I am thinking of using Paypals Payflow Link as the site will be fairly small. I am looking for an Open Source example or Framework that I can use with Payflow Link.   I have randomly created strings such as H*P2[-%-3:5RW0j*;k52vedsSQ5{)ROkb]P/*DZTr*-UX4sp What I want to do is get a count of all Caps, lower case, numeric and special characters in each string as they are generated. I am looking for an output similar to Caps = 5 Lower = 3 numneric = 6 Special = 4 Fictitious values of course. I have gone through the php string pages using count_char, substr_count etc but cant find what I am looking for. Thank you

Do I need to find a new component to use for this file or what? I am using Delphi 4 Pro and the standard VCL component for Media Player.   I'm looking for a free visual editor for a language that would compile to native windows exe, no runtime. I'm looking for alternatives to the Delphi suite (so don't give it as an answer), something that would allow me to write Windows GUI applications with ease. I don't care about the language, as long as it gets the job done, but I would appreciate if your suggestions avoid functional languages. Even better if it abstracts the windowing system with something more simple than the winAPI.

  I am looking into Javascript programming without a browser. I want to run scripts from the Linux or Mac OS X command line, much like we run any other scripting language (ruby, php, perl, python...) $ javascript my_javascript_code.js I looked into spider monkey (Mozilla) and v8 (Google), but both of these appear to be embedded. Is anyone using Javascript as a scripting language to be executed from the command line? If anyone is curious why I am looking into this, I've been poking around node.js

• Change Name of Outputted DLL

  If my project name is ABC and the DLL currently outputs as ABC.DLL, how can I make my DLL be outputted as say CBA.DLL and so that when the .LIB is compiled linked against, it is not looking for ABC.DLL, but CBA.DLL. I tried changing the name under Linker General Output File but when I linked to the .lib in my other application, it was still looking for ABC.DLL and CBA.DLL.

• How does a hash table work?

  I'm looking for an explanation of how a hashtable works - in plain English for a simpleton like me! For example I know it takes the key, calculates the hash (how?) and then performs some kind of modulo to work out where it lies in the array that the value is stored, but that's where my knowledge stops. Could anyone clarify the process. Edit: I'm not looking specifically about how hashcodes are calculated, but a general overview of how a hashtable works.
