  • Extract inline images from Lotus Notes using Lotus Notes Java API

    I'm having issues to extract inline images that are pasted in the email body if the emails are sent from external email(like gmail for example) into the Lotus notes. The emails which are sent from Lotus Notes itself has no issues and I'm able to retrieve the inline images by using the document.generateXML() method and parsing through ['picture' xml element tag] the stream. My real concern is how to extract from the external emails(like gmail). I would really appreciate for your help and time on this. Thanks in advance!...

    Hello, my name is Abdulla and I'm from Kuwait. Sorry for my question as I know its not technically challenging. I'm facing some problems with my internet connection. My company has a DSL 2mb connection. My main problem is latency, in the morning its good but after that its gets really bad. My Internet provider says there's nothing wrong and that everything is working perfectly. I tried to explain to them the latency issue but they say that as long as I'm getting the download speed there isn't anything I can do about it. I only want to know if this is true and that the company can't do anything before I change my internet provider, as I feel that the guys at the contact center might getting back to me without asking tech support.   • OpenSwan IPsec connection drops after 30 seconds

    I'm trying to connection from my Linux Mint 16 box to a CloudStack server. Building up the connection works (pings work across the tunnel). However 30 seconds later the IPsec tunnel gets terminated out of the blue. What could cause this consistent behaviour and how to fix it? The tunnel is setup using OpenSwan (U2.6.38/K(no kernel code presently loaded)) with the L2TP IPsec VPN manager from Werner Jaeger 1.0.9. The client is behind a NAT'ed router and the server is on public IP (CloudStack 4.2) Running ipsec verify complains about IPsec support in kernel.     Hi There, I'm writing for iphone OS 3.1.3. I want the search button in the keyboard from my UISearchBar to have the search button enabled all the time. If this was any old UITextField (not a search bar) the property would be enablesReturnKeyAutomatically. Any ideas? The python version error might be red herring - I've seen it in a couple of places in the log files and in other scenarios it doesn't appear to be breaking anything...

    I am trying to build a basic RIA where my Flex application client opens an XML socket, sends the xml message "people_list" to server, and prints out the response. I have ruby at the server side and I have successfully set up the security policy stuff. The ruby xml server, successfully accepts the connections from Flex, successfully detects when they are closed and can also send messages to client. But; there is a problem... It cannot receive messages from flex client. The messages sent from flex client are queued and sent as one package when the socket is closed. Therefore, the whole wait-for-request-then-reply thing is not working... This is also -kinda- mentioned in the XMLSocket.send() document, where it is stated that the messages are sent async so; they may be delivered at any time in future. But; I need them to be synced, flushed or whatever.     I've got sort of a crazy thing going on where I have an NSProxy subclass standing in for a UISwitch. Messages sent to the proxy are forwarded to the switch. Please don't comment on whether or not this is a good design, because in context, it makes sense as an incredibly cool thing. The dealio is that when I try to add this object as an accessory view to a UITableViewCell, I get the following crash: Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInvalidArgumentException', reason: '*** -[UISwitch superlayer]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x5889740' Yes, I could just set the proxy's target as the accessory view, but then I would have to keep track of the proxy so that I could release it at the right time. So, what I really want is to be able to have the proxy retained by the table cell, and released when it is removed from the view just like a normal accessory view. So, why is -[UISwitch superlayer] (a method which does not exist) being called, and how do I save the world?

    Hi, There is a couple of hours that I'm trying to set a tableView background image. My controller is a subclass of UITableViewController, and I simply wrote this lines of code in ViewDidLoad method. UIImage *image = [UIImage imageNamed:@"home-portrait-iphone.png"]; UIImageView *imageView = [[UIImageView alloc] initWithImage:image]; self.tableView.backgroundView = imageView; Everything looks great on the simulator, I mean, I see my table and as background view, y can see the image.   • In Protobuf-net how can I pass an array of type object with objects of different types inside, knowi

    I am trying to migrate existing code that uses XmlSerializer to protobuf-net due to the increased performance it offers, however I am having problems with this specific case. I have an object[] that includes parameters that are going to be sent to a remote host (sort of a custom mini rpc facility). I know the set of types from which these parameters can be, but I cannot tell in advance in which order they are going to be sent. I have three constraints. The first is that I am running in Compact Framework, so I need something that works there. Second, as I mentioned performance is a big concern (on the serializing side) so I would rather avoid using a lot of reflection there if possible. And the most important is that I care about the order in which this parameters were sent. Using XmlSerializer it was easy just adding XmlInclude, but for fields there is nothing equivalent as far as I know in Protobuf-net. So, is there a way to do this? Here is a simplified example. [Serializable] [XmlInclude(typeof(MyType1)), XmlInclude(typeof(MyType2)), XmlInclude(typeof(MyType3)) public class Message() { public object[] parameters; public Message(object[] parms) { parameters = parms; } } Message m = new Message(new object[] {MyType1(), 33, "test", new MyType3(), new MyType3()}); MemoryStream ms = new MemoryStream(); XmlSerializer xml = new XmlSerializer(typeof(Message)); xml.Serialize(ms,xml); That will just work with XmlSerializer, but if I try to convert it to protobuf-net I will get a "No default encoding for Object" message. The best I came up with is to use generics and [ProtoInclude] as seen in this example. Since I can have different object types within the array this doesn't quite make it. I added a generic List for each potential type and a property with [ProtoIgnore] with type object[] to add them and get them. I have to use reflection when adding them (to know in which array to put each item) which is not desirable and I still can't preserve the ordering as I just extract all the items on each list one by one and put them into a new object[] array on the property get. I wonder if there is a way to accomplish this?

    I am getting echoed "Disallowed Key Characters." in my CodeIgniter when I have a http_cookie sent via GET from a SSL relay site (a payment gateway) to my application. My question is if there's any way that I can get this http_cookie through this "_clean_input_keys" method that cause this Disallowed-message and exits? The parameter contains a getenv("HTTP_COOKIE") set into a hidden input and needs to be used to keep the session alive even though it will be sent to the relay site and back again.     I have a simple script that will send out a bunch of emails but these take time to send and I want to show the user a scrolling window with the emails addresses as they are sent (or, a progress bar would be good too). I believe this is possible with the new User Interface Classes, but I can't get it to work. The documentation is kinda sparse. Specifically, the problem is that the GUI window that pops up appears blank until all the emails have been sent (the script ends) and then the text appears. This happens even if I call show(myapp) after every time I update the Label.

    I am trying to work with a simple HTTPService. The problem is that my webservice is conscious of the order of arguments it gets. I will tell the problem with an example: var service:HTTPService = new HTTPService(); var params:Object = new Object(); params.rows = 0; params.facet = "true"; service.send(params); Note that in the above code I have mentioned the parameter rows before facet, but the url I recieve is facet=true&rows=0. So I recieve the argument rows before facet and hence my webservice does not work. I figured out that the contents of array is always sent in alphabetical order, which I dont want. Is there any way I can achieve explict ordering of parameters sent? Note that I am not in power of changing the logic of webservice(its basically a RPC service supporting both desktop and web client). Thanks.

  • Keyboard Simulation not working with Keyboard hook for modifier keys

    I have a piece of software that is being used to simulate a certain device on a touchscreen, this device already runs an application that receives keyboard input from the device. My software (reffered to as simulator) displays a virtual keyboard and runs the application. Thus, the simulator sends keys with input simulator: http://inputsimulator.codeplex.com/ And the applciation listens to keys with the following keyboard hook: https://svn.cyberduck.io/tags/release-4-1/source/ch/cyberduck/core/GlobalKeyboardHook.cs My problem is, what some keys from the device's hardware actually do is to sent a key combination (ex: left-alt + 1) to the application and a weird scenario is occurring: The application listens to normal keyboard inputs The simulator sends keys to other applications (ie: visual studio responds to the keys sent when debugging) The simulator can send single keys to the application (I can type) The simulator CANNOT send key combinations to the application (alt+1 is received as just 1 in the application) This started happenning when we imported the application's dll into the same process from the simulator. Could there be any reason why I can't simulate key combinations for a hook in the same process? Is there any easy fix for this?

    hey. im writing a multithreaded winsock application and im having some issues with closing the sockets. first of all, is there a limit for a number of simultaneously open sockets? lets say like 32 sockets all in once. i establish a connection on one of the sockets, and passing information and it all goes right. problem is when i disconnect the socket and then reconnect to the same destination, i get a RST from the server after my SYN. i dont have the code for the server app so i cant debug it. when i used SO_LINGER and it sent a RST flag at the end of each session - it worked. but i dont want to end my connections this way. when not using SO_LINGER a FIN flag was sent but it seems the connection was not really closed. any help? thanks

When I insert from a .NET 2.0 FormView, I get a "SqlDateTime overflow. Must be between 1/1/1753 12:00:00 AM and 12/31/9999 11:59:59 PM." Now, I've read this post, and the parameter as sent to the class constructor is defined as global::System.Nullable<global::System.DateTime> DoB So, it looks like it should accept a Nullable obj. Additionally, the generated code is testing the value sent. if ((DoB.HasValue == true)) { command.Parameters[6].Value = ((System.DateTime)(DoB.Value)); } else { command.Parameters[6].Value = global::System.DBNull.Value; } Specifically, the error is occurring when generated SqlClient.SqlCommand.ExecuteScalar() runs: try { returnValue = command.ExecuteScalar(); } So, I guess my question is: how do I use a Typed DataSet to set a blank value (passed from a FormView on CommandName=Insert) to a null in a database?

  • RegexKitLite Runtime Crash

    I'm overlaying the mapview and using RegexKitLite. I couldn't make it work. I've downloaded .m and .h files and added to the project. Also I tried, adding libicucore.dylib or libicucore.A.dlib or adding -licucore to other compiler flags field.
