  Any recommendation on libraries to do audio processing in Ruby. I need to do the following two tasks: Find silences, for which I'm happy to just be able to iterate over each sample in the wave. Cut and paste pieces of wav files to form a new wav file. Convert wav to mp3, which I will probably leave to lame anyway. I'm looking for the equivalent of NAudio, a C# library.

I have a little bit experience with SOLR so I would like to know what is the difference between two of them especially from performance and installation side.   Does anyone know a Library which provides a Thread.sleep() for Java which has an error not higher than 1-2 Millisecond? I tried a mixture of Sleep, error measurement and BusyWait but I don't get this reliable on different windows machines. It can be a native implementation if the implementation is available for Linux and MacOS too. • LINQ TO SQL, Dynamic query with DATE type fields

  Hello, I'm building a query with the LINQ dynamic library so I don't know how many potential parameters will I have and I get an error when trying to query DATE type fields: Operator '=' incompatible with operand types 'DateTime' and 'String' When I step through the debugger in the Dynamic.cs it shows that the value is of type string and the field is of type date so the problem is obvious but I have no idea how to approach it. Any ideas? BR

  If I wanted to add, let's say, a new .lib to the build only if a particular #define was set, how would I do that? In the MSVC++ 2008 "Property Pages", you would simply add: Config Properties -> Linker -> Input -> Additional Dependencies, but I would like it if something like #define COMPILE_WITH_DETOURS was set, then the particular library would be added to the dependencies, otherwise it would be removed.   I'm new with dealing with the .sqlite3 in iphone, I created a sqlite3 file in /Users/myLab/Library/Application Support/iPhone Simulator/5.1/Applications/308C4355-D8EE-4524-A7F9-638DEB68B298/Documents/file.sqlite3 and I inserted the tables into it using Terminal.app and everything works ok with my app. but when I moved this application to another device, opened by xcode and trying to run it, I discovered that my tables are not found in this .sqlite3 file in another device. how can I save my tables in .sqlite3 file??
