• WPF RichTextBox support for document links?

  I'm attempting to render RTF documents using the WPF RichTextBox control. So far, the appearance of the rendered RTF documents is quite true to the originals which were authored using MS Word. The one issue I've found is that the "document anchors" which are hyperlinks to different locations within the document, do not function as hoped. While they look like links, clicking on them does nothing. Can the WPF RichTextBox support this type of link?

As far as I understand native xml databases might form a proper solution for my case. They obviously store xml documents in highly efficient way. It would be great to learn your experience. • pdfSharp moving items on page

  Hi, I am trying to move content in a pdf document using pdfSharp. We have a number of documents that are the same size i.e. 488x320mm, the content within these documents is always positioned relative to the top right of the document but varies in size i.e. 210x330mm, 240x350mm etc. What i need to do is 'find' the content block and move it from its current position to the centre of the sheet. Please help!

• problem with mingw32-make

  hi, I'm quite new with makefile but I don't think the problem I got is caused by my noobness. Somehow if I try to execute mingw32-make from Users/(user)/Documents/myProject the output is "mingw32-make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop." if I just drag the folder with it to my Desktop and execute make, it works. Any ideas why does it behave like this or perhaps how to make it work from Documents directory too?

  I'm creating a view with images, videos, audio and documents (books) and I like to shown a picture of each of them in a carousel. Everything works nicely with images and videos as far as we added a image-thumbnail (image filefield) to their CCK but we like to show a default image for audio and documents without changing the original CCK. Is it possible with imagecache (may be with imagecache_custom_code or views_custom_php) or we need to look for a different approach? Thanks for your help, m.

  In one of my application I'm using the WebClient class to download files from a web server. Depending on the web server sometimes the application download millions of documents. It seems to be when there are lot of documents, performance vise the WebClient doesn't scale up well. Also it seems to be the WebClient doesn't immediately close the connection it opened for the WebServer even after it successfully download the particular document. I would like to know what other alternatives I have.

Currently I am using the simpleanalyzer, as it seems to handle the broadest amount of languages. Most of the documents to be indexed will be english, but there will be the occasional double-byte language indexed as well.   How would I execute a query equivalent to "select top 10" in couch db? For example I have a "schema" like so: title body modified and I want to select the last 10 modified documents. As an added bonus if anyone can come up with a way to do the same only per category. So for: title category body modified return a list of latest 10 documents in each category.
