You know how those packed js files look like, right? eval(function(p,a,c,k,e,d){ ... } ('obfuscated-string'.split('|'),0,{})) It just so happens to be that i have to tweak some large legacy code that looks like that and i want to find a way to turn this into a more readable version. If that's not possible, can i at least get rid of the eval?

    I have a legacy application that I'm trying to interact with from a browser. The only supported method from the application vendor is by using a DDEPoke request. I'm having difficulty figuring out a simple way to perform such a request from a browser. I am open to any particular technology, be it javascript, a browser plugin, ActiveX/Java Applet, etc - the simpler the solution the better. Does anyone have a simple solution for this?

    I have a legacy data base and a relation one-to-one between two tables. The thing is that relation uses two columns, not one. Is there some way to say in nhibernate that when getting a referenced entity it used two columns in join statement, not one? I'm trying to use this: References(x => x.Template) .Columns() .PropertyRef() But can't get how to map join on multiple columns, any ideas?

    I have a Java-application that loads data from a legacy file format into an SQLite-Database using JDBC. If the database file specified does not exist, it is supposed to create a new one. Currently the schema for the database is hardcoded in the application. I would much rather have it in a separate file as an SQL-Script, but apparently there is now easy way to execute an SQL-Script though JDBC. Is there any other way or a pattern to achieve something like this?

What I need to do is to map URL in the form: /stadia?id=1?format=xml to /stadia/1.xml Or even something like: /myApp?model=<model_name>?id=<id>?format=xml to /<model_name/<id>.xml Is it possible to craft appropriate route in Rails?

Nobody can give precise cases of when soap would be more suitable than rest, especially as for performance point of view ?
