  I have made a string vector vector actor_; and then added elements in it using push_back. I now want to display all of them, for which I need to run a loop according to the number of elements in the vector. • Wordpress meta data is written on top of page instead of the loop

  i'm building a wordpress webpage based on the Skeleton Wordpress theme. I have 2 posts showing on a page and each of these posts have custom fields values (meta data). Im using the shortcode from the skeleton theme to get a post-feed from a specific category and in that loop i have inserted this tag that displays the custom fields data <?php the_meta(); ?> I am getting the data - but the problem is, the data is shown on TOP of the page instead of inside the in the post. What could've ive possibly done wrong? or is it something with skeleton i am doing wrong?   How awful is it - or is it perfectly acceptable - to index a loop on an enumeration? I have an enumeration defined. The values of the literals are default values. The assigned values do not have any significance, will not have any significance, and the values of any literals added in the future will also not have any significance. It's just defined to limit the allowed values and to make things easier to follow. Therefore the values will always start at 0 and increase by 1.   I am writing a program that opens LPT1 and writes a value to it. The WriteFile function is returning an error code of 1167, "The device is not connected". The Device Manager shows that LPT1 is present. I have a cable connected between a development board and the PC. The cable converts JTAG pin signals to signals on the parallel port. Power is applied and the cable is connected between the development board and the PC. The development board is powered on. • Reboot loop after sysprep of AD machine

  Major screw-up here and I need to find out how much trouble I am in. I have an AD machine that is running Server 2008 R2, hyperv, DHCP and DNS. On the hyperv machine, I have a backup AD instance running along with a handfull of other server 2008 instances. Sysprep was run on the hyperv machine instead of one of the instances. I am attempting to bring the machine back up so I can try a system restore. When I boot the hyperv machine, I get an error that says “Windows could not complete the installation. To install windows on this computer , restart the installation” This message occurs in safe mode, AD restore mode and in last known configuration mode. How can I get my OS to boot at this point? Do I need to reinstall 2008 R2 from scratch?

• MS Server 2003 Activiation Loop

  Recently we had a motherboard failure on a terminal server so we replaced the faulty motherboard, re-setup the RAID arrays (same motherboard but still wouldn't recognize old RAID setup) and continued to recover the system from a previous backup. No problem up to here, after restoring the system you are prompted to reboot and than login. On login we get a message box stating that Windows needs to be activated do you want to activate now, press yes but than the OS proceeds to log you off and do nothing at all. You can try over and over but to no avail. Found a few articles about a glitch in the activation script and how to reset it, tried that with the same results. Hoping someone can share some knowledge if you have seen this before? Thanks!

• Alias using Nginx causing phpMyAdmin login endless loop

  Recently I've been trying to set up a web server using Nginx (I normally use Apache). However I've ran into a problem trying to set phpMyAdmin up on an alias. The alias correctly takes you too the phpMyAdmin login screen, however when you enter valid credentials and hit go you end up back on the login screen with no errors. Sounded like a cookie or session problem to me... but if I symlink the phpMyAdmin directory and try logging in through the symlinked version it works fine! Both the symlink and the alias one set the same number of cookies and both set seem to set the cookies for the correct domain and path. My Nginx config for the php alias is as follows: location ~ ^/phpmyadmin/(.*\.php)$ { alias /usr/share/phpMyAdmin/$1; fastcgi_pass 127.0.0.1:9000; fastcgi_index index.php; include fastcgi_params; fastcgi_param SCRIPT_FILENAME $request_filename; } I'm running Nginx 0.8.53 PHP 5.3.3 MySQL 5.1.47 phpMyAdmin 3.3.9 - self install And php-mcrypt is installed. Has anyone else experienced this behaviour before? Anyone have any ideas about how to fix it?

• Why does this loopback device creation malfunction?

  The stackoverflow people thought this was more appropriate here, I put it there as it is part of a program but I can see their POV, so here it is: At the bottom of the code you can see it failing. In fact, I'll put it here at the start too because it is the problem I need to solve: [350591.924819] EXT4-fs (loop0): bad geometry: block count 9750806 exceeds size of device (9750168 blocks) I don't understand why the device is supposedly too small. I made this partition two days ago with normal fdisk, it was created and formatted with ext4 supplying no options other than the partition (/dev/sdb2) to format. The only explaination I can think of is that ext4 has the size of the partition wrong somehow but that seems very unlikely. What is wrong with my math?   Hello, I use netcat to run a simple server like this: while true; do nc -l -p 2468 -e ./my_exe; done This way, anyone is able to connect to my host on port 2468 and talk with "my_exe". Unfortunately, if someone else wants to connect during an open session, it would get a "Connection refused" error, because netcat is no longer in listening until the next "while" loop. Is there a way to make netcat behave like a multithread server, i.e. always in listening for incoming connections? If not, are there some workarounds for this? Thank you all!

  a week ago we experienced a really sweet problem at a client of ours. They are a school with around 1200 users, and everyone of them has auto forwarding for all mail activated. We use Exchange 2010 Now a few of the users where able to make NDR loops by adding 2 different, wrong, destinations. We had around 80k mails sent within a few hours. Not very practical. My question is, does anyone know a good way to prevent something like this. I have found 2 ways, which both fail for their own reasons We could manage the auto forwarding on the exchange host itself, which should prevent this looping problem someone said. But 1200 Users, not on my watch. There is a Powershell script out in the wild which should work against that, but my employers want something more "professional" Thank you very much for your support Linus
