JavaOne Countdown, Are you ready?

This is a great time of the year! Not only does the weather start
cooling down a bit, but it's time to get ready for JavaOne 2012.
It feels so long since my last JavaOne (last year I missed it
because I was on a mom duty), so this year I couldn't be happier
to be this close to the action again.
Have you ever been at JavaOne? There are a million great reasons
to love JavaOne, and the most important for me is the atmosphere
of the conference: The Java community is there, and Java is in the
air!
This year we have more than 450 sessions, and there are HOLs
(Hands on labs) to get your hands dirty with code. In addition,
there will be very cool demos, an exhibition hall. and a
DEMOground. During the whole time, you will have the opportunity
to interact with the speakers, discuss topics and concerns, and
even have a drink!
Oh yes, I almost forgot, there will be lots of fun even apart from
the technology! For example there will be a Geek Bike Ride, a
Thirsty Bear party, and the Appreciation Party with Pearl Jam and
Kings of Leon. How can this get any better!
