  • jetty deploy problem

    I had deploy a project in jetty(jetty-wtp plugin) in eclipse server. when i start jetty server the console output wrong: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/annotation/security/RunAs i also add common-annotations.jar to this project lib but cann't resolve this problem. my installed environment: JDK 1.6.0 jetty 8.0.0.M2 jetty-wtp http://download.eclipse.org/jetty/updates/jetty-wtp/development can anyone help me?:)

  • Android Icon Duplicates in Application Dock

    For some odd reason, my project is generating two icons, same name, launches the same project, in the app drawer. I can't figure out what is causing this. Does anyone have any suggestions? Link to screenshot The M in the white circle is my default icon. If you view the screenshot, you'll see it appears twice. I've checked the applications area, and it is only installed once.

    I'm trying to upload to AWS S3 by using thier AWS for Android SDK but both sample project within SDK and my project give the following error on devices while emulator runs without problem. So there's no problem with my AWS account. "Host name may not be null." Upload Code : s3Client.createBucket(Constants.getBucket()); PutObjectRequest por = new PutObjectRequest(Constants.getBucket(), record.getFile().getName(), record.getFile()); s3Client.putObject(por); Any help is appreciated.

  • Android "hello world" - versions

    Starter question: My "Hello World" attempt won't run, ("No compatible targets were found"), I think this is bacause I selected the latest version for my project (2.2), and the highest AVD version is 2.0.1. Does this make sense? Can I change my project version (haven't been able to find a way to do this), or do I have to start again? If the versions are not backwards compatible, what is the best version to use for the majority of Android devices out there? Thanks

From which build can I test them? I think it's incredible that, now in may 2010 at few months to the official final release (november 2010????) for we developers there is no possibility to test any of this features!!

    In a project using .Net4 - should there be any issues referencing dlls built for older versions of .Net? We're talking 3rd Party dlls here. I'm asking this as a general question. Specifically I have a problem referencing FluentNHibernate.dll - built with .Net3.5. It worked justed fine before I updated my project from .Net3.5 to .Net4.

    I use cnPack Uses cleaner, but in general which are the downsides of having useless units? I know some of them: 1) of course if the unit is never used across the full project there will be useless resource consuption 2) the code insight will give useless results 3) the code insight will be slower But imagine a simple case: I have a project with 2 forms, I use StrUtils in one of them but I declared StrUtils in both of them... Is there any downside in temrs of memory consumption in this case or not?

    If I open two Java projects in Eclipse which depend on each other, I have to add dependencies between these two projects in the Build Path (Properties - Java build path). This works fine for one way, but why doesn't allow Eclipse to set the dependencies vice versa? The following error message occurs: A cycle was detected in the build path of project 'A' and A cycle was detected in the build path of project 'B' I know what's causing this error but i wonder why exactly this isn't allowed.     I am working on Silverlight 3.0 and currently using code-behind in my Views. I would like to implement the MV(VM) pattern into my project as the project is growing. I have seen some WPF projects where the code-behind has NO CODE except for the InitializeComponent method, which I believe is the right way to go and just looks clean. Is this possible in Silverlight 3.0, that is, no code-behind? Can anyone point me to some good Silverlight (3.0) MV(VM) tutorials / articles?

  • Is it possible to integrate user databases between Drupal and an ASP&SQL Server platform?

    We have a game project designed on ASP&SQL Server, and we need to integrate it's user database with Drupal. This would be easier from Project to Drupal (since there is user_save and user_delete functions available globally by using drupal bootstrap) but I'm not sure if we can execute PHP functions on an ASP platform. Is there any documentation for this kind of problems? What do you suggest?

I am trying to use a C++ class in my cocoa project but I am getting build errors just creating the c++ header file. class SomeClass{ public: int count; } Expected '=', ',', ';', 'asm' or 'attribute' before 'SomeClass' in ..... If I remove all code from the header file, ?the cpp file builds without any errors and is included in the list of compiled sources...

    Hello, When i develop a project i create a folder in my project called libs. And in this folder i place all the library jars that i use. Is there a way to add just the libs folder to the class path so that i do not have to add each individual jar? I was thinking something along the lines of a variable or creating a user library.     I have two models, Worker and Project, and they are connected with has_many through association. I manage to find all the projects which are related to a specific worker by writing the following code: worker=Worker.find_by_id("some_id") worker.projects but I want the projects that I get to be only active projects (in the project model I have a status field) I tried to do something like worker.projects(:status_id=>'active') but it didn’t work for me. Can somebody tell me how I can do this?

When i add test.h file in my project and try to compile it, i see that netbeans does not see this header file, and that I would not write it, even if there are errors anyway compilation is successful.     In Visual Studio 2008 I know its possible to have one solution with two (or more) projects. Is it possible OR How is it possible for the projects to share common class files? For example - Project 1 has a log file handling class. Can Project 2 reference it? My hope is to increase code re-use and avoid two copies of the same thing that need to be maintained.     It is said here: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/mikeormond/archive/2010/12/09/writing-cross-platform-xaml-applications.aspx Within Visual Studio, if you add files to the project via “Add Existing Item”, and select the “Add As Link” option you can work on the same file from multiple projects. Oh my I'm on a project which have multiple countries, brands, components layers and each time I will add a file you want me to "Add as Link" ? This is a nightmare maintenance ! Is there any other solutions ?
