The technically the users are group of people ( its confined to a small team ) who would like to post from time to time about the activity they do ( its regarding the fest of my college). to make it simple for them , i thought it will be better if they just send a mail to [email protected] and that will get posted to their respective web pages created by me . i am a novice php programmer and have no idea on how to proceed on this.

• Why do so many APIs boast about being RESTful?

  I have noticed that many APIs I have encountered such as Facebook's old API and Skydrive's API boast about being RESTful. Hence, I looked up what REST means on Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Representational_state_transfer), but I don't understand why do APIs boast about being RESTful. Doesn't RESTful just mean that an API works via communications across the web such as via HTTP? What's the big deal? This sounds like any API that relies on third-parties.

  I'm trying to set up a query that shows the first post of each thread and is ordered by the date of the last post in each thread. I got the first part down with this query: SELECT * FROM ( SELECT Min( ID ) AS MinID FROM test_posts GROUP BY Thread )tmin JOIN test_posts ON test_posts.ID = tmin.MinID Now I need to figure out how to call the last post of each thread into a table, than use that table to order the first tables results. So far I got this, but it doesn't work.   Im using Wordpress, Im also creating posts via XMLRPC based on an RSS feed that is added to periodically. What I want is to read all post titles, compare those against the RSS feed, then only post to Wordpress where the post titles dont exist. The LAYOUT of popBox2 and popBox3 same as popBox1, but the arrow of the popBox is under the btn. • Why wont SVN work on the Google Code Source? [closed]

  I installed SVN Toroise. I then proceeded to the desktop and right clicked and clicked on SVN checkout. I then entered under the URL of Repository "http://apple-crunch.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ apple-crunch-read-only" but after a few seconds the checkout fails saying that the URL doesn't exist. I got the command line from http://code.google.com/p/apple-crunch/source/checkout I'm trying to get a direct copy instead of browsing through the source.
