    Hello, I am trying to edit a word document from VB.NET using for the most part this code: How to automate Word from Visual Basic .NET to create a new document http://support.microsoft.com/kb/316383 It works fine on my machine but when i publish to the server i get the following error. Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {000209FF-0000-0000-C000-000000000046} failed due to the following error: 80070005. Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code. Exception Details: System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {000209FF-0000-0000-C000-000000000046} failed due to the following error: 80070005. The actual error happens when i try to just create a word application object Dim oWord As New Word.Application Using Visual Studio 2008 and VB.NET 3.5. I made a reference to the "Microsoft Word 10.0 Object Library" and i see Interop.Word.dll file in the bin directory. Using MS Office 2003 on development machine and Windows Server 2003 Still fairly new to .NET and don't have much knowledge about window server, but "UnauthorizedAccessException" sounds like a permission issue. I'm wondering if someone could point me in the right direction on what i might need to do to give my little application access to use word. Thank you so much for your time.

    The spark panel component for example can be written like this And its skin file will handle layout of the contentGroup, controlBarGroup, and titleDisplay. Notice, however that the contentGroup is doesn't appear in the code above and that the controlBarGroup accepts child mxml components. Now say I want to create a custom component that defines various required and non-required skinparts, such as 'headerGroup', 'navigationGroup', and 'accountPreferencesGroup'. I'd like to write this custom component like this The motivation here is that I can now create a couple different skin files to change the look and layout of those subgroups. Reading source of the spark panel, there are some calls within the mx_internal namespace such as getMXMLContent() which is a method of the spark group component, but which I have no access to. Does the description above make sense? How can I create custom 'contentGroups' in my custom Flex4 component that can use nested mxml child components? Should I approach this a different way?

    My aim is to extend the eclipse QuickFix component and automate the process of solving syntax errors. Basically, the QuickFix component provides a list of solutions and my task is to select the best possible fix and apply it to the buggy code. But, for now I've been requested to print the resolutions for a marker in the console. I've tried to work out a tutorial and I'm kind of stuck right now.   • CSS styles are not applied to elements added to JavaFX component tree

    I have applied CSS style to JavaFX components and it looks like everything is working fine except one situation: when I add JavaFX components to component tree on-the-fly their CSS styles are not applied. I noticed that: Components added dynamically look just like style information was not applied. If you set their style in JavaFX code then everything works fine. After changing stylesheets property (so that it points to another valid stylesheet) the objects already added render properly. Does anyone know the solution to this problem? I could of course put all the properties into JavaFX code or provide another stylesheet (for every existing stylesheed) that would contain the same data and change stylesheet right after adding any component, but I would like to find some elegant solution.   • TextArea component is null on applicationComplete event

    I have a weird issue (weird because it is specific to one component) with applicationComplete in a fairly simple application. All the UI components are declared in MXML. I can access them all in applicationComplete, but not a spark.components.TextArea component, named taStatus here; it is null in the handler.   • Castle Windsor: Reuse resolved component in OnCreate, UsingFactoryMethod or DynamicParameters

    I'm trying to execute an action on a resolved component before it is returned as a dependency to the application. For example, with this graph: public class Foo : IFoo { } public class Bar { IFoo _foo; IBaz _baz; public Bar(IFoo foo, IBaz baz) { _foo = foo; _baz = baz; } } When I create an instance of IFoo, I want the container to instantiate Bar and pass the already-resolved IFoo to it, along with any other dependencies it requires. So when I call: var foo = container.Resolve<IFoo>(); The container should automatically call: container.Resolve<Bar>(); // should pass foo and instantiate IBaz I've tried using OnCreate, DynamicParameters and UsingFactoryMethod, but the problem they all share is that they don't hold an explicit reference to the component: DynamicParameters is called before IFoo is instantiated. OnCreate is called after, but the delegate doesn't pass the instance. UsingFactoryMethod doesn't help because I need to register these components with TService and TComponent. Ideally, I'd like a registration to look something like this: container.Register<IFoo, Foo>((kernel, foo) => kernel.Resolve<Bar>(new { foo })); Note that IFoo and Bar are registered with the transient life style, which means that the already-resolved instance has to be passed to Bar - it can't be "re-resolved". Is this possible? Am I missing something?

  • Enlist a table's columns in other component

    The main goal is to have a dropdown menu where each of its menuItems represents one column of a <rich:extendedDataTable />. Above the table I have this: <rich:dropDownMenu value="Column visibility" submitMode="none" direction="bottom-right"> <c:forEach var="columnConfigVO" items="#{gridConfigurationManager.getColumnConfigs(listId)}"> <rich:menuItem value="columnConfigVO.columnId" /> </c:forEach> </rich:dropDownMenu> And then bellow that I have the usual <rich:extendedDataTable /> with its columns. I register the table columns to gridConfigurationManager component by overriding beforeRenderResponse() in ExtendedDataTable class. The problem is that <c:forEach /> is executing before renderResponse phase, thus gridConfigurationManager.getColumnConfigs(listId) return empty. The question is, how do I register the columns in gridConfigurationManager component before <c:forEach /> start executing? Or, anyone know a different approach to accomplish this? Thanks.

  • Refer to a Spark view component in code

    I'm building a mobile AIR app using Flash Builder 4.5. The initial view in my views package is TestHomeView.mxml. I want to refer to it in one of my .as classes elsewhere in the app, and I'm not sure how to do that. Theoretically I should be able to add an "id" attribute to TestHomeView.mxml, but FB gives me an error: "id is not allowed on the root tag of a component". The root tag is s:view. The reason I need to do this is that within another class I make various calculations and then need to pass an array of values to a component in my view class. So in SomeOtherActionScriptClass.as I first assemble the array, myArray, and then in that class I want to do this: myViewComponent.viewArray = myArray; If I'm going to do that, I also need to import the view class into the .as class, which strikes me as weird. So is there a simple way to do what I want, or do I have to dispatch a custom event which contains the array, and listen for it in the view class? Thanks.

    I use the Faenza icon collection in Ubuntu 12.04 Unity with no issues. Also it'd be interesting if anyone cracked it or spotted an easy hack against it.     I am loading some info from a server. I have created a separate method to do this. I am then calling [self myCustomMethod] to run the method. No matter where I call [self myCustomMethod] (initWithNibName, viewDidLoad, viewWillLoad, viewWillAppear, viewDidAppear), the custom method is getting called twice - what's the deal?

    I would like to add a new Field (Select list of all menu-items) to the menu item-edit form. To do so I was setting up an system plugin with the following directory structure: languageroot/languageroot.php languageroot/form/form.xml As you can see in the posted code, that is all very basic to try out. Only after adding the following lines: <li <?php echo $this-form-getLabel( 'langroot-text', 'main' )? <?php echo $this-form-getInput('langroot-text', 'main' ); ? </li to: /admininstrator/components/com_menus/views/item/tmpl/edit.php a textfield shows up. Is it possible to inject the field without touching the edit.php? Is there anywhere a good tutorial about the JForm api? Is a system-plugin the right kind, or could it be a content plugin, or should it even be a component?
