  • How do I open iPhone camera and restrict to a frame?

    Hello All: I'd like to know how to open the camera inside of a pre-defined frame (not the entire screen). When the view loads, I have a box, and inside it, I want to display what the camera sees. I don't want to snap a picture, just basically use the camera as a viewfinder. I have searched this site and have not yet found what I'm looking for. Please help. Thanks! Thomas

    Hello, I'm writing a multi-threaded application, where there is a main thread which distributes tasks to the worker threads. According to the task, a worker thread creates a connection, by using a global occi environment. When a worker thread completes its task, it closes the connection (I'm sure, there is no exception thrown while termination). My problem is that after a while(sometimes 5 mins, sometimes 5 hours) the threads cannot get connection from the environment, and they get blocked there. What can be the problem?

    Hello, I'm trying to figure out how to group items like the grouped mail boxes in the mail app. I need it to be like selecting a mail box, when you tap it it loads new data, your inbox outbox and all of the other boxes for that mail account. Then you can tap back and return to all of your accounts. If anyone has a little sample code they could show or explain how one might go about doing this any help is appreciated.     hello I've placed this code my didload method, to get a black Navigationbar. rootTabBarController.navigationController.navigationBar.barStyle = UIBarStyleBlackOpaque; rootTabBarController.moreNavigationController.navigationBar.barStyle = UIBarStyleBlackOpaque; its working fine, but when the user rearranges the Icons in the editmode, i'm getting a default blue navigation bar.     Hello, I've build a UINavigationBar into Interface Builder, and I have a NavigationController into my app. I'd like to make the one use the other to work. Just to manage the bar into IB and let the controller use it as its view (and adding by itself the Back button if needed), or in another way to do the same thing, let the NavBar use the navcontroller to adjust its display. Do you see a way to do this ? If not, I really don't see the use of the NavigationBar proposed into IB.
