    Im touching up an mvc2 application thats nearly complete, I have some ajax requests that end up looking alot like www.host.com/site/controller/action?UserName=asdf&UserPassword=asdfasdf&Email=asd%40df.com&PhoneNumber=541-345-5433&CompanyName="sdf" So my question is how (if possible) can I mask the ajax url on the redirect to simply be.. /controller/action, Im getting the feeling I broke pattern with my ajax and am stuck with nasty URLS. any mvc2 gurus out there willing to clarify?

Is there anyway I can join the orders collection with the products collection and filter by category id?     I configure a default tomcat installation (running on "localhost" at port "8080") as a proxy server in my browser and try to connect to http://www.google.com. I would expect either an error message saying tomcat is not configured as a proxy server or I should get the contents of google website. Instead I get the index.html page of my tomcat installation. What is going wrong?

    Due to a Hard disk problem I am trying to shift a partition from one hard disk to another. I am following http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/library/l-partplan.html article to do that. In the copying part I would like to ignore one particular sub directory. How can I accomplish that keeping in mind when copying I have to preserve my owner group and time stamp. There is around 700 GB of data that needs to be copied if I do not ignore a particular subdirectory.

I know that Mentalis Seclib got this feature however they don't maintain the project as they say .NET Framework 2.0 introduced those features. However I couldn't find a way to do this in .NET Framework 3.5. To be more specific I want to connect an HTTPS service by using NULL cipher, I would do the same thing with OpenSSL by using the following command: openssl s_client -connect www.example.com:443 -cipher NULL How can I do this in .NET?

If the user then unchecks the box and presses the button to invoke a postback, the state of the checkbox remains as checked on the server side. This is obviously undesirable behaviour. The problem is, that I can't use the suggested solution under android, because it throws java.lang.verifyError... After reading a little bit, I found out, that the class that was used to store the data to file, is not usable in android... can you suggest another solution, which is similar easy to use?

  • MultiActionController no longer receiving requests?

    I was attempting to make changes to my controller, and all of a sudden, I no longer seem to receive any requests (404 when attempting to hit the servlet mapped URLs). I'm sure I've broken my web.xml or app-servlet.xml, but I just don't see where. I can access index.jsp from tomcat (http://IP/app/index.jsp), but I can't get my servlet mapping to work correctly.     To test, you'd have to log in to the example page here: http://www.avaline.com /Drinkware/Sport-Water-Bottles/Monterey-DAB20 From there, the Color drop-down swaps out the right color images in IE8, FF3.6(the latest), Chrome4.1(up to date), but not in IE7. I don't get it...but I'm plugging along trying to debug it with visual studio.
