judged from Webmin], PuTTY will say using username "root" and stops at that instead of asking for public key pw. Inbound chain on ACCEPT the pw is asked. This problem didn't happen with UFW.   • VIM "upgraded" to expandtab and tabstop=8 on Python files

    After reinstalling my OS from Kubuntu 12.10 to Kubuntu 14.04, VIM has changed its behaviour when editing Python files. Though before the reinstall all file types had noexpandtab and tabstop=4 set, now in Python those values are expandtab and tabstop=8, checked also via VIM behaviour and also via asking VIM set foo?. Non-Python files retain the noexpandtab and tabstop=4 behaviour that I prefer. The .vim direcotry and .vimrc were not touched during the reinstall.   • Copying 6000 tables and data from sqlserver to oracle ==> fastest method?

    i need to copy the tables and data (about 5 yrs data, 6200 tables) stored in sqlserver, i am using datastage and odbc connection to connect and datstage automatically creates the table with data, but its taking 2-3 hours per table as tables are very large(0.5 gig, 300+columns and about 400k rows). How can i achieve this the fastes as at this rate i am able to only copy 5 tables per day but within 30 days i need move over these 6000 tables.
