  Active site can be seen here: http://www.studioimbrue.com/index2.php There are currently two small problems with the coding. First: when the page loads and you attempt to click on one of the large images to advance, nothing happens. Once a thumbnail is clicked, the click functionality of the large image comes available. I'm trying to fix it so when the page loads, the user can just start clicking the large image. Second: when an image is clicked, the thumbnail highlight changes. The only problem there is once it gets past 4, the "current" thumbnail needs to be seen, thus the carousel should go to that one. Right now the code for that is nextThumb.closest('.thumbscontainer').jcarousel('next'); but that makes it scroll every time you click. Thanks for any help

The only difference is, I do not have the GetObjectData method defined or the constructor with SerializationInfo defined. If I run the application as is, I receive an error that says: Type 'My.MyException' cannot be serialized. Consider marking it with the DataContractAttribute attribute, and marking all of its members you want serialized with the DataMemberAttribute attribute. If the type is a collection, consider marking it with the CollectionDataContractAttribute. If I add the DataContract / DataMember attributes to the class and its appropriate members on the server-side, I receive an error that says: Type cannot be ISerializable and have DataContractAttribute attribute. How do I serialize MyException so that I can pass an instance of it to my WCF service. Please note, I want to use my service from an Android app. Because of this, I don't want to do anything too Microsoft centric. That was my fear with DataContract / DataMember stuff. • Adding custom methods to a subclassed NSManagedObject

  I have a Core Data model where I have an entity A, which is an abstract. Entities B, C, and D inherit from entity A. There are several properties defined in entity A which are used by B, C, and D. I would like to leverage this inheritance in my model code. In addition to properties, I am wondering if I can add methods to entity A, which are implemented in it's sub-entities. For example: I add a method to the interface for entity A which returns a value and takes one argument I add implementations of this method to A, B, C, D Then, I call executeFetchRequest: to retrieve all instances of B I call the method on the objects retrieved, which should call the implementation of the method contained in B's implementation I have tried this, but when calling the method, I receive: [NSManagedObject methodName:]: unrecognized selector sent to instance I presume this is because the objects returned by executeFetchRequest: are proxy objects of some sort. Is there any way to leverage inheritance using subclassed NSManagedObjects? I would really like to be able to do this, otherwise my model code would be responsible for determining what type of NSManagedObject it's dealing with and perform special logic according to the type, which is undesirable. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

  Hi, I'm creating a flash application which loads in some XML which is generated dynamically from the CMS. I want to display an error in case the XML file isn't formatted correctly. When I test this with incorrectly formatted XML, it will just get to the line myXML = XML(myLoader.data); and then just bomb out.   I am trying to work with several projects on visual studio 2005. I have one project that depends on two others. I have included those two project in the first project solution, and set the dependencies correctly.   I am writing a packacge foobar which consists of the modules alice, bob, charles and david. From my understanding of Python packages and modules, this means I will create a folder foobar, with the following subdirectories and files (please correct if I am wrong) foobar/ __init__.py alice/alice.py bob/bob.py charles/charles.py david/david.py The package should be executable, so that in addition to making the modules alice, bob etc available as 'libraries', I should also be able to use foobar in a script like this: python foobar --args=someargs Question1: Can a package be made executable and used in a script like I described above? Question 2 The various modules will use code that I want to refactor into a common library. Does that mean creating a new sub directory 'foobar/common' and placing common.py in that folder? Question 3 How will the modules foo import the common module ? Is it 'from foobar import common' or can I not use this since these modules are part of the package? Question 4 I want to add logic for when the foobar package is being used in a script (assuming this can be done - I have only seen it done for modules) The code used is something like: if __name__ == "__main__": dosomething() where (in which file) would I put this logic ?

  We are using Rails 2.3.5 and have been experiencing seemingly random Timeout::Error: execution expired errors. The errors reported by Hoptoad are not consistently in any particular controller and show up everywhere from user sessions to account settings to some of our core functionality controllers. The vast majority of requests do not Timeout but there are enough to cause concern. Is this normal? If so, what are some things to look at to decrease the occurance? If not, has anyone run into this and what are some common problems that can trigger an error like this.

I'd rather have it say something like "An error has occured to prevent you from logging into your account". How do I override the generic error message with my specific one?

  Is there an official way to distribute (deploy) a specific font with a .NET application? We have a (public domain) "LED font" that prints numbers with the retro LED instrumentface look. This is a standard True Type or Open Type font like any other except it looks funky. Obviously for that to work, this font needs to be on the user's machine. But we'd prefer to not force the user to "install our special font into your font folder". We'd prefer to either load a Font object directly from the TTF, or programatically install the font so it's available. How do applications handle this sort of things? Eg, I notice Adobe XYZ installs various fonts on the system without user intervention. That's what we'd like to do. EDIT: okay, ideally, we'd prefer not to install the font directly. We don't want our nifty themed LED font showing up in the user's font dropdown in MS Word. We'd prefer to use this font, but restrict its use or appearance to our app. Any way to do this? Thanks!

• iPhone In-App Purchase Store Kit error -1003 "Cannot connect to iTunes Store"

  Hi all- I've been working on adding in-app purchases and was able to create and test in-app purchases using Store Kit (yay!). During testing, I exercised my app in a way which caused the app to crash mid purchase (so I guess the normal cycle of receiving paymentQueue:updatedTransactions and calling finishTransaction was interrupted). Now I am unable to successfully complete any transactions and instead am getting only transactions with transactionState SKPaymentTransactionStateFailed when paymentQueue:updatedTransactions is called. The transaction.error.code is -1003 and the transaction.error.localizedDescription is "Cannot connect to iTunes Store"! I have tried removing all products from iTunesConnect, and rebuilt them using different identifiers but that did not help. I have also tried using the App Store app to really connect to the real App Store and download some apps so I do have connectivity. Finally, I have visited the Settings:Store app to make sure I am signed out of my normal app store account. Any ideas? -Rei
