    I'm looking to extract key pieces of information from the following website to simplify the signup process. More or less I want to build a quick import script that will grab the following: 1) Username 2) Type (Model / Photographer) 3) Age 4) Sex 5) City, State, Zip 6) Email 7) Photos I will then take all of this data and add it to join form / push the photos through a manipulation script. Any ideas?

    I have this method in my book model: def get_absolute_url(self): return "/book/%s/%s/%i/%i/" % ( self.book_title, self.book_editor, self.book_pages, self.id) So the urls of each book are like this: example.com/book/the-bible/gesu-crist/938/12/ I want that if there is an error in the url, then I get redirected to the real url by using book.id in the end of the url. For example if I go to: example.com/book/A-bible/gesu-crist/938/12/ the I will get redirected to: example.com/book/the-bible/gesu-crist/938/12/ How can I do that ?

  • Function from other module not detecting

    I two modules in same src folder. mod1 declares function I wish to use in module mod2: -module(mod1). -export([myfunc/1]). myfunc(A) -> {ok}. In other module I not import mod1: -module(mod2). If I do "mod1:" in mod2 it recognizes "myfunc", problem is at run-time when I call mod1:myfunc(A) I get "undefined function mod1:myfunc/1" I not understand why I get error if intellisense detect my mod1 function in mod2?

  • exporting html table multi line columns to excel multi line cells

    I have a html table in a view MVC4 that I am sending to excel as output. Inside the view page I have some columns that have multiple lines that are built with forloops within the HTML. What's the best way to add the or \r\n so that excel renders it correctly? I have a table and inside I build each row looping thru a recordset. In each row I also loop thru different recordsets to populate columns within each row so that some of the columns may contain more than one value and they should show in different lines in the table that will export to excel.

  • SVN: How can I update an existing repository from an exported copy ?

    Late one afternoon, I did an export of my project repository, and took home my work on my USB key. I've added many changes to the exported project, and now, having returned to the workplace, I want to update the repository with the project that I've now got. To complicate matters, I've made updates to the project in both the main trunk and a branch - and I'd like to update the repository to reflect all those changes. I'm new to SVN and have been relying on tortoise SVN, but I'm a bit lost now. Would I be best to delete the repository and recreate it from the copies/branches I now have? thanks

    I have a form for creating a new account and it has a password field in it. I'm using view models to pass data to the controller action and back to the form view. When the user enters their details in, and clicks submit, if validation fails and it returns them to the same view passing back in the view model, it won't default the password to what they entered. How can I get it to do this? Or should I even try?

    I just started using CakePHP and it's very different from just normal procedural or basic OOP PHP. I am still learning PHP and still read "beginning PHP/mysql" books that teaches you basic PHP. Also lots of sites online provide code that isn't for a framework. Is the only way to make non-framework code to say a framework, say cakePHP, by learning cakePHP thoroughly than rewriting the code yourself to fit the MVC model?

    Im saving an object model out to XML but when i load it back in I get exceptions when trying to use PropertyInfo.SetValue() because the property doesn't have a setter just a getter. I want to either not save out the properties that only have getters or figure out on load whether its valid for me to try and set a value or not. Anybody know how to do this Cheers

I want to have a column (should be the first column) which simply shows the display row number (i.e. it is not tied to any data (or sorting) but is simply the row number on the screen starting at 1).     Yes, I know, most of you are thinking I'm an idiot, butt (kidding) I'm not. I've been searching everywhere for something on how to fully make a navigation-based iphone app, but all I've found is how to set up table views or navigation controllers. I haven't found anything on how to create a data model (something simple from arrays and dictionaries, SQLite and CoreData are a bit out of my scope) or navigate it. Does anyone know of any tutorials or anything like that? Thanks.

    I know this type of question has been asked a lot but none of the answers seem to help. I set an environment variable through setenv() function call in Ubuntu Linux. However, the program doesn't seem use this environment variables. If I use getenv() it gets the correct value but the output to the program is wrong. However, when I use export BLOCKSIZE=512 in the shell, the output to the program is correct. I am not spawning different processes from the program. Below is only a code snippet of what I am doing, it is not my whole program. Is there any reason for this?

  • significance of index name in creating an index (mySQL)

    I've done something like this in order to use on duplicate key update: CREATE UNIQUE INDEX blah on mytable(my_col_to_make_an_index); and its worked just fine. I'm just not sure what the purpose of the index name is -- in this case 'blah'. The stuff I've read says to use one but I can't fathom why. It doesn't seem to be used in queries, although I can see it if I export the schema. So ... what purpose does the index name serve? If it helps the line in the CREATE TABLE ends up looking like: UNIQUE KEY `clothID` (`clothID`)

    Hi, I'm trying to get notifications in a CouchDB change poll as soon as pre-defined field is set or changed. I've already had a look at filters that can be used for filtering change events(db/_changes?filter=myfilter). However, I've not yet found a way to include this temporal information, because you can only get the current version of the document in this filter functions. Is there any possibility to create such a filter? If it does not work, I could export my field to a separate database and the only poll for changes in that db, but I'd prefer to keep together my data for obvious reasons. Thanks in advance!

I would like to disable index on sender, because I manually create index with sender_id and receiver id together. How can I disable auto generated index?

  • Excel isn't reading sql exported csv properly

    I have a batch file that calls sqlcmd to run a command and then export the data as a csv. When viewed in a cell the trasancted date for example shows 35:30.0 but if you click on it the formula bar shows 1/1/1900 2:45:00 PM. I need the full timestamp to show in the cell. Any ideas? The batch file is the following sqlcmd -S server -U username -P password -d database -i "D:\path\sqlScript.sql" -s "," > D:\path\report.csv -I -W -k 1 The script is the following. Now I currently have them cast as varchars, but that's simply because i've tried to change it a bit. Varchar doesn't work either. I know it is possible to manually assign it manually in the designer for each class. But looks like it also requires to set internal modifier for each single property in every class! I have about 30+ entities and it will be a huge work to do. Do you know any ideas how to set a 'default access' for the entire model?
