  • Display processing page then redirect when complete

    - by user285379
I have a script that takes a while. I'd like to display a page during the processing of the script then redirect when the process is complete. E.g.: form.php - processing.php - display_result.php I would like that processing.php is displayed immediately after form is submitted showing (Processing your information, please wait...) Once processing is complete the page should be redirected to display_result.php Is there anyway to sort of flush the content to the browser before processing begins, then redirect when the process is complete?

  • Web Services API Versioning

    - by Paul Izzy
I offer a small Web Services API to my clients which I plan to evolve over time. So I need some sort of versioning, but I can't find any information about how you do something like that. Is there a best practise? How can I keep adding new functionality without breaking compatibility with the web services consumers?

  • How do I look at checked out files from another view in my Clearcase config spec

    - by ki_
I wonder how I look at a checked out file from another view. We are using dynamic views and I can see other views checked out files using clearcase version tree so I think it should be possible to specify in a config spec. When I check out a file I can see the following information. cleartool lshistory "20100312.133301" "userid" "/vobs/.../.../File.cpp" "/main///CHECKEDOUT" "checkout version" "checkout".

  • Windows programming for Unix programmer

    - by Jochen Walter
I am looking for an introduction to Windows programming. I already have some experience with .net-programming using C#, now I want an overview of the lower-level APIs of Windows. Wikipedia has an article on this subject but, it is quite terse. Is there a canonical book or web site for this kind of information?

  • Reduce Multiple Errors logging in sysssislog

    - by Akshay
Need help. I am trying to automate error notifications to be sent in mailers. For that I am querying the sysssislog table. I have pasted an "Execute SQl task" on the package event handler "On error". For testing purpose, I am deliberately trying to load duplicate keys in a table which consists of a Primary key column(so as to get an error). But instead of having just one error, "Violation of primary key constraint", SSIS records 3 in the table. PFA the screenshot as well. How can i restrict the tool to log only one error and not multiple ??? Package Structure. Package ("On error Event handler") - DFT - Oledb Source - Oledb Destination SSIS Error Code DTS_E_OLEDBERROR. An OLE DB error has occurred. Error code: 0x80004005. An OLE DB record is available. Source: "Microsoft SQL Server Native Client 10.0" Hresult: 0x80004005 Description: "The statement has been terminated.". An OLE DB record is available. Source: "Microsoft SQL Server Native Client 10.0" Hresult: 0x80004005 Description: "Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'PK_SalesPerson_SalesPersonID'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.SalesPerson'.". SSIS Error Code DTS_E_INDUCEDTRANSFORMFAILUREONERROR. The "input "OLE DB Destination Input" (56)" failed because error code 0xC020907B occurred, and the error row disposition on "input "OLE DB Destination Input" (56)" specifies failure on error. An error occurred on the specified object of the specified component. There may be error messages posted before this with more information about the failure. SSIS Error Code DTS_E_PROCESSINPUTFAILED. The ProcessInput method on component "OLE DB Destination" (43) failed with error code 0xC0209029 while processing input "OLE DB Destination Input" (56). The identified component returned an error from the ProcessInput method. The error is specific to the component, but the error is fatal and will cause the Data Flow task to stop running. There may be error messages posted before this with more information about the failure. Please guide me. Your help is very much appreciated. Thanks

  • C#: What is the best collection class to store very similar string items for efficient serialization

    - by Gregor
Hi, I would like to store a list of entityIDs of outlook emails to a file. The entityIDs are strings like: "000000005F776F08B736B442BCF7B6A7060B509A64002000" "000000005F776F08B736B442BCF7B6A7060B509A84002000" "000000005F776F08B736B442BCF7B6A7060B509AA4002000" as you can notice, the strings are very similar. I would like to save these strings in a collection class that would be stored as efficiently as possible when I serialize it to a file. Do you know of any collection class that could be used for this? Thank you in advance for any information... Gregor

  • Does Microsoft still sell FAST ESP?

    - by Kunal Sen
I wanted some information about FAST ESP search engine. After failing to get any response from the email query system on Microsoft site I called their ore-sales phone number. The person there told me the only way they sell FAST ESP is as a bundled product with SharePoint. That really does not make any sense and contradicts all the PDF documents they have about FAST ESP on their site. Does anyone know who to contact at Microsoft to discuss this product?

  • Previous power of 2

    - by Horacio
There is a lot of information on how to find the next power of 2 of a given value (see refs) but I cannot find any to get the previous power of two. The only way I find so far is to keep a table with all power of two up to 2^64 and make a simple lookup. Acius' Snippets gamedev Bit Twiddling Hacks Stack Overflow

  • T-Mobile G1 (MSM7200) GPU Memory

    - by Reflog
Hello. I'm trying to find some information regarding the available GPU (for OpenGL) memory on the T-Mobile G1. This phone has a MSM7200 Qualcomm chip inside with ATI Imageon GPU. Unfortunately I am not able to dig any info regarding the specifics of GPU memory usage. How much memory is available in total for the textures? Is the memory shared with the CPU memory? Thanks in advance, Eli

  • How does fork() return for son process

    - by EpsilonVector
I know htat fork() returns differently for the son and father processes, but I'm unable to find information on how this happens. How does the son process receives the return value 0 from fork? And what is the difference in regards to the call stack? As I understand it, for the father it goes something like this: father process--invokes fork--system_call--calls fork--fork executes--returns to--system_call--returns to--father process. What happens in the son side?
