How to use the US Windows Store from Another Country Press the Win + X keyboard combination, or right click in the bottom left hand corner of your screen to open the WinX menu, then launch the Control Panel. Now change the Control Panel’s view to the Small icons view. Then head into the Region settings. When the Region settings open you will need to switch over to the Location tab.     On my courses we've got homework on site in folders such as: http://example.com/files/tasks1-edc34rtgfds http://example.com/files/tasks2-0bg454fgerg http://example.com/files/tasks3-h1dlkjiojo8 ... Each tasksi-xxxxxxxxxxx is a folder with 11 random characters at the end. And when you view the above URLs in browser you can see Index of /tasksi-xxxxxxxxx with all the files in that folder. When you view http://example.com/files/ you can see only empty html with words "Hello, world". The problem is that you can't look into the next task without knowledge of its URL. So for example we've got the URLs for tasks1 and tasks2, and we can't guess what tasks3 URL will be (as we need to know the 11 random characters at the end) How can I get the list of all directories? (Is there a way to type something like http://example.com/files/task1-aflafjal343/..? or another way?) I want to see all upcoming homework tasks.

    Each page on my site contains a file, and I have Google Analytics set up to track file download events. I would like to see what fraction of users who visit Page X download Page X's file. I can view number of events by page by clicking on Content » Events » Pages. But I can't figure out how to see both events and pageviews (or visits) at the same time. Visits and pageviews are not available in the Secondary dimension dropdown from the Events list, and Events are not available as a Secondary dimension in the regular traffic listing (Content » Site Content » All Pages). I want something like this: Page Pageviews Events 1. /section/mypage 1,000 123 2. /category/anotherpage 867 41 3. /about/download 88 7 Is there a way to get this in Google Analytics?—to view events and pageviews, by page, at the same time?

    I am taking a computer graphics course. The book and the lecture notes are vague on the on the order of flow between the different steps in the rendering process. For example, if we have specified a view in a scene, and then want to perform a projection transformation for that given view, then we have to go through a sequence of transformations. In the end we end up with a normalized "viewcube" ready to be mapped 2D after clipping. But why do we end up with a cube (ie 3D thing), when a projection results in projecting the 3D objects to 2D. (depth information is lost?) The other line of reasoning is that all information further needed is stored within the "cube" and that visibility detection and shading is performed with respect to this cube and then we perform rasterezation.

  • How to delete Analytics property from list in Webmaster Tools?

    When I look at the Google Analytics Property page in Webmaster Tools (where you associate a Google Analytics web property with a Webmaster Tools site), I see a list of a bunch of properties with weird names. They are test properties from when we were trying things out years ago. I can't view them or change their name in Analytics because they don't exist there. All their profiles were deleted years ago. Is there a way to remove these from the list in Webmaster Tools? Or, alternatively, a way to view them again in Analytics so I can give them a better name, at least. I know this doesn't matter in the big scheme of things, but I hate clutter.

  • Best way to develop a level from Top down image using 3dmax

    I have to create a game level from a top down view of an area. I used a plane converted to an editable poly to do the job. I used edges to create the top view of roads, walkways and parks so that i can extrude/edit them later. My problem is the curves in the road look blocky I tried appying mesh smooth modifier on the final model but that interfered with material mapping. Again i tried it on the plane without the extrusions and still the modifier does not work(The roads loose their shape). I know one way to solve the problem is to add more vertices on the curve and transform their location to create a more natural curve but i have a lot of curves so before doing it manually i need to know if there is a tool that refines the curves. Also i need to know if there is a better or proper way of doing the task.

    I'm trying to learn how to code in MVC ... Normally what i do most times is that I write all the codes first, then break out the functions.. Have the functions into a seperate file and include it at the top of the page when I need it. 1) This method seem to work for me, although that means i require more time to make out the functions. Is this normal for learners.? 2) When I'm doing MVC : Model - contains all the functions and it's included in the view View - This has to do with the display of the whole app What is the use of Controller?     I am using Google Analytics events to track keywords on my articles - not necessarily the best system I know but there are too many for variables I can't easily change it right now - and I would like to be able to see how popular each keyword is by dividing the number of page views with a keyword by the number of unique pages. Is there a/what is the best way of doing this? EDIT FOR CLARITY I currently have a system set up where every time somebody loads an article an event is fired for each of the tags/keywords used, with the keyword being the label. I can currently view my view count for each of the keywords by looking at the total events for each label, however I would like to be able to see which keywords are the most popular by dividing the number of times the event has been fired by the the number of different pages it has been fired from.

    I just saw a presenter who had pre-loaded a large number of code snippets into the Toolbox so that he could pull them into the presentation rather than trying to re-type code on the spot (or have it already integrated and trying to comment/uncomment/etc.) This seemed like an extremely effective use. It got me thinking, though, that perhaps the Toolbox is far more powerful than I've ever considered, but a couple quick google searches didn't yield what I was looking for. What are some other uses of the Toolbox that could help in productivity which may or may not be obvious?

    I'm developing a simple multi-player puzzle game in Java. Both players should be able to view the same game board on his own computer. Then, when one player makes an action in the game (ex. drags an object onto a coordinate space), the game's view should update automatically on the other computer's game screen. I'd like all this to happen over the internet, not requiring both computers to be on the same LAN connection.
